I have tried others and seem to come back to FitBod. I create my own workouts and don't use the AI portion that much, but I like the stats it provides and the setup.
I have used this in the past and liked it: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.maxworkoutcoach.workouttrainer.workouttrainer&hl=en_US&gl=US
Here you go! Keep in mind, it’s a 1” bar, so you need 1” plates to work with it. 2” Olympic plates will not work.
I am used to Personal Training Coach (https://maxtrainingcoach.com/ certificate is expired up to you if you want to visit), here is the link to the app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.maxworkoutcoach.workouttrainer.workouttrainer&hl=en_US&gl=US
I like the app because I can pick a workout (StrongLifts 5x5, Greyskull workout, or make my own). It will auto-add weights to the next workout and auto deload after failing so many times.
I like Fitbod, and right now, I have it set for Muscle Tone and wonder how well it will work. I might go back to Bodybuilding, but I like the Strength-training one. I can't seem to make up my mind.
Olympic bars are 45lbs. There are other types of bars in different lengths and weights. The standard barbell bar uses a 1” diameter bar vs. 2” of the Olympic bars and weighs between 12.5 and 15lbs. Fitbod has yet to add the ability to select which types of bars and plates you own, so it assumes you also have standard bars and not just Olympic bars.
There are many different barbells you can buy. What most people see as the standard 45lb bar is an Olympic bar. You can buy a 12-15lb bar that requires 1” plates vs. the 2” plates of the Olympic bar. These bars are also typically shorter than an Olympic bar.
Everyone's nutrition is different, but I'm eating carbs regularly and supplement protein shakes for protein.
I drink a ton of these (~sugar free):
