So a little history first
So im in Australia and we don't have cable tv, we have "free to air" (Tv towers all over the country broadcasting 480i DTV, Yuck) and Satellite TV (Pay TV) offered by 1 company, Foxtel.
About 2-3 years ago when Netflix showed up (yeah we had blockbuster up till then) 2 other online services popped up, having 3 online streaming companies. Foxtel was losing subscribers as Satellite is very expensive vs online streaming so they released a Service called "Foxtel NOW".
/history
You can subscribe to foxtel now (or use for free as an extra to your satellite connection). If you don't have satellite it works like normal pay tv but with no "base package". You pay per month what you would like to stream/on demand. I got the Documentaries package, which allows me to stream NatGeoAU (live).
So Yes I am streaming it, because I don't have satellite I pay the $10/month just for this show and to share with you guys.
The Setup
I have my PC hooked up to the 32" UltraWide Monitor which is the main monitor. I then have another HDMI cable that runs to a HDCP stripper (AKA HDMI Splitter) that then runs into the capture card which then runs to the TV (LG OLED 55" HDR, Got that beuty 1/2 price :D ) So I can watch and record at the same time.
I then use shotcut to remove all the ads then upload to Dailymotion and Mega. (Via Hotspot Shield VPN to increase upload speeds by about 1.5x)
/Setup
Some 720p links I found:
S01E05 - DM: x6ch8hp
S02E01 - DM: x4i6mpy *
S02E03 - DM: x6dn9ij *
S04E01 - TPB: 11638982
DM = Daily Motion (i.e. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/)
TPB = Pirate bay (i.e. https://thepiratebay.org/torrent/)
* = 720p resolution but source not likely this resolution, i.e. not sharp
Search your favorite torrents site for "disasters" and you should find the 6 eps.
Ah yes thank you, the Vanity Fair analysis and the u/Admiral_Cloudberg article are incredibly compelling pieces that illustrates this accident.
I also recommend reading this book: Understanding Air France 447, it's told from the perspective of an Airbus pilot and he does a fabulous job of laying out the events. It was also a really eye opening read, it broke down the accident in a really easy and digestible form while not dumbing it down too much. Very hair-raising read that Illuminated the incident. Totally recommend.

I just got finished reading Understanding Air France 447 and it was really eye opening, it broke down the accident in a really easy and digestible form while not dumbing it down too much.
I was one of those folks who was flabbergasted at Bonin's insistence on pulling the yolk back during the deep stall as portrayed by the media and documentaries but once reading this book... I became aware at the chaos and total utter breakdown of a cockpit during the accident sequence. Very hair-raising read that Illuminated the incident. Totally recommend.

Basically yes. It’s all to do with checklist design. If you make a checklist too long and full of stuff you already know how to do without a checklist, you’ll end up skipping ahead on the checklist and actually skipping that one critical step that was buried in all the other minutia. If you’re interested in more about checklist design, I’d recommend the Checklist Manifesto. Also of all the times I’ve had an emergency, I’ve never used guard since I’m already talking to someone on a different frequency.
There's a decent documentary on Amazon Prime that talks to 4 sole survivors of plane crashes including this one:

For people who have never seen a Magnet link before:
Go download qBittorrent (Windows):
https://www.qbittorrent.org/download.php
or Flud (Android):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.delphicoder.flud&hl=en_CA
Select the entire magnet URL (everything from magnet:? to the last announce), copy it
Paste it into your torrent program. If using qBittorent, click file, add torrent link.
Torrents are the best way to share this type of content. It's cheap for the seeder (you can get a fast cheap seedbox for 10 bucks/month - see feralhosting.com) and it's usually faster than a central server.
Not everyone likes torrents, but we can't be picky here. If you live in a country with shitty laws or a bad ISP, use a VPN to download (ProtonVPN has a free plan).
Regarding the file name, people encoding to x265 probably do it because they want to archive the file and makes sense to rename it to a <S20E01 - Episode Name> format. They're probably uploading the final file which doesn't have your username, but I understand why you would want to be credited.
