Think I'm gonna go with the Amazon restock, only because I have $350 in gift cards, but thanks for the code regardless!
Hope you enjoy your chair as much as I will :)
Interestingly, the eBay listing you linked for the black racing series being sold by Newedge US is back up to $999. At this particular moment, however, Newedge is also selling the same model on Amazon for $289. Hmmm. Is Newedge up to something shady here?
I am also interested in this! I had a sentinel shipped in today, and the lumbar support pillow is way too stiff. I thought it was in my mind until I used the softer U-shaped neck pillow on my lower back, and omg, it felt perfect.
I'm thinking about purchasing the Everlasting Comfort 100% Pure Memory Foam Back Cushion on Amazon. Free one-day shipping is ideal!
I just got my dx formula last week and bought some padding because people have complained about the armrests.
I bought these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M8F9IYC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They fit like a glove and make the armrests 10 times better imo.
Here's the link I found to the KS11/N on Amazon. Any ETA on when this chair will be available again?
I'm 5'10, roughly 195 lb. I just purchased DOH/DF73/NC from Amazon. It has not shipped yet. Looking for a chair to spend 6-8 hours in, that will support my neck/spine health. I like the style of that one the most. What exactly is the different between Gaming and office? From what I could find, Office is meant for longer periods, is that correct? Just looking to make sure the model I bought will work for me.
Edit: I do enjoy crossing my legs at times. Will that be an issue with this model?
Note the DXRACER official response below and don't void your warranty, that being said.
The video helped me disassemble the chair however just adding grease did not resolve the issue. In the video the rubber grommet is in the wrong place during installation and what isn't shown is that there is a 2nd washer missing, likely at the bottom of the wheel portion. The bearings need to be sandwiched in between 2 metal washers and that is missing in the video.
This part sold though amazon resolved my issue. Follow the instructions that come with the repair kit exactly and it will resolve that popping and clicking issue. If you look at the reviews look at the customer images. the image with the 4 parts is the issue that is happening with your chair.

I'm 6'4", about 200 ib. I spent between 5-10 hours a day in my computer chair and I sit in a lot of different ways; upright, slouched, legs crossed or lifted on something, or sitting on my feet. I've been looking into DX for a long time now and I think I'm going to get one soon, but I'm very disappointed I cant go anywhere to test one first. I tried one at GDC once and loved it, but I'm extremely hesitant to buy one for $300+ before having tried it first, and I've heard about the 20% restocking fee if returned.
Price will factor into my decision a lot. I think it's very unlikely I would (or could) spend $400+, and would ideally like to stay below 300, but I might be persuaded for 300-350 for a perfect fit.
I've read that the side pieces on the seat cushion can press into your thighs and cause discomfort. With all the weird ways I sit, I'd really like to avoid this.
I'm kinda looking at this one, but it's at the upper end of my price range and I'm not sure yet.
That seems to be something in the tilting mechanism. It may be that the spring inside there has lost its lubrication. Try adjusting the tension if the tilting to see if that changes anything. Also to lubercate it I would try a spray lubricant. Like this or anything similar https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00631GSSI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_dhASybSCX03CF
The ones I got were actually a little more expensive: https://www.amazon.com/Office-Chair-Caster-Wheels-Replacement/dp/B01CTIG4GE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1486506089&sr=8-1&keywords=the+office+oasis+caster+wheels
I opted to buy these because of the high number of reviews with good ratings. I figured I already spent $300 on a chair, might as well get a good set of wheels for them. Although the ones you linked above looks pretty good too.
Oh I didn't even consider buying a different type of wheels. Thanks for the information is this the one you were referring too? https://www.amazon.com/SunnieDog-Office-3-Inch-Rollerblade-Replacement/dp/B01CGZPOK2
They are well priced to if this in deed the correct one!
Do you have any referral coupons? I'm looking at this chair.
Hey man I fixed my DX Racer's clicking noise by replacing the bearing and washers. My washers had dents in them from where the bearing sat and was causing some looseness in the assembly. Cost me 9 bucks on amazon.

/u/DXRacer this is a very common issue on many of your chairs. Why do you guys give the people the run around? Send them a rubber washer, 3 metal washers, a bearing, and a retaining clip and call it a day.
I am 6'1 and 175lbs. I was looking into the drift series specifically this one (https://www.amazon.com/DOH-DF73-NW-Ergonomic-Executive/dp/B017HKFDMU/), but I am conerned I might be a little too tall for it. What do you think? I guess the racing series would fit my dimension the best, but I dont like the white and black pattern that one has and i need white and black to match my build. Another I just started looking into today was the classic series (http://www.dxracer.com/us/en-us/product/1/office_chairs/classic_series/oh-ce120-nw-ft/)
Some advice would be nice as I am looking to buy a chair asap. Thanks.
u/DXRacer ; Hello, what would your recommendation be for someone 5'6" ~220lbs. I would be in the chair 4-8hrs each night and would be looking to get the additional foot rest as well.
I have a standard sized desk with my computer and a TV mounted 7' from the floor, so I would be using the leanback/tilt often while using my consoles or casting TV.
I feel constrained in my current 'office chair' http://www.amazon.com/Lorell-Executive-High-Back-Chair-Fabric/dp/B000Q5XTE8?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage that I got in 2012.
Thank you for your input!
I've had this issue and ended up narrowing it down to the casters being garbage. I picked these up on Amazon to test my theory and found them to eliminate the noise while being sturdier than the stock casters (no wobble or anything). I would suggest either picking these up for under 20 bucks and trying it out--- or contacting support to ask for new casters.
Im six feet tall and a little on the heavy side. I have had two Ikea desk chairs in the past. Both of which flatted out over the course of two years to the point where im practically sitting on a piece of wood. Out of these two chairs which do you prefer. (excluding Price) I need a chair that wont flatten out, an will feel nice.
or
could give those a try if you don't want wheels but it looks like it would be roughly the same height as wheels.
This is not the most aesthetic choice, but I bought this Queen sized blanket (extremely soft), and folded it a bunch of times into the size of a seat cushion. It's relatively thick, but provides the perfect amount of padding for a leap chair. I love the combination of medium/ soft cushion + excellent lumbar support. Not sure how it compares to DX Racer, but it works for me.
Having originally gotten a King series and returned it for the Classic I absolutely recommend the classic. Get the one on the right. The king series is stiff as a rock and has a curve at the top that can be tough on the neck. The classic is a lot more comfy and provides better support for the neck built into the chair. Also, if you get the classic. Get the one with the pullout legrest. It's great.
This is the one you want. I have the black/white version that's the same.
I'm 6'3" about 205 but if I went back to being a fatass the chair would still be great for me.
Had the same issue with their lumbar support, my back ended up hurting after 2 weeks of use. Also tried it without a lumbar support and the back padding is too hard for me. I ended up getting a "Love Home Memory Foam 3D Ventilative mesh lumbar support cushion." Much better lumbar support than dxracer's. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D5J7SL2
I just received my DXRacer chair today so I feel I can answer your question.
I may have a similar build to you. May I suggest the Drifter series. Its not as big as the King series and wider than the Racing series.
I purchased the DX Racer DE63/NBB chair through amazon and the fit to my body type is perfect. I feel like I am sitting in a race car seat the way the back and seat fit around my legs and upper/lower back. There is no issue with my shoulders being pushed forward.
This is the chair I purchased http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ISLV1LU?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00
This is a video review of the chair I bought. This isn't my video but its the same chair https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lohoKjIhXfw
