I'm 38 weeks currently and the pandemic has probably made the maternity clothes issue easier than normal - Ive been working from home since March and I also generally choose my clothes to have a loose fit. The only things I've ended up buying are: ▪︎Pants extenders and covers from Amazon so I've been able to wear my normal jeans/button pants throughout my pregnancy. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07V6SNV6V/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabt1_VxMUFb4XZW5TB?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 ▪︎ One pair of maternity jeans from Kohls and two pairs of leggings that they have at Walmart. ▪︎a couple maternity tank tops(again from Walmart) because they are extra long and have been good for layering under my normal tops ▪︎nursing bras - Target has a decent selection and I chose styles that could very comfortably pass as a regular lounging bra after their original function is no longer needed.
I sometimes regret the maternity jeans because of how pricey they were but I keep reminding myself that your body does not bounce back instantly after birth so I will most likely still be wearing them for a good few months at least postpartum.
u/Nifteroni-and-Cheese & u/DecentFig, I actually got it off of amazon! I had wanted a very similar one from the Loft but they were sold out in my size. So I purchased this one from Amazon.
Not an organization app exactly, but the thing that helps me most is photographing all my clothes and keeping them in the same photoshop file. this website will help remove the background of the pics. And then I end up with my own comprehensive photo like this. Its super easy to move things around and hide layers, delete or add them etc.
Find your undertone and season first. That way you can find the right shades of said color that complement your skin.
Ex: I’m a winter with olive skin. I look great in black, but I need a cream white.

Came here to say the same. A little sweater shaver and a few new long sleeve tee shirts to wear under may save you for the cold season. I tend to invest a little more in capsule quality sweaters and then commit to washing with woolite and wash as infrequently as possible, air dry on a towel, etc. I even have a little sewing kit I use if something snags (sweaters are easier to repair than tee shirts).
This is an inexpensive long-sleeved striped tee that I have that is shockingly good quality for an Amazon buy: Tulucky Women's Casual Long... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075P1G8VQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I wear these pull over style bras from amazon around the house. I like a more structure when going out, but it sounds like they would meet your needs! For reference I’m a 34ddd

What do you mean? She can wear the red skirt with any of those tops plus the jean jacket. Color blocking with primary colors is totally a thing. Red top + red skirt = good. Yellow top + red skirt = good. Blue top + red skirt = good. ?? Its bright but that doesn't make it bad at all.
OP: for the below freezing days, I like to wear a nude-toned fleece lined tights under a sheer black tights. It looks like your own legs but has the added benefit of being very warm. I have this pair
A pair of rain resistant or waterproof boots would also help for the rainy/cold days.
Maybe also a knitted cardigan or sweater for layering purposes.
I have these joggers in a few colors (plum is my fav) and I LOVE them. They may be a bit more casual than what you’re looking for, but I’ve successfully dressed them up with a blouse and loafers to be business casual. It’s all about the way you style them. I get compliments on them all the time and they’re super comfy.

There are leggings for sale that look like just like nylons do. I don’t own any (yet) but have been looking at them lately to wear under dresses during cooler months. I don’t like how pinched I can feel while wearing certain nylons so these seemed perfect. Hope this helps :)
These are my favorite too, but only these ones because they're 75% polyester, 25% spandex. This combo of material can be found in other brands too, and I find them to be the most comfortable and less prone to pilling.

I live in these “hiking” pants and have them in a bunch of colors. They’re super comfy, easy to mix and match with, and can be dressed up or dressed down. I’ve worn them plenty of times for business casual events paired with a nice blouse and loafers.
I too have ditched jeans almost entirely, except for my bell bottom high waisted stretchy ones.
These are the only underwear I own and I cannot recommend enough!!
I will note these are the only clothing items I buy from Amazon. I find their comfort, price, and quality to check all my boxes in terms of undergarments.
Yes, I do. I've done it for a few years now and it really helps me when considering new purchases or putting together outfits. For instance, I have a wedding coming up and I can see exactly what clothes I have, what would be appropriate to wear, and if I need to buy anything to make the outfit work. So tracking helps me to avoid unncessary purchases and wear more of my wardrobe more often.
My wardrobe hovers around 50 items, including clothes, shoes, and bags. So the set up wasn't tricky for me. I use Airtable with the item, details, and a photo. I find it better than an app, although I've heard Stylebook is great (isn't available on android though!) I like the spreadsheet style of Airtable though and it's free to use.
Ooh, looks like what I'm doing but nicer formatting 😆
(A Google search for Notion wardrobe planning brought up this template )
I have a capsule wardrobe for work, granted I love the color black so it may not be your thing but my uniforms are business / business casual. Grace Karin Cardigans and Kasper Dress Pants are typically my go to, you just have to look around for your size, but both brands always have sales on Amazon, the cardigans are 15-20 dollars right now, I typically grab the pants when they are around 40 bucks but they last a long time and are very flattering. Basically I own multiple cardigans and just wear a different colored cami underneath everyday.
The second ones? Cat Footwear! They're on sale on Amazon right now!! They're called the Progressor Buckle Sandal ill link there here
They're the most comfortable sandal I've ever worn in my life, I am literally so in love with them I was considering buying the darker colour aswell. I sized up one cause I got wide feet but they're straps are pretty forgiving so you could get them true to size
Amazon! Just got them into today incredibly soft, I know they're going to be a new favourite, the colour on the board isn't as pink as the picture though. IRL its very much an ecru or stone colour
The one in the photo is from Amazon Although I am unsure about the quality as I just added it because it was the closest match to a green dress I already own that doesn't have a tag
I don't know if you are limited to IOS but I made a similar App for Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mygh.mynewclothes&hl=en_IN
So I've started a boujee lounge wear, wardrobe that looks good on camera
Wool pants (don't need to wash often, great lifetime guarantee) https://ecologyst.com/collections/the-195-merino-collection/products/the-195-merino-jogger

