I'll add what others have said if you can unzip covers add a thin layer 1/2 -1inch high density memory foam. They come in sheets you can cut or memory foam filler like this.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DR5GDIC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_lfNcGbTH56CAQ?psc=1 The dacron idea in previous comment will work as well. If you can't unzip covers go to upholstery pro to seek best options for that fabric.
How about something like this:

Almost gives an icecube look.
You should be studying Industrial Design. Realistically, anyone can design and build a chair but Industrial Designers are trained to compile anthropometric data, material science, structure/aesthetics to design all types of products. Granted, chairs are relatively simple compared to other products but good design is good design regardless of scale or complexity. I would read up on some of the Industrial Design canon. I'm a fan of Donald Norman for a good introduction and healthy arguments about form vs function. Try "The Design of Everyday Things" or "Living With Complexity".
Okay, all of the ones I could find were so expensive but here's the cheapest one I could find of an actual sofa: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Ashley-2710339-Zeth-Queen-Sleeper-Sofa-with-Fabric-Upholstery-3-Loose-Seat-Cushions-and-Upgraded-Mattress-in/45797599 . And happy new year of the rooster to you as well!
Sadly, you may be waiting a long time to find one even used. Other option just a suggestion is look for a rattan similar cabinet and paint it that green color. Like this one.
reproduction but for $150/chair I don't see you finding anything authentic unless you luck out on facebook marketplace or craig's list. https://www.amazon.com/Modway-Fathom-Mid-Century-Plywood-Natural/dp/B007QUKZSY/ref=sr_1_36 definitely comfortable and mcm
You won't be able to get a good new one that fast. Look on local FB marketplace for the sofa & even for an old metal full size folding bed with wheels. Just get a good mattress cover for it. Other option if you have the space? Just get a metal folding bed frame or quick build metal one & mattress from Amazon. Like this, see links. Temporarily for this time & return them within 30 day window. While you keep looking for a new sleeper sofa for the future. Just make sure both are shipped & sold by Amazon. Just a thought for your dilemma.

Totally acceptable to have different wood tones and colors - at the end of the day it’s about what you like and think looks good!
Other options: You could try to find some cheaper nightstands and then refinish them to match the dresser color.
You could do a mixed wood nightstand that has white and some wood tone similar to the dresser to try to tie thing together or again only refinish the drawer front or top of the nightstand and leave the rest white or black.

I didn't even realize how little the weight capacities are for xl daybeds. SO far I've found one from amazon (https://www.amazon.com/JULYFOX-Platform-Headboard-Construction-Unerneath/dp/B07FBL3SBL). It has drawers underneath. You'd think there would be more daybeds in general that would hold heavier weights....
OP's bout to have some competition because that is a beautiful piece of furniture.
Kidding I'm not moving for another year at least, but this is beautiful. Also following.
With a little diy the following might be not too far off - litfad seems to have decent prices - I can't say the following links are of decent quality but they have some similarities
Things you'll have to paint - the following would be a good base to use:
interesting but TrustPilot makes resellerratings look like a scam. Seems as if it's possible they try to get Lovesac and other companies to pay them and if they don't they only post bad reviews. https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.resellerratings.com
Came here with the same exact question! I've noticed that many brands on Modsy are either whitelabeled or "Modsy house brands" so you can't find any reviews or information on google or otherwise comparison shop which is kind of sketchy.
I found this - https://www.trustpilot.com/review/scoutandnimble.com
Could this be the same company I wonder?
I'm comparing the two as well. Based on reviews I'm leaning towards Home Reserve. Lovesac is priced well above Home Reserve but their reviews are terrifying. I don't have the patience to deal with a company that doesn't stand by their product. https://www.resellerratings.com/store/Lovesac https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.lovesac.com
>Standard King Frame
I am sorry, but I am still confused. This is the King bed frame I am looking at, but it is 75.5 inches wide. So it would not fit onto the headboard I have that is 79.5.
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B087P6SRJ4/ref=twister\_B09VC3BDG7?\_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
You could possibly use these -
I have used similar stuff on book shelf speakers.
You could use an aquarium stand. It should hold the weight but it might not be much cheaper than the pedestal.
Cheaper - https://www.amazon.com/VASAGLE-Nightstand-Adjustable-Bedroom-Industrial/dp/B074WNTK3Q
better match - https://www.amazon.com/Landen-Aquarium-Terrarium-Leveling-Contemporary/dp/B089WKK4VK
Had good luck with my 'Zinus' brand frame. Here's a similar style - could just leave the headboard off. Alternatively - can't imagine anything much easier to DIY? Four finished boards, screw some cross beam supports into the inside, put mattress support boards in?
Just put a black grain wood veneer over the drawer faces.
Obviously not a duplicate, but I didn't think this chair was so bad: https://www.amazon.com/ELUCHANG-Mid-Century-Armchair-Assembly-Apartment/dp/B08WXFNCG5/ref=sr\_1\_22?crid=1JE2H98YJWDUA&keywords=chair&qid=1656638274&rnid=2941120011&s=home-garden&sprefix=chair%2Caps%2C140&sr=1-22&ufe=ap...
I have no idea if it would soften...it was so incredibly hard that I think its just that way by design. They told me that the latex versus others was a function of changes in the bounce, and if memory serves, they said the latex would feel more natural and comfortable.
As for the height...it just did not feel like a natural height. It felt like it was an inch or two too high, probably because you couldnt sink into the cushion at all. It felt very abnormal....meanwhile, the back cushions were too low....so the whole thing just felt awkward. And stiff.
We got this one instead, for 1/3 the price...and we're very happy with it.

