Could be the coolant water outlet. It's located to the right of the valve cover. It's made of plastic so they seem to fail easily. Luckily it's a cheaper part. Check this video to be sure: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFrsCt3Rzlk
If that's what it is, here it is on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014RF7SW6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I think I can chime in here... I just purchased several LED lights from both online /people selling them. I have projector headlights and man do those (5-$35) suck.. I wouldn’t even bother with eBay. They spray light everywhere and just don’t do justice and they’re really loud too. After A LOT of research, I ended up going with the OPT7 LED headlights. They sometimes have coupons/deals on Amazon too. The reviews and quick research speak for itself on them. One thing I do notice is no matter what, LED can never beat Halogen in distance.. many will tell you otherwise because of how pretty and bright they are but I can assure you that Halogen will always be better with light distance and there’s even research/stats to prove it with enough reading.

Is it part #13251447? I have a 2014 Cruze Eco 1.4L and bought this one off Amazon a while back; no longer available unfortunately, but it's something to go off of.

I second BSB here the most certain thing to go bad with the coolant system is the outlet. I had to replace this too. First I bought the hose from the outlet to the overflow reservoir then the outlet. But Amazon sent me an actual OEM part for like 25.00. Another thing there is a recall on the water pump. I will try to send a link to the part. There we go got it.

Not currently in stock on Amazon but these are what I've been using for the last year. I'm a big fan of Auxito leds. Run their products in my headlights, fog lights, all tail light bulbs, and license plate lights.

VIOFO A129 Pro Duo, linked below, in my 2018 hatch. I hardwired it to the fuse box so it turns on automatically when I turn on the car. It also has parking mode so it keeps recording for a few hours after I park, until the battery reaches a certain voltage. If the battery is charged up enough it’ll record all night long.
I love having a dash cam for peace of mind. In fact, I was just recently the victim of a hit and run a couple weeks ago. My car was parked in my reserved spot at home when another car backed up into the back door and then took off. Luckily my camera caught it while in parking mode and I was able to get their plate. So my insurance looked them up and found them, which meant I didn’t have to pay my deductible to get my car repaired. The dash cam paid for itself right there, since the repairs cost $1200.

41-156 is the part number you want.
Check the gap is .028, that should be what they come out of the box at.
The clips on the coils are really stiff. If you gentle lift the other side while you press they come off way easier. I use this spark plug socket and it worked well.

Just checked and rockauto is currently out of stock. So is Amazon. This is the kit I ordered, about 3 weeks ago, when it was in stock: https://www.amazon.com/Dorman-926-166-Cooler-Assembly-Chevrolet/dp/B07QRZ2315
To find it on Rockauto look at Chevy>Cruze>(year)>(engine type; 1.4L correct?)>Engine>Oil Cooler Gasket>the above kit.
Dorman's website says these sell at places like O'Reilly's and Advanced Auto so you might check their websites and see if they might have them, or set a notify me alert on rockauto for when they come back. I did look them up on O'Reilly's and they do have them, but they're about $40 more expensive than Rockauto would be. I would just wait and buy cheaper.
A majority of the seals and o-rings in that kit aren't for the cooler, but for other stuff like where the cat connects to the exhaust manifold as well as the flex pipe on the other side... so you might only use about half of whats included.
My only advice is maybe the battery is in the wrong way, if you have to flip it around, or try a different battery, I got these and it's worked out well:

I live in a state that does not require a front license plate but my 2014 cruise had a front mount on it when I bought it. I removed it and used regular body panel plugs to fill the holes. It's barely noticeable. Also my car is black so that helped. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MEHSLZT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_H5YA6DGE1NAMCAJHMY58

