There are quite a few reference sheets and such out there for sure - however, the official one is pretty easy to use which can be snagged here. It is booked marked to relevant combat tables and skill check values, etc. Well worth the $8 to have loaded on a tablet for quick reference.
It has all of the basic tables for skill checks and combat. The only other thing you should grab or have handy is the NETrunning section. I usually just keep the CRB with that bookmarked next to me though since it can get pretty specific at time.
Beyond that I have my players utilize the CyberpunkRED Compantion App - which helps newer players out quite. It's fairly intuitive for the most part, but some things need to be spelled out better.
Character Creation is a big one. Using the "Template" method - the "Stats" section shows the table with the red bar highlighting the randomized choice. You can choose a different row by clicking the options you'd prefer to take.
Using the "Quick and Dirty" method randomizes your stats across the table like the CRB allows for, but you cannot change them once they're set. You'd have to close out of that character sheet and try again to get different values. A little awkward, but if you tell your players to start with the "Stats" selection first, it won't feel as if they've had to start over just to get different values.
The companion app is being updated regularly, it's free, and also includes an "Agent" section with contains additional information and note-entering for campaigns. It allows for in-app rolling in addition to inventory management, buying/selling gear, cyberware/deck upgrades, etc.
For those coming from D&D Beyond or Hero Lab it's something I highly recommend.
Hey Y'all!
I love the screamsheets in the Cyberpunk Red rulebook, and ended up taking a lot of inspiration from the extra little articles included, rather than running the single page adventures paired with them. So I went ahead and made a fillable pdf version of the screamsheet with custom news stories, branding, and in-universe ad. This one features custom branding for World Broadcast Network, which is one of the big media corps mentioned but not detailed in the core book. Download the PDF here. And if you end up using this sheet a whole bunch, consider buying me a coffee.
This would be why. You can fire twice with a heavy pistol, but you only have a 37.5% chance of getting through SP11 light armorjack. With four, you have a 76% chance.
The odds of rolling at least two 6's increases between three (7.4%) and four (13.1%) dice.
This is what I used to grab the probabilities: https://www.omnicalculator.com/statistics/dice
I guess posting links to the app would be a good idea.

There are a couple of different options for hosting CPR in Foundry which can be found on the Foundry site:
If you're desperate for a Physical copy try Amazon.com. They've got it with 18% off right now so with shipping, which normally takes about 2 weeks, it's £50.
I would recommend against using the site you linked for creating a character, as it only has Jumpstart Kit content. I would recommend a couple of different methods for creating a character.
If you want to learn more of the nuances of character creation, go through the book and use the character sheets provided by R. Talsorian Games here. There are two different layouts to pick from.
For the super easy way (and no book required), you'll want to use the Cyberpunk Red Companion app. It won't save to an account or anything, but it'll stay on your phone or you can export a PDF of the character you created (or even send it to your GM if they have the app).
Hey thanks for the interest, but in the meantime someone was faster than me with the development of a complete Cyberpunk Red Companion app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.andrewsheridan.cyberpunk_red_companion
And a web version (beta)
And he did a great job, so needles to say i halted my development on RipperdocRed, no need to have 2 of the same apps. ✌️
Alinikov Airburst Rifle - 10 round STQ AR, Knockback targets 2m/yd on hit, BODY 10 (1k)
Factory Law - 10 round EXQ Shotgun that uses SMG DV table, Slugs only, BODY 10 (1k)
Moze 490 Calamity - 10 round PRQ ROF2 Shotgun, Shells only, Can expend 4 rounds to make a 4d6 ROF1 Attack in a 5x5 square area (1k)
Rumbler Gauss Cannon - 8d6, Ablate 3 STQ Sniper Rifle, Needs connected Smartgun Link, One shot only, no aimed shots (5k)
Suzerain - EXQ Double Barrel Shotgun, allows you Needs DV15 Dexterity Check to be able to reload both rounds at once as a Free Action (Active speedware bonus adds up) (1k)
Double Aught Charger - STQ 2045 Satara, Charge up (free Action) ; treated as PRQ Shotgun, Ignores SP8 below, 4d6 if used with Shells and fires both shells together. (1k)
ECH0 Drone - Humanoid Combat drone that can use Shoulder Arms, Handgun, Melee and Brawling, MOVE 6, BODY 10, Needs NET Arch to be able to run (15k)
There is the Tales of the RED that you should also pick up. It's something akin to Tales From the Yawning Portal with various stand-alone missions that you can string together if you wish.
Additionally, I recommend this every time a new player joins the Cyberpunk^(TM) ^((game world not genre lol)) family, download the RED Companion app. You'll want to snag the full version as well at some point.
It's like D&D Beyond but much better and can have you and your table getting characters built and to the table in under 5 mins. Literally. It also provides extensive tools for running your characters, GM-ing the game, etc, but one of the biggest benefits is that it handles all dice-rolls within the app itself, handling all calculations and crunch while showing you what's being rolled and linked. It also handles Ammo and reload management - something that will be a big change over from 5e, unless you run Eberron and/or a setting that uses Firearms.
Cannot recommend it enough, and running it via a Tablet, if you have one, just adds to the world you're diving into.
Welcome to the time of RED choom.
There is a great app that is free to assist you in your build. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.andrewsheridan.cyberpunk_red_companion
I have used it and it's a great tool! How do you feel about Roll20?
It sounds like you may like Get Jiro, written by the sorely missed Anthony Bourdain. It's a comic set in a cyberpunky future where food is dominated by two mega-corps promoting different aspects of cuisine and the titular hero just wants to make the best sushi.
Yep! IP ranges from 0 to 60. Last night I got 20, my BFF got 40, and the other 2 players each got 60. It varies based on week and who went on the craziest adventure ("we" chose to leave the scene to avoid a character from my BFF's backstory)
IP is cool because it can be used to level skills OR to level your Role. You can even multiclass once your Role is high enough!
My biggest recommendation would be to download the Cyberpunk Red Companion App which stores your character data and let's you roll for skill checks but also:
Our GM prefers to use sticky notes and Word files, but our players have slowly transitioned to using the App and now 3 of the 4 players keep track of our characters with it. If you upgrade to the paid version ($5) you also get more lists to reference
As a player I find it is easier to make sense of the game when it's interactive like this
That's totally fine. I do really like the art and the concept of it.
Currently people use stilts for painting and decorating so it's something I could see being used by everyone not just as a "chair".
I think the spider cyberchair does need nerfing and so I personally would balance the rules aspect of these legs differently due to that and to make them an option but not an unbalanced one to everyone, but you do what's right for your game.
These are the lights I use, I will try to take a short video tonight.

