They're not as easy to come by as you might think, though they pop up from time to time. Given shipping costs, you're definitely better off finding something locally if you can.
OCLC started digital shared cataloging in 1971. The peak for pre-printed library catalog cards was in 1985, and they quit printing cards in bulk in 2015 after shipping more than 1.9 billion cards during that time.[1]
Thanks for sharing and welcome, don’t rush give it some time. I also started with an plastic box in Europe there is a brand called HAN that has wooden boxes with lid and without i have those without lid. I read mixed reviews about them but i bit the bullet en bought some. They are ok the finish of the wood could be better like (sanding) but overall the quality is fine it has a metal base also the metal index tab plates are wonderful. I also keep the 3 sections in one box for the moment until i run out of space. Because i shift them from room to room every day. Han the full closed one looks a bit weak on the hinges on the pictures and in the reviews you read complains about it. That’s the reason i went with the open design. I’m happy with my choice but they are expensive
Thank you for the suggestions! I will hit back with Kelly Lynne - Memory Craft.