I have LED headlights installed in place of the traditional halogen bulbs because I was going through a set of halogens a year. Once a year I would go to flip on the high beams and a side would blow out.
These LED replacements were plug and play, no modifications necessary to the vehicle. The only thing I had to watch out for was making sure they were positioned correctly in the socket such that the low beams were low and the high beams were high and not the other way around.
SEALIGHT H13/9008 LED Headlight Bulbs Dual High/Low Beam X1 Series Xenon White 6000K 6000LM
If your 2017 is anything like my 2016 LT RS with projectors, you may only have one bulb in your headlights. The projectors basically have an arm with a drop down shutter that cuts the top of the beam off in mine so it's one 9005 bulb. If it is a projector housing, you may want to look for a low profile bulb, otherwise you'll have to cut or drill out the dust caps to fit that large heat sink in. I think you can buy a weird rubber gasket thing to replace them but I'm not 100% sure. There's also not much room to work in the engine compartment due to two crosser bars that go right over where the headlights are mounted, so thankfully I have small hands.
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07HCZ4VCH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_B8MrAXIbxlSS2
These are the bulbs that I bought about a year and a half and 50,000 km ago and the only complaint I have with them is that with the stop start engine, they'll flicker a bit when the engine restarts. But they've been a solid upgrade for my car and I love them. I can deal with a small intermittent flicker when I stop for actually having visibility when I drive. I bought the wiring harness with the capacitors\resistors and it burned out after a week so I just deal with the slight flicker.
Standard shackle hitch receiver 2 inch would help. e.g https://www.amazon.com/BBG4x4-Shackle-Hitch-Receiver-Trailer/dp/B0897SJJPH/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=bbg4x4&qid=1602113962&sprefix=bbg&sr=8-3
Yeah haha. In retrospect I definitely should have told the guy what I was doing. Here’s the harness I bought. I definitely recommend a heat gun when you replace it. The screws on mine for the lights were pretty rusted, the heat gun made it a lot easier to get them out. I got a set of stainless screws from Home Depot in case I ever have to replace it again. The heat gun also helps soften the glue the factory sealed the button in with too.
hi I bought these from amazon they have daytime running lights and projector headlights. they do not come with the actual bulb for the headlight. you have to purchase that yourself but I do think it’s makes my 2018 cruze look nicer
All GM PDIMs are shit. The mylink bluetooth PDIM (and the Camaro PDIM) dies just as fast as the standard non-Bluetooth one that came with the green screen. I went through 3 non-Bluetooth ones in the 4 years I owned a Cruze.
Get a Tunai Firefly on Amazon. Plug it into the Aux and USB in your center console and forget about it. Bonus that you get a compartment light out of it too.
Something like this? I have at least two kits like this laying around, and they do work when nothing else does, but the trick is to go slowly and use as much torque as possible.
If you end up using an extractor kit like this, you're not reusing the bolt afterwards, unless you're melting it down and re-casting it (that's a joke, don't try that, just buy a new bolt).
Other than drain and fills you may want to try some Lucas Transmission Fix. Some people have good results with it.
No problem. Here’s the tow hook mount I saw recommended on Cruzetalk. I’d definitely put some thread locker on there though. Also, I read the tow hook is reverse thread.
Oh, if you're saying audio was working except for bluetooth and aux. In the case of bluetooth... I think your GUI is different than mine, but when I tap bluetooth it would open a page that has a couple of tabs at the top and I have had to open that and then hit a tab towards the right to get bluetooth working. Not always, just on occasion.
As far as Aux goes, I believe you have to use the RCA inputs for Aux and not the headphone jack in the elbow compartment. So you'll need a 3.5mm stereo headphone to 2-male RCA adapter cables. Like this.
Also, you get what you pay for on those things. Not great, not terrible.
I have same issue from 1 month.