Overleaf has a janky interaction between links and account logins. The link above is the correct one. And I only know because I've screwed this up a couple of times myself.
I don't have a good typography overview, but basically display fonts are designed for headings or decorative purposes. "Book" fonts are designed for readability.
If you look at Goggle fonts, for example:
The "Serif" and "Sans Serif" categories have good readable fonts (though not all of them are). The easiest way is to use a commonly used font like Arial, Roboto, Times New Roman, Garamond, etc. Or, use the same font as a book you like (or one that looks the same).
Thanks! I will keep doing smaller changes/updates with time.
The fonts are the two best pixel fonts I could find in google: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Press+Start+2P#glyphs https://fonts.google.com/specimen/VT323
I bought some bloody dice off of Etsy. They're just stained Chessex and I think the shop is running out. You can buy 10 d10 sets and a bunch of d6 straight from Chessex. I almost got the black with red digits for cyberpunk. I'd give you a link, but it looks like their site is down rn. Here's an Amazon link though.
Not HomeBrewery simple, but this Overleaf project nails the look at feel of screamsheets pretty close and is usable without InDesign skills or whatever software people are using to make scream sheets with the official kit. You do have to follow the instructions at the top to get started, but after that should be quick and painless.
If your looking for an easy way to make this look like one of the official RTG screamsheets, check out this project.

There's a web demo here that Atropos hosts, but otherwise there's not a demo version of the application. https://demo.foundryvtt.com/join
If you're not going to self host then some of the hosting partners have free trials: https://foundryvtt.com/article/partnerships/
If you check out TableTop Audio and go to their 'soundpad' section, click on 'future city' and set your own ambient background settings. Perfect for filling empty space. From there, its a little easier to tailor a playlist for events/combat, etc, and not have to worry about your background music going off-mood, etc.
The 2013/2020/Red/2077 setting has never really done personality modules or overlays, but they are a key feature of the genre. The Budayeen Cycle by George Alec Effinger deals extensively with these "moddies" and the implications and consequences of their use. First book in the series is "When Gravity Fails", and this is also the title of the source book RTG did for CP2020 back in 1992. You can find the novels on Amazon, and the Cyberpunk setting book on DriveThru.
Personally, some of the changes to Chipware between Red and 2020 strike me as having been take from the Budayeen cycle, so I wouldn't be surprised to see something like this show up in Black Chrome or another future source book.
First recommendation... Go find a copy of Robin's Laws of Good Game Mastering. It will be more helpful than you can possibly know. - Know your players and what they want from the campaign.
Second, understand probability and dice rolls. Understand the difference between one test at 25% and a series of 5 tests at 25%. There is a time for rolling dice and a time for saying "making you roll can only cause failure which is not the goal here". -Know the system and how probability works in it so you can make it exciting, not frustrating.
Third, this is not your story. It is the players' story. You are here to give them a universe to tell their story in and to allow them to shine. I don't care how cool your idea for Arasaka is... If you railroad the characters and prevent them from succeeding so your bad guy can show off then you are doing it wrong. You can show off your bad-guy or your plans through NPC narrative without giving your players the chance to thwart you... There's a huge difference for the players if they get to the right spot but are moments late and they get to learn things because of it (this is a success, "we got here and learned things!") vs. getting there in the nick of time and then got held up by GM fiat so you can make your NPC look cool (here the players feel like they failed, "we got there and then he was immune to everything we could do and we were useless")
I actually purchased this at gencon and am planning on using it, plus I have my trusty brown grid mat.

I've started fooling around with the Red maps and Gimp. I'm just lost as to how big the cropped bits will print out.. wil they be in scale still etc etc. my photo editing skills are a bit lacking. hurm...
