Most traditional holsters are going to require a belt for the clip(s) to hold onto.
You should consider a belly band holster for when you're wearing leggings.
I have a cobra belt from Vedder which works great. The clip is just too big for some of my holsters so when I’m not wearing that I go back and forth from the TDU belts from 5.11 and this belt from Amazon. It’s not specifically a gun belt but it’s extremely easy to loosen, tighten, take off and put on. And it works just the same as the other brands I mentioned.

That seems to be the main company that sells the kit. It seems simple enough as a lot, however it shouldn't be too bad if you are handy with tools and have patience.

$26.50 plus yadayada seems reasonable enough.

I didn’t know much about holsters so got that one based on reviews. But now I’m getting the Vedder light tuck. Many people on here say it’s good.
Suspenders all day everyday.
I have hank hill ass too, iwb carry at 4.
Suspenders keep everything up, I wear them between my undershirt and outer shirt. Absolute game changer. I have these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001VNBAYU/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_2JA0R14VSY8MN7V35R3P?psc=1
I used to EDC a random TAC-Force in college. I still carry it around decently often when working on house projects and while camping, it has lasted me for years. Just clip it inside your front pocket and only other people that also own a pocket knife will be able to recognize what it is.
I've been using this for 3 years now. 90% of the time i carry in sweatpants because i hate wearing jeans. My CZ P10C fits like a glove.

Small single shoulder bag? Carries your pistol, spare mags, protein bars, wallet, and anything else you can fit in a large cargo pocket. Can be worn backwards, so the pouch sits at your chest instead of behind for easier access. A buddy of mine uses this when he rides his motorcycle. Or you can go with the stylish and classic fanny pack.

Belly band that lets you use whatever Kydex holster you already own. I have the appendix carry option and it serves me well
My favorite option is a magnet like this mounted somewhere in your car, maybe near your knee. Then if you plan on a loaded chamber, something like this kydex gaurd
This is illegal in some states though. So make sure you’re able to do this.

I have a few but I've been using this one primarily for about 2 months now. This is a great option for a leather belt which is, at the very least, great for situations when you need something a little less casual than a nylon belt.
I have 2 holsters for my 43x. Honestly, the one that works the best for me is this one Amberide IWB KYDEX Holster Fit: Glock 43/43X & Glock 43X MOS Pistol | Inside Waistband | Adjustable Cant | US KYDEX Made https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DYXCWLL/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_ENFGM603Z9FRZ4WPA7WH?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1.
I put a medium foam wedge on it and it works very well. Nothing hanging off of it or anything. I don't carry a spare mag.
I also have a Bravo Concealment that actually doesn't conceal so well so I don't use it.
I just got a cheap kydex one off Amazon, works well.

I have had good luck with using antifog drops on my optics. Living in new England going from car to cold weather, or from a gun tucked up close to body heat to cool air I had a lot of fogging. I've never found a perfect solution but I've had decent luck with this cheap no name brand of antifog solution

I wipe my guns with this Its got oil in it and it lasts for a long time if you keep it in the bag. I bought 2 years ago and both they still work great.
With that said, not all environments are the same, and some guns just rust easier. My sig 365 has no issues with rusting, even in south florida. If those wipes don’t work you can always spray paint the gun too. Might get hate for saying that but I spent hours cleaning rust off my shotgun after just one day of duck hunting in salt water. The next day I sprayed it with Rustoleum spray pain and haven’t seen any rust again. Just make sure to tape off moving parts if you do this
This sub hates the concept of bags, so good luck getting anything useful. I'm in the same situation as you, where I sometimes can't carry on my body easily and choose to carry a bag instead. The bag rarely leaves my body anyway, and I'd rather have a weapon close than not at all.
I've been using this one:

I work in certain form of IT (not the sit at the desk kind, but delivering and installing type) so I needed a bag with room for a small laptop and other things, and the pocket on the back fits a small gun pretty well. I cycle between a P365 and a P238.
Might not be the perfect bag you're looking for but I like it a lot.
I carry a small $8 Hatori flashlight and it comes in handy way more than I expected. It weighs next to nothing and when I don't carry it is when I always need it. Usually working around the home behind a TV or under a hood or something. Much faster and easier to handle than a cellphone. I bought several of them. They are so cheap so if I lose or break one no big deal. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M24XPD6/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Yeah definitely. This is the one I have for my Beretta. It’s awesome. Cardini Leather USA - IWB Leather Holster - Concealed Carry - for Beretta 92FS Series - Inside The Waistband with Clip https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077H295LM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_9HJYRY4E7NAWE3HBY24A
For hiking i like the comfort tach belly band but I won’t put a glock straight into it as it does not have a kydex area for the trigger. I pair the belly band with an amberide iwb holster. Put the band on then tuck the holster in it.

That's odd and definitely not correct. Here is the core carry pack on Amazon. I ordered mine from Alien Gear directly and it took about a month.

And here it is on Amazon with a 6-10 day turn around.

If it is just for the one handgun you can look into some of the single gun Biometric safes. They are probably your best bet for simplicity and cost while still being better than a "cabinet" style box. You can program some for multiple family members finger prints and most, if not all, have mechanical backup (keyed entry).

Amazon has the Streamlight MicroStream for $16.99. It runs for 2.25 hours on one AAA battery. It has the cap button (momentary on/constant on) and the pocket clip doubles as a hat clip. It's a nice EDC torch for now, and backup for later.