Any idea the about cost of repair (labour plus replacement) for Cat Converter in Canada?
Online part price varies from C$ 200 to high C$500s..
You'll need male and female Torx driver sets. A good basic ratchet and socket set (with varying length extenders and maybe even one with a middle universal joint)). A spark plug socket of the right size. Slip-joint and needle-nose pliers. An oil catch pan. A coolant catch pan. Flexible hose clamp pliers (looks like this, this is not a recommendation for that specific brand). A set of panel removal tools (again, not a specific brand recommendation, just an example).
Not sure if this breaks the rules, but get a torx bit/e-torx set. I picked this one on Amazon for $23. You'll thank yourself if you ever need to change your rotors, valve cover, etc https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082WMZH9L/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_YDJ6DRER3Z263TNBQ6XP?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Is there a tire that's low but not in the position shown? If that's all the TPMS just needs to be retrained. The fast way to do that requires a tool. I've heard there's a poor man's way that involves intentionally deflating the tires in sequence during the learning procedure... But I'm not sure about that... I have said tool so I've never done it the other way.

Those are the bolts that hold the exhaust manifold in place. Here's a replacement set: https://www.amazon.com/1-4L-Exhaust-Manifold-Nuts-55565352/dp/B07C7WGP7J
It's best to replace these with new ones if you ever remove them.
I would only remove these with a narrow profile 10mm socket (e.g., one that's driven by a 1/4" ratchet). Two of these are difficult to access: 1. The lower right is where that narrow profile socket on a 1/4" extension is most necessary because there's virtually no room for a wider socket to reach through to grab the bolt. 2. The upper left bolt, which you'll have to get creative with extensions or maybe just a finger ratchet, or approaching from the left side of the engine to get a hand in there.
These are tightened to 15 Foot Pounds.
Just replaced mine front and back on my 2013 since I had to replace the front bumper due to damage. They fit perfect and look pretty slick.

I’ve had these in my 2016 gen 2 with projectors for almost three years now. They match the colour of the LED trim around the headlight (I bought matching H11 fog lights too). I didn’t have to modify the dust caps and my only complaint is that they flicker a bit with the stop start engine. You can put a resistor harness on them to fix that, but it’s pointless because they’ll probably still flicker.
Do you mean replacing the bulbs? I replaced mine with PIAA Solar Yellow https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01NAOGJN2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

I run Auxito bulbs in my headlights. Had them since early this year and love them. Running Auxitos in my fog lights too. (I've replaced almost every bulb on my car with Auxito leds)
As for tires I recently put Yokohama Avid Ascend GTs on my 2017. I've put about 2500 miles on them and they're way better than the stock tires were. They were only $108/tire from Tirerack.
I've seen a few of these CarPlay & Android Auto adapters hanging around (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081VZG6PZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_C1ZY40Z72XWBB8AE3CN7?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1).
As I have both on the factory headunit, I cannot attest for, nor of compatibility to your vehicld for any of them but there's plenty on Amazon at varying price points. The one I provided is more just a place to start your search, as this one has an ok-ish set of reviews.
Hope this helps!
Something like this will get a lot of work done.
Hi there, I got new plugs and the problem still sporadically existed and I discovered they were improperly gapped. If that doesnt fix it for you, my guess would be your coil pack is on the fritz and might need to be replaced sooner rather than later.
This is the one I'm consistently seeing recommended.
So I did a bit of looking myself and found this one
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0746Z9BDP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_i_RS845MNDBG6C5EZWZZ4B
Not sure if it would be what you're looking for but it does also have the option of changing the letter/background colours.
Thanks! The excast banner is this one:
https://www.amazon.com/Demupai-Windshield-Windscreen-Sticker-Background/dp/B072BSJGGM
but it seems to be unavailable. I'm also looking to replace this one so i will let you know if i find another good one.
I just noticed this while looking at the amazon page. It's low price makes me feel suspicious so I can't vet it, but it might be better than just the gaskets alone: https://www.amazon.com/Assembly-Compatible-2011-2018-Chevrolet-88179-91400/dp/B08FMGYKB5/ref=rtpb_2?pd_rd_w=cvR2d&pf_rd_p=be844577-fee7-4bbc-8dda-083e56cc6f0d&pf_rd_r=TNTNYTVEW8KAF0A40KDJ&pd_rd_r=b52921ce-0b1c-4060-9c1e-1ab72af2ed95&am...
The reviews look positive.
Interesting. I didn't know that was a thing. I remember some older GM vehicles, mostly Pontiacs, had fake screw-on plastic lug nut covers.
Anyway, the factory lug nuts on a Cruze should be 19mm wide: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JNEBF1M/
Late to the party but I run Auxitos in my headlights and fog lights. Both work great. Headlights fit with the dust covers. For the fog lights I had to pull the bumper and swap to a smaller washer fluid reservior.
i have a 1.8 and had to replace the valve cover 4 times, if you're replacing the gasket you might as well replace the cover, it's likely warped. also, the reason i had to replace it 4 times is because i didn't replace the little corrugated plastic hose on the top left, which had small invisible cracks which caused the cover to fail over and over. you can get both pretty cheap on amazon these days. beware of cross threading the bolts into the block, i broke 2 of them, it's very easy to do.
valve cover
here are the 2 i ordered back in 2019, haven't had problems with it since.
P0496 might be a bad purge valve which is pretty common on those engines.
P0299 is turbo underboost which can be a sign of a lazy or failing turbo.
I would replace the evap purge valve which isn't that hard from what I've read or expensive, clear your codes, and check again in a week.