Bought a nice reversible sectional from Rivet, apparently an Amazon brand. Hasn't worn over the years and fits comfortably in many living room setups. Tried this after sitting on an ungodly amount of couches at West Elm, Living Spaces, etc and we're glad we got this one!
Looking for a sectional that looks like this that we can ideally see in a store (NJ/NY area). This would be used regularly in a family room so it would be nice to check it out in person first
The extra ottoman is nice but not vital, mainly we like the long & wide chaise and the deep cushions and the look of this particular piece.
If we do have to end up ordering online, we would like to at least find something with lots of reviews and customer photos to try to get an idea of quality and comfort level. Did find this particular one with some more reviews in a different color but not enough
We’d really appreciate any help in tracking down our ideal sectional!

Gotcha. They make them for the entire edge too. You can get it in clear, black, white, grey, etc.
Definitely agree not to sand it because you might hit the particleboard/mdf under the veneer layer!

https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.ekornes.dk
I read it from here, so I’m slightly nervous to pull the trigger. One of the negative points stressed on these reviews:
Bad customer service in the US (of course, the company is headquartered in Norway and they can’t really send parts Amazon style);
Lack of durability in the foam
parts failing.
I have reported this company on Instagram as well as to their vendor Shopify and PayPal. This is a HUGE scam ring, check out one of their vendors and their reviews:
https://www.trustpilot.com/review/inspirelf.com
They are running by these company names:
HAD TECHNOLOGY HK LIMITED
Meledo Company Limited
WAREHOUSE OF POVISON
HIGHWILD INC. 1900 PROFORMA AVENUE SUITE A ONTARIO,CA 91761,USA
Essentially the idea is to copy a popular product on Instagram, get a merchant account approval through Shopify/PayPal and then a really generic template website running. Process $10,000s and tell customers "lead time is 8-12 weeks because of COVID" blah blah.. allows them about 2 months to run their scam site cashing out all the way without shipping a single legit item.
The best option would be to lookup the UL file with the e number. It would provide you the manufacturer however this e number does not return any results. If the company was still active using their file number it would for sure pop up.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08BY8S9WX/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_4?smid=A3MXV3BRX5P67N&th=1
I suspected as much about the comfort of the FRIHETEN, but these two both hit a middle ground that's really tough to find in furniture stores. This is for a rec room, not the living room, so I'm not really interested in spending $2k on it. I don't really want to spend $1k on it, but it's starting to look like I won't have a ton of choice if I want anything that isn't a futon.

We have this and really love it - super sleek, although not like the Thuma visually, but goes well with almost anything. Easy to set up, sturdy, and very affordable.

This is a gray microfiber tufted 3 piece sectional with ottoman. Very similar to this one, see link, but it looks more modular in your photo so not exact. The style is a tufted mid century look with wide square wooden legs. Typically the legs are taller and round or metal for a more contemporary modern look.

I always replace those things with hex heads so I can torque them to hell. They are usually 16mm M8-1.25 bolts.
Suggestion 1: I have this bed frame from Amazon. It is really quick to set up. All metal. No wood. Don't need a box spring.
I hope you were just kidding about setting it on fire. The paint probably wouldn't stand up to flames super good.
Suggestion 2: get a high quality mattress cover. Keeps bugs out and can be washed to keep things extra tidy in bed.
Suggestion 3: If you literally do live in a barn, go to Home Depot or Lowes and buy some diatomaceous earth. It is next to the ant killer. It won't hurt you or other animals. (Just try not to breathe in the dust. It can irritate the lungs,) spread that shit around. It kills bugs by drying out the waxy coating on their body, then they get dehydrated, and die.
buy or rent this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01635K1AO then put all the pieces in one room. seal off all the air vents and close the door. turn it on and leave for work. do not stay in the house. do this daily for a week. your smells should be gone. if you have pets do not do this.

