The only way to back up your game is to have the following:
A phone (iPhone or Android)
A PC (with enough memory to where you can make the backup)
A USB cable that can be connected to your phone in order to access the data.
For iPhone users
For Android Users
Use the backup program SyncDroid or any other program & make the changes once you've done so. You can make an unlimited amount of backups, if the HDD memory allows it.
Alternatively: My device - android - data - com.bethsoft.falloutshelther - files, then copy the file 'vault1.sav' to my PC as backup.
I downloaded a saved game. not a hack or anything. played it legitly and paid money and yet got attack after attack ( 6 raider attacks within an hour) fires, radroaches. my luck was unreal.
I think Genymotion should work. I have experience with it since I emulated an S6 to get the rewards from the Hearthstone promotion. It should work with a bit of fiddling around. I've also heard of a program called BlueStack that people like using to emulate F:S, although I don't have any experience with that, so check out both, do your research, etc., until you find one you like.

On the Play Store, there are some apps that can do it for you.
I use this one.
It creates a VaultX.sav.bak in your save folder, and can revert your game to the backup.