That should be the part you need.
My 2018 LT hatch has mini fuses. I imagine all Gen 2 cruzes are the same. I used these fuse taps to hardwire my dash cam:

However I did not use the 15A fuses they come with, since that’s too high of an amperage for the dash cam. I bought some 5A fuses to use instead:
Bussmann ATM-5 ATM Automotive Blade Fuse - 5 Amp, 5 Pack (Tin) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CF7CRC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_mVdUFb1Y3GGV1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I installed a Garmin mini dashcam in my 2016 Cruze Premier last year. The camera is behind the rearview mirror out of sight when driving.
I tucked the wire into the headliner and ran it across to the driver's side A pillar. I think I popped the pillar cover off and ran the wire down and out of the way of the airbags, although I might have tucked it in between the pillar and headliner without taking the pillar off. I then routed the wire above the drivers feet under the steering wheel. There's an airbag right above your feet too, I took that down since it's just held on by a couple nuts to make sure the wire was above it and out of its way. Went from under the steering wheel to the fuse box under the radio from behind so the wire is hidden.
Once at the fusebox, I tapped in to the PRNDM fuse using a fuse tap. This is one of the few fuses in there that turns on with the car and also has RAP (retained accessory power, it stays on after you shut the car off until you open the door). I wired up a USB plug (like this one https://www.amazon.com/Agile-Shop-Converter-Module-Convert-Adapter/dp/B07JHH294R/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=12v+to+usb&qid=1605566896&sr=8-6) to my fuse tap, found a suitable ground for it, and plugged the dash cam wire into it. Works great.
Since the wifey had the 9 speaker system, I used one of these in hers to add Wireless Charging.
Mine only has the 6 speaker system, so I used this for mine. Found one of these at a pull-a-part for $5.
For each setup I just found a Wireless Charger on Amazon with multiple contact pads, then disassembled it, and hot glued everything to the underside of the cubby & tray. And then ran power were it needed to go. The tray was easiest since there is a USB plug underneath of it. For the cubby, I just ran an add-a-fuse behind the dash, to a spot in the fuse box that had constant power (wanted it to charge the phone even if the car was off, but the Wireless Charger doesn't actually draw power unless the phone is placed on the charging pads.)

