My Frenchie LOVES these! They bounce in wonky directions and squeal like a small toy being slaughtered, which my guy considers a plus.
Amazon! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H4BS8VH/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I got her the largest size. She is about 15 lbs.
I love the puppia ritefit harness. It adjusts around the neck and the belly, which is necessary for frenchies. It does have buckles, but the only one that would touch her skin is the one on the belly (you can adjust it to be looser around the stomach so it isn’t tight). I’ve bought several just to have color options, and they are all just as good as the day I bought them.
I found it in T-Shirt form on Amazon, here:
I purchased this custom ID tag on Amazon and after 3 months, it shows no sign of wear. Vibrant color and cute! Highly recommend.

My 5 y/o has gone through at least 3 tags. They somehow always end up scraped, bent, letters scratched off. She had a small, metal capsule type kind too, and within a week, the capsule unscrewed and got lost.
My frenchie puppy learned how to use bells for potty time. We got a super affordable training kit from amazon and the seller even provided instructions on how to use them: Zacro Set of 2 Dog Doorbells for Dog Training and Housebreaking Your Doggy DB022 Doorbells with One Clicker and One Dog Waste Bag Dispenser with 15 Count Bags
Good luck!
These have been amazing for my dogs. We have one that’s lasted through an amstaff, an American bully and our three frenchies!
My little man has never had ear infections - they're nice and fully upright so they get nicely aired-out. He's got wax build-up occasionally, but that's about it.
However, my English Bulldog got ear infections occasionally with her more floppy ears, and I grew up with Black Labs in a humid part of the world. I am not unused to ear issues. ;)
So my preferred ear management product is Epi-Otic. I never squirted it in the ear - I'd put a little in a shot glass and soak a Q-Tip in it, and then clean the nooks and crannies with that. If you want to follow up with a dry Q-Tip you can, but it's okay it let it dry in there. But you squirt it in, the dog just shakes it back out. Regular ear maintenance - once the infection is cleared, a few times a week is fine - can keep infections at bay.
But regular ear maintenance is a thing. Also fold maintenance, if yours has significant face folds (that's usually more of an English Bulldog thing). Basically, Bulldogs require a lot of maintenance. My late mother had never spent a lot of time with my Bulldog since we lived halfway across the country. When she got was diagnosed with her cancer, I drove out to help care for her, and brought the dog with me since I didn't know how long I'd need to be there. After the first 10 days or so, my Mom quipped, "Okay, now I know what you do all day - do you ever leave that dog alone?" 🤣
I haven't had this issue with my Frenchie, but did with a previous greyhound. We have him some Fish Oil. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Fish-Oil-Omega-Treats-Dogs/dp/B08QSK1CYF/ref=sr_1_7
If it's persistent, do ask your vet. There could be an allergy to something.
I have this car seat from Amazon in large. When I got it, it was about $80. So the price is super high right now. You could probably fit 2 smaller frenchies in it if they didn’t mind sitting next to each other. It has two leash attachments to clip their harnesses, and the seat belt goes through the base to keep it stable. I like the walls and the thick booster, my pup is happy because she can see out.
She’s 22lbs and fits fine, with lots of space to lay down. Two probably couldn’t lay down well, but maybe. It the price goes down, it’s probably worth trying since free returns at Amazon.
I couldn’t find a better or cheaper option that looked like it would be comfy for her and let her see out the window. It’s held up well, survived a little chewing while she was still a puppy too.
These gloves have been amazing for my two Frenchies 😊
Yes, the Snuggle Puppy. Get one and use it, our girl loved hers when she was a baby. It sounds stupid but really seemed to help her calm down: https://www.amazon.com/SmartPetLove-Snuggle-Puppy-Behavioral-Brown/dp/B000C9YHFS
You're doing the right thing by trying to associate positive things with the crate, keep doing that. Give treats as often as possible in the crate, rub some treats on her crate pad/blankets so the crate smells like treats. Sit next to it with the door open, lure him inside and as soon as he's in do the GOOD BOY OMG GAHHHH YAYYYY performance. Anything you can do to associate the crate with positivity (whether that's food or praise) is a good thing.
For the first month or so, we kept her crate next to our bed so she could smell us while in bed. Luckily she never minded her crate much, but there was a bit of whining the first couple of weeks. I'd just put a finger or two inside the crate so she could sniff my hand, eventually she'd quiet down.
Get a crate cover.
Leave something of yours in the crate - shirt, sweatshirt, whatever - as long as it smells like you.
Don't use the crate as punishment.
Some dogs like the crate, some don't, unfortunately there's no way to know until you try. Good luck!
I have a smaller stroller that’s good for one of them (up to 30lbs), that’s Vivo brand. Then I have a big Jeep brand wagon style stroller (meant for children- maybe over kill lol), for both of them at the same time. I will link the stroller fan Stroller Fan Clip on Fan Rechargeable Battery Operated Fan - Powerful Airflow Low Noise - SWZA Portable Clip Fan for Baby Stroller Travel Hiking Camping (2 Batteries and 1 Reusable Mesh Bag included) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073F7FPN8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_WD4K7MQ82DDC62XVWW2C?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Very welcome, always happy to help out new Frenchie owners 😊 unfortunately Australia sucked in the Amazon range 3 years ago, but I just had a quick search and found some very similar to what we use - I'm actually quite tempted to replace ours! Fabric is best because Frenchies don't look where they're going and prone to slip with their nails lol:
Typically from Amazon! Ours can go through one of the medium sized antlers (5-6in) in about a day. But the larger ones like the one in the link, take him 3-4 weeks.
Thank you for your advice! I should have included a link about what we purchased for the "steps." It's basically a memory foam ramp described as "scalloped." https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006QC1U9G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I love it personally. At first I thought, wow, this is expensive, but after she started using it regularly, I felt it was an excellent buy and purchased another. Your point about tugging is new to me. I noticed that she likes to tug very hard. I'll moderate the tugging and let her win from now on! Appreciated!
Our girl will not eat kibble from a bowl, period. For this reason wet comprises a lot of her diet BUT she goes absolutely nuts for kibble dispensed from a treat ball. It took a couple weeks for her to learn how to use it, but we have one similar to this: https://www.amazon.com/Aritan-Interactive-Dispensing-Non-Toxic-Cleaning/dp/B07MK1SCC7/ref=mp_s_a_1_17?dchild=1&keywords=Treat+ball&qid=1594988358&sr=8-17
I don't know how practical that would be for a crate, though.
You’re already winning! Mine usually won’t even go #1! I have this one which is good because it’s not as tight around the chest area. But she hates the hood. I have just gotten a huge golf umbrella and keep it over her.