I also have a black silk robe that looks like a blazer on camera :)
I use Acloset.
StyleBook isn't available for android so I'm not sure how it compares. But Acloset has been super easy (and fun!) to use. It wasn't a huge pain to get started as I already had a wardrobe inventory with images of all the items I own. If you don't, you might find that a hassle. I think it's worth it though.
Thank you! I didn't use an app - I haven't found one yet that I really like.
I searched google for my items and saved images of them, used this website to remove the background, then resized, moved everything around, and added text using Adobe Illustrator.
I wish! I used this website to remove any background (a godsend - I was using photoshop before which took way longer) and then Adobe Illustrator to lay it all out. What actually took the longest time was getting all my items roughly the same size. I used an image of a girl I found online and used her as a sort of paper doll to make sure the shirts and pants were all roughly the same size.
I bought one of these! It’s cheap and lightweight. The only problem with it is that if my clothes are too heavy, it bends.
But there are other versions out on Amazon as well!
I have two pairs of Crocs sandals that I love! I’ve worn them for 2 summers and they’re still in great condition. Crocs Women's Isabella T-Strap Sandal https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B010WEBZ4I/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_J2VAAHF79R3ZX1T75CMV
I don't have a specific recommendation besides saying that if you find flat sandals too thin, try a 1-2 inch heeled sandal if that wouldn't bother you. I have also found flat sandals are too thin/hurt to walk in for a long time. But a 1-2 inch heeled sandal has enough support that I can walk outside for miles in them. I do still have a pair of flat sandals, but my summer staples are these. Unfortunately they're several seasons old so I don't think that exact pair is sold any longer. But I would consider this TYPE of sandal in the "cute and timeless" category, and I've had mine since July 2018 and they're going strong (I did buy 2 pairs so once these ones wear out, I will have another pair on standby).
Hi I recently joined this sub after lurking for a while and finally started my journey !
I quickly realised I only wore the same outfits over and over even though most of my articles could easily mix and match.
To remedy this I made an App on which you can log your clothes and it will make randomized outfits based on your needs.
It's called Cappsule and is completely free with no ads or in-app purchases either so feel free to give it a try !
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mn10games.cappsule.wardrobe
It's a beautiful looking shirt, but I'll confess the quality isn't great (there are nice little details with the zipper and studs on the front, but those aren't actually pockets, either). I don't know if I'd recommend it to anyone yet.
Yeah, the grey suit was my starting point because it's tailored to me, but I'd like to change out pieces over time. I don't think I'd pair it with the browns, either. Thank you!
I found the skirt on Amazon while looking for long a-line skirts: Here it is!
I am 5’1” so my all time favorite pants to wear are from Target. Their Prologue cropped trousers are really flattering and sit right above my ankle. Prologue Pants I usually pair them with my Clark’s platform loafers (which are the most comfortable work shoes I’ve ever had and usually on sale on Amazon) This cardigan goes well with pretty much anything as well Grace Karin Cardigan Then for blazers and dress pants I usually stick with Anne Klein and Kasper because their petites section fits me the best.
I’ve never made a capsule wardrobe for my pregnancy but I definitely invested in one pair of black pregnancy jeans and a dress like this because I could wear it with a cardigan or any of my prepregnancy shirts and just tie it up over my belly so it looks cute and shows off the belly a bit I always found that over sized stuff just made me look HUGE. I also invested in a pair of maternity spanks and these were a lifesaver! Helped support my belly and keep everything in place.

HIGHLY recommend the Bali Comfort Revolution Bra (https://www.amazon.com/Bali-Womens-Comfort-Revolution-Swirl/dp/B00LWW7CPG/ref=asc_df_B00LWW7CPG/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=322930806421&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12920787421976776286&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9021300&hvtargid=pla-610844994383&psc=1)
I’m a 34DD and hate bras with a passion. I have a few of these in a medium and I live in them. Hanes Women's Cozy Seamless Wire Free Bra https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HRFTGGE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_iJFhFbSBSE1SA
Many years ago I bought my first pair of black boots, I think it was Hilaria Raport or something like that and I was IN LOVE. I tried to buy them again but found these that look exactly the same and are also supposedly snow boots. I haven’t tried them in snow but they are thick and insulated. Not as comfy as the original boots I had, I’m still wearing them in, but I just love how they look!
I got this pair from Amazon

These are technically nursing bras, but I love them. They have the crossing straps in front to prevent uniboob, and they are comfortable. I’m not certain this is the brand I got, but they are very similar to this and I ordered on Amazon.
