Something I don't see mentioned here very much is Lacteeze drops. You can put them in regular cow's milk to make it into lactose free (or reduced, depending on how much you use) milk. I also use it in store-bought yogurt. It's much more cost effective than the pills or the Lactaid milk. I still use the pills for cheese and ice cream though. In my dreams i become a lactose free cheese maker though.
i don’t have the packaging anymore but i have the link to them on amazon. they have a pic of the full nutritional facts on there 👍
On top of being dairy free, I'm also allergic to a number of vegetables, including peas, which most vegan/plant-based protein powders contain. So I use collagen-based protein powder. This is the specific one I've been using for about 6 months now, I mostly make smoothies with it.

As for chocolate, I have not tried this myself but recently saw it voted best chocolate on a YouTube video, and they didn’t even know they were tasting milk-free chocolate. No Whey Foods - Milkless Chocolate Bars

I've only tried vanilla but it's been my favorite and I've tried several without much luck.
I really like Ancient Nutrition’s bone broth proteins! Ingredients are pretty clean, and the vanilla and chocolate ones are great IMO 😋

Granted, your symptom could be a result of an issue unrelated to allergies. It would probably be a good idea to see your doctor about it nonetheless

yeah, trace amounts might do it, if you’re highly sensitive to it.
You can make your own dairy free yogurt for pretty cheap! I buy probiotic capsules on Amazon ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071DZQLPQ/ref=cm_sw_r_fm_apa_i_TQ0pEb3HSVT13 ) add 2 capsules to one can of coconut milk, let sit on the counter for a couple of days then refrigerate until you're ready to eat!