I usually either get the amazon basics high mileage full synthetic oil or go to walmart and get the supertech version; whatever price is better.
There are aftermarket radio head units that have android built right in.
There is this Tesla inspired radio - Here
Also, there is a radio that looks closer to stock - Here
You could probably find much better prices than on Amazon, but at least you can see the styles of radio they make for our car. If you scroll through the months/years of posts on this subreddit, it seems there have been a few Cruze owners who have installed the large screen tesla radio with success, so it seems like a promising option.
To get internet on these radios so you can install apps, you need to just turn on the Hotspot feature on your smartphone and connect to the phone via WiFi.
I use Pennzoil Platinum High Mileage Full Synthetic 5W-30 Motor Oil . It's an overkill for a cruze; but since this car has already been hit 4 times since a month after I bought it; I like to treat it to something nice. The filter on my old drain plug was a 10 mm, use a combination wrench to get it off, not a socket. The filter cap takes a 24 mm drain plug socket.
I should mention I have a 2015.
I pair it with a K&N filter from amazon every 4 months. You can get both on a discount with their subscribe and save program.
I am a fan of https://www.amazon.com/Red-Line-Complete-System-Cleaner/dp/B000CPI5Z0 Redline sl1. It has the highest Polyether-amines (cleaning agent) of almost any bottle. I did have BG44k restore a boost problem I had in an old Saab 900 turbo but that stuff is a complete splurge.
Those things inside the rubber boot are just the contact springs, not the actual ignition coil itself. I can see how this is confusing since the springs are "coiled" steel. They're just like contact springs you'd find inside the battery compartment of various electronic devices.
The actual ignition coils are wound copper coils that that convert the low-voltage power from the cars electrical system into high-voltage power that is capable of jumping across the spark plug gap. These coils are in the upper part of the whole assembly under the epoxy "goo" on top.
The first thing to do is make sure those contact springs are straight and not binding inside to rubber boot. Then apply a few dabs of dielectric grease inside the end of the boot. Finally, remove the spark plugs and inspect them for proper gap and make sure they're not worn out.
Gotcha. Yeah I would definitely go for the battery in the trunk then. I wouldn't see any harm in doing it that way. Just get a big enough gauge wire and then I would also use an inline fuse similar to something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Nilight-GA0004-Automotive-Standard-Socket-5/dp/B0002KR88A
I'd use a ring terminal on the battery and make sure all of the connections are soldered and heat shrinked.
I was told as long as it's "near" .5 it's fine.
Either try some cataclean, or my personal favorite...motorkote.

I bought some low profile 1:1 Sealight LEDs from Amazon. Only problem I found with them was that they flicker with the stop start engine. Not enough to be dangerous, just enough to be annoying. Mine were a 9005 in my projector housing and they fit perfectly inside the dust caps without any issues. The worst part was getting the dust caps off and on with the limited amount of space around that engine.
I got mine from this Amazon listing: 10.4" Quadcore Car DVD player 1024x768 Car Vertical Screen 16GB ROM Stereo GPS Navigation for Chevrolet Cruze 2009-2014 https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0784BPXT1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_UiwvEb4QJGH8T
It's also unbranded and customer support is lacking, but that kinda comes with the territory considering the price.
This is the one people buy on Amazon I thought. It's like 20 bucks
https://www.amazon.com/iJDMTOY-Tow-License-Mounting-Chevrolet/dp/B07FQZS2J3
That exact stereo (which I have) is priced at your link $90 more than where I bought it from: https://smile.amazon.com/Quadcore-1024x768-Navigation-Chevrolet-2009-2014/dp/B0784BPXT1/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=cruze+tesla+style+stereo&qid=1569768977&s=gateway&sr=8-3
They also are falsely advertising that the stereo can control the AC/heater, when it does not. It only displays informational stuff about that like the stock display does.
Mine was fixed by replacing both oxygen sensors, clearing the code3, and dumping this in a tank of shell gas.

I've always like the yellow fog lamps/covers, so I may go that route if I don't add LED DRL to them.
I did add the lip. I had something flip up from the highway and gutted the guard that is usually under the front bumper and it made for a bit of an eye sore when you looked at the front end since you still saw where it clipped in. I ordered that off of Amazon. It's literally just a heavy duty foam/plastic that has really good 3M tape. Here's the link.