If you haven’t already bought one of those, wayfair in general has ripoff prices. In my experience anything that wayfair sells can be bought, as an identical but likely differently-branded item, elsewhere for cheaper.

(more seriously, look in to blackout curtains for your room)
Appreciate the input. Definitely not something I can make 😂
I’ve also seen this set on multiple sites and it’s obviously quite cheap. Is eucalyptus cheap and/or not strong? Assuming that’s part of the reason for the cheap price point
Here is another option while you wait for your bed frame. To get your mattress off the floor you could order this from Amazon & return it in 30 days. By that time your frame may come. Just make sure it's shipped & sold by Amazon not a third party seller. Just an idea.
It looks like the holes are pre-drilled underneath the fabric, you might try poking a hole to make them bigger if you're having trouble threading them in.
As for which one of those screws is the correct one I'm gonna go with "neither". Those are hex bolts, you need a flat head. (I'm assuming they told you the size to purchase?)

This is an example of the right type of screw:

I think your best bet would be searching for "tiffany style" lamps. Add "sconce" for the wall ones, and probably "pendant light" for the hanging one.

I have been using this stand that I purchased off of amazon for the last year. I was really impressed with the fit and finish during assembly. I have a 60" mounted to it and have nothing but good things to say about it. The convenience of being able to move it around to accommodate the optimal viewing angle from the living room, dining room and kitchen is so nice. I actually am disappointed now if I am somewhere where I don't have a perfect straight on view of the TV. The internal cable routing keeps everything on the ground and mostly out of sight, even on the back. Also, the wheels are very impressive. They appear to be too small and hard, but I have a very deep pile, shag rug and they roll across, on and off of it with ease. My only regret is I noticed they are now selling it in white, which would match better with my decor than the black one I currently have.
You should take a look at how the metal bracket is attached to the wood portion of the bottom of the sofa. If it can simply be unscrewed, I would consider finding a like leg and bracket attachment. Amazon has lots. Make sure it’s a similar shape and stain. Also make sure it’s solid wood. This is all assuming there is no solution through Wayfair.

When I compare it to a similarly priced couch by Rivet (also an Amazon Brand) that lists theirs as top grain, the closeups of the leather look similar. Am I missing something?
You can buy a really good leather reclining sectional starting at around $4k on each side of the sectional for an L-shape sectional. And that's for power recline with top grain leather where you sit and PU on the sides and back. Anything lower than that for similar items, the sectional is either on clearance or the manufacturer has cut some corners on the material.
Power recline+headrest on each side of an L-shape sectional can go to 4.5k~5k with console.
10k to 13k are definitely made in USA, branded products prices and most likely top grain leather all over. You're paying for a luxury product with that luxury price tag.
Leggett and Platt reclining mechanism is great. They are well known for their quality. Call these retailers and ask what mechanisms they use, if they use Leggett and Platt then you're off to a good start. Okin electric motors is great, you won't hear the reclining noise.
Here is what I offer on Amazon, you can follow my bullet points and description as a buying guide.
Depending on where you live, I would shop locally. Look for local furniture stores with 4.5+ star google reviews, they usually have good stuff.
If you are spending over $7k on a reclining sectional, you better be getting power recline, headrest, lumbar, 100% leather all over with console. I can custom make you a fully decked out 100% leather reclining sectional for less, all day long.
Hope this helps!

However, I should mention that my computer isn't far from it. The desk is wood and the office chair is black.
I had already thought about matching, and to be honest, I couldn't really decide either way what would go better.
I should mention though that the vinyl chair is available in other colors, such as white, as well as in velvet, in blue, black, and white.
My primary concerns though are comfort, durability, and ease of maintenance.

These are the ones I have and they’ve been great so far. I totally agree with u/ms_watermelon, I like buying high-end stuff for furniture items that I need to be comfortable. But if it’s just an aesthetic item, then I can buy a cheaper one that looks similar without any real issues
I think its HDPE (High Density Poly Ethylene)--I think the durability should be pretty solid all things considered.
You're right, and I agree. I'm more in the styling camp of Loll--though polywood has a modern version of the adirondack that is--well its somewhat transitional.
The issue I've found right now is that both manufacturers are underwater with volume/supplies and the lead for Loll is 15 weeks direct from them and 5-6 through Crate and others--at least 5-6. They're so bad off that polywood is enlisting engineers to do customer service (they have an alert on their home page).
This was the only neutral colored somewhat modern-ish Adirondack I could get before November: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079Y5FVKR/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
