KAW Valley XL, Stark express grip, and Romeo 5 will fit like a glove in this. Can also fit a fun stick (maybe a couple) in the zippered pocket.

But really, the light is better on the top rail.
My fingers are short and I didn’t like my EP9 until I changed the HG. I tried a Magpul AFG-2 and carved it down progressively until it was just a nub and couldn’t find an ergonomic light/afg setup.
On opening the box with the Protos and picking it up it was so light and simple I thought “shit, did I really spend $60 on this?”
On the gun however it feels great and you won’t notice any flex unless you mount a laser on it.
I've had great success with the aluminum foregrips from Amazon. They're machining is much higher quality than expected. Best part about it is, if it isn't what you're looking for, just return it for free. Here's the one I got: https://www.amazon.com/Ergonomic-Activity-Accessories-Lightweight-Aluminum/dp/B0B7MJH98P/ref=sr\_1\_7?crid=2677E3T025NVL&keywords=mlok+foregrips&qid=1668532506&sprefix=mlok+foregrips%2Caps%2C114&sr=8-7
Thanks for the feedback! I'm pretty sure it's a Feyachi FL14-MB Tactical Flashlight. It certainly matches what I saw on Amazon and the pressure switch I bought for it works (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09BL25JWP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), so that's what I'm going with for now. It's actually pretty darn bright. I really wasn't looking to put something that big on it, but it was only $20 at a LGS (minus a few accessories).

Seems like prices went up after the import clog going on. Good light either way. I would definitely swap the 18650 it comes with for a higher MAH version. I tested the 18650's they come with and some clock in at a low 700mah (though their wrapping says differently)
I have a pair of these 36" Plano cases. They're great and easy to configure. I use one for the EP9 and one for the KSG.
For the Ep9 a lower 1/3 mount will be quite high. Ok for NVG or giraffe necked guys. I was happy with my 503g on a low mount but an absolute co-witness mount is just about perfect for a heads up position and greatly improved the placement of my weapon light.
UTG’s mounts are far better than the included mounts and actually pretty inexpensive.

These are the mlok rails I use in my setup. I’ve used a handful of the multipack polymer and aluminum and haven’t had issue. Is it a particular rail size causing issue?
I'll start with I love the handguard, and think it is an enormous improvement to the overall feel and look of the gun!
The issue I am having, is with a number of the rails I have, there are raised areas- which are supposed to fit inside the mlok channel to support the rail from twisting. The mlok channel on the EP 'Aftermarket handguard seems to be slightly narrower, so those raised edges prevent the rail from sitting flush with the bottom of the hand guard.
The 4th picture down of this, shows that there is a raised part around the screw hole, and that raised part is wider than the channel on the EP Aftermarket handguard. A few other ones have raised spots between the screw holes, which also have the same issue. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VJDX7K8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The polymer rail I mounted now, and the picture from the Amazon link you included, both are completely flat on the side that mounts to the gun, so work great.
Fairly expensive optic for a $450 9mm AR. I run a $30 micro red dot off Amazon. Had one on my CZ Evo Carbine as well. No issues on either setup. RedDot
Not sure if I can link directly to Amazon but I went with this one at about $35. Super bright, 2 batteries, holds a charge well. It's bulky so I use a soft case to transport.
Mounted on the additional EP9 rail the light is angled down close to level with the barrel. I don't use the remote switch; I could never find a good way to attach it. I use the regular push button back on the flashlight.
Just put 100, Winchester 115 Grain FMJ down range through here! She performed like a dream. The cheap flip up sights zeroed in and held in place nicely.
I did put the extra rails on and mounted the flashlight off of the side instead of the top. I didn’t have any problems with it where it was... it looks nicer now. Will def hunt down a better flashlight.
All in all- super happy!

Got the first one and the scope was just crooked. the rails on the sides and the sight on top were obviously off. Returned it and got a new one that was satisfactory. Not perfect but for me it would be fine.
First time using it and I didn't zero it at all but was plinking pop cans from 40ish yards? I'm a bad judge of distance. It's hard to recommend with a side charging gun like the extar because the thumb screws get in the way. But for $60 I'm not sure you could do much better.

i highly recommend the Kaw Valley comp. Everything you can ask for from a compensator.
FieldSport FSI CQB 4 Reticle Red/Green Dot Sight Version 2 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CSXQTV6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_RB7eFbZP3HY45 I got the Holosun 510c , I’ll probably switch out next time I go to range of just for peace of mind
I’ve never seen a FieldSport that looks like that, but if you bought it on Amazon or eBay it may have been someone “borrowing” their brand name. His looks like a Pinty - https://www.amazon.ca/Pinty-Green-Reflex-Different-Reticles/dp/B01EWAAWGU
FieldSport does make a solid optic for $23, though. I prefer a Romeo5 or a Holosun with “shake awake,” but I’ll be damned if the FieldSport doesn’t hold zero like a champ.
