I say if you want to wear only one earring then you should only wear one earring. I like wearing mismatched pairs sometimes, especially f I'm styling all my hair on to one side, like this, I will wear a dangly earring or an ear cuff on one side and a stud on the side with all my hair, sort of like this one. Maybe you can try it this way as a baby set if you don't feel as confidant.

Heels wouldn't be as warm as boots either. You can do any lower cut boot in a more neutral color (black, gray, possible brown) and no matter what sweater color you choice it should still match. I honestly though would think oxfords would go great too and be more formal but not as much as a heel. There are a ton of colors obviously depending on what you are wearing it with but for the all black like pictured the black and white ones would look amazing as another option besides just boots. Any plainer ankle black boots though honestly would go amazing too it depends on your own style.

This outfit is for my engagement photos. We’re taking the photos next Saturday at some funky bars in our area. My budget is like ~$50 for jewelry. I own a gold chain link necklace similar to this currently but I don’t know how that would look when paired with the shoes.
Definitely bring a nice sweater/cardigan for the nights, but it may e quite warm during the day. It does rain a bit in October, so plan for that too. I think the rehearsal dress is good, and something similar but floor length for the wedding would work out. Something similar (and cheaper) to this would work out for the cardigan.

My personal advice is: get a pleated skirt. Just a pleated skirt. Make that the only change in your wardrobe for a week and see what it changes about how you see your style. Definitely not you? Give the skirt to a friend and test out a new item. Really, it could be any item that's outside your comfort zone: a mesh turtleneck, a vest, bell bottoms, etc.

That dress is gorgeous. You can definitely use tape as others have suggested. They also make nipple covers that have tape attached to add a little lift but more coverage than tape alone. Depending on your size you might could try a bra like this one from Amazon as well. Hope this helps!

Everyone keeps saying thigh-high boots and I agree! If you don't have thigh-high ones then even just a regular tall (like riding boot length) heeled boot. Either would look fabulous and sexy but help keep you warm.

I googled & found those as an example of what I mean, but I've seen them literally everywhere. CVS & Walgreens to Target, to Khol's. You could grab some for like 5 bucks.
For on top... if you have a fluffy or fake fur coat that you could wear open over it that would be perfect for new years, cuz festive! If not a long black cardi (worn open) would work well too.
If you're going to be inside for most of the night then you could always just go with a regular nice winter coat (like I have a black fitted pea coat that's butt length and ties like a trench that I would wear over a fancy dress) and then take off once you're at your NYE destination. If there will be a lot of ppl there it'll get hot enough you wouldn't need to keep covered up all night.

I think the main problem is that most dresses look best over a white shirt (even when you Google “dress over long sleeve shirt” 99% of the results show a white shirt). I don’t know what the weather is like there but I’m in Canada and when I go hiking I wear jackets the same style as this
It has tight arms so I don’t have to worry about them being cold (depending on the type of hike, once you get into it you won’t be as cold as you thought)
I also wear leggings because they’re tight and stretchy so I don’t have to worry about mobility, but some jeans work well too depending on how you feel (as long as they have a decent stretch to them and aren’t too tight)
Some people like to wear heavier boots like timbs and others won’t go without running shoes. Personally I wear sock shoes when I’m in a forest because they go above the ankle but also have the same mobility as running shoes.
If it’s cold, vests work great, or a larger jacket if you think you’ll need it. Just make sure all your clothes are easy to move in :)
For hair and makeup I’d stick to a ponytail or even a claw clip, not much to think about and if you want to wear your hair down just make sure you have a ponytail or scrunchie on you in case it gets windy. I usually do a light concealer on any acne, eyebrows, and mascara. If you wanna use foundation to cover eye bags too that’s fine just keep in mind that sweating with a lot of makeup makes some people break out
Obviously though, I’m in Canada so weather and fashion might be different and not apply but I hope I helped and I hope your hike is super fun! :)