The part is under $25 on Amazon. Takes about 30 minutes to replace. Make sure you have locking hose clamp pliers and an E10 socket.

Again, I don't know Jack shit about cars but judging by the video, it looks simple.
I know that there are things like this. But if your asking for just the gold part without the chrome trim, I am not sure if it is sold seperate. You're best bet is to look at ebay or aliexpress for "stickers" for the front emblem.
Hi, hopefully you see this. I have #22797218 plugged into my 2013 LT. Just so you know, this thing stopped synching audio two years ago. I don't know if they don't age with BT tech or what, but I'm thinking I have to upgrade this to one of the others you have linked. Not sure if that's going to help or not, but it worked like a charm up till then.
Some thing you may not have come across in your research: you have to link to "GM Music" in your phone, which is separate from "Your Car" or whatever the phone pairing antenna is called.
I use this one:

I chose that one for the price and the fact that it has not harmed any reviewer's cars. I have no way of testing any octane boosters personally. I've tried STP and gumout as well just to see and during summer months my car feels more responsive and runs quieter. In winter I let my car run down to half tank and fill up half a bottle. In the summer I let my tank run to near empty and dump a whole bottle of octane booster.

If you don't like this method you could also just pump higher octane gas into your car as it is one less thing to worry about but you'll pay a bit more. If you find a reliable way to get cheaper gas like say shopping at kroger and using shell then that might be better.
I've replaced mine at least 3 times. Captured the piece last time and glued it on with silicone and it's lasted longer than any of my other ones. I got mine from Amazon, around $30 for the whole corner piece IIRC. Super easy to install just snaps on and off.

Edit for link : Amazon
I bought these lights to go inside my grille. However the battery is in the trunk rather than under the hood so i dont know what I should do. And I’m hopefully getting some subs soon I already have an amp
Here’s a link to the lights. Any suggestions on wiring them?? LED Modules (Straight Black, UV LED) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EL2CNE8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_6ypTBbWNSJBKN
Yeah, I have a 2014 Chevy Cruze, also have Bluetooth built in for calls only. I have the SoundBot. However, you will want a Ground Loop Noise Isolator to remove the whine from the music/audio.
I use this one: Mpow Ground Loop Noise Isolator Car Audio/Home Stereo System 3.5mm Audio Cable (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019393MV2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_dc.FBb0RVGMRQ

I completely understand why you've asked this question. Not a lot of room for a phone mount! I've had this one for about a month and I LOVE IT. I've tried 4 different ones and this one is the only one that can hold my phone from the bottom of my phone so it's over the steering wheel and visible.
Looks to be the part I need. Maybe I'm just dumb but I'm not sure how this cable is different from the one I have from the factory.
EDIT: Actually i think I get it. It's the crimp that is the problem. I assume the one I found on Amazon is crimped better, giving it a better connection.
I haven't tried that mirror mount, but you might want to try an adhesive mount. That mirror mount will make the cam hang down low and out in the open.
With an adhesive mount you can mount it up behind your mirror and make it more stealthy and less prone to theft.
Here is an adhesive mount you might look into: https://www.amazon.com/iSaddle-Double-Sided-Adhesive-Windshield-DashBoard/dp/B00BPRLIFI/
I bought these. I have no idea how they'll fit, but when they arrive I'll let you know.
Update: the fit is not perfect, but pretty good. Not a custom fit, which is what you're looking for, I think.
Chevy emblem is a "carbon fiber" decal that was oversized and needed to be cut to fit in with the chrome. The rims are plasti dipped though, did that the other day.

Mine is a black carbon fiber sticker. My buddy actually bought it for me, not sure exactly where. But here's one that should work for ya http://www.amazon.com/Chevrolet-2009-2014-Carbon-Emblem-Sticker/dp/B00E9D4NES This is what mine looks like... http://m.imgur.com/hCjroSV?r