It comes in a bunch of colors too! And it folds up nicely to tuck away.
We got these. The reason we got this model is we tried one of the collapsable version and it just didn't seem sturdy enough and would shake a little more than we were comfortable with.
They work well enough, but we had to put a small rug under them so they wouldn't slide on our hardwood floors. It took a few weeks of conditioning to make our frenchie comfortable with them after they slid on him the first time, but now he's using them constantly.
You might consider getting 3 or 4 step models just to play it safe.

I just bought these last night. The price tag is a little high, but I thought I'd give it a shot. If not, I'll return them and check out the kind you suggested. Thank you! :).
Any tips for training your dog to use them? Or did they just do it on their own?
We use Puppia in an XL for our 30lb frog. It is great for walks, we put it on when going outside
Puppia Authentic RiteFit Harness with Adjustable Neck, X-Large, Royal Blue https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KCLFUUC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_NS6XzbP8SGSM1
For my adult frog, he wears a Puppia harness and we attach him to a seatbelt contraption that hooks to his harness. I don't need my 33 lb dog becoming a projectile that would get hurt or hurt us in case of an accident.
At 15 weeks, peeing in the car was a big concern so we put the dog in something like this lined with pee pads.

duke would destroy most chew toys he got a hold of until we made this purchase of a firehose material toy. He can't break it and he loves it
It wasn't the official GoPro one, but here's the link to Amazon UK.
