I think a 5% cap for offers under $10k for the first few hours could be sensible.
And also a reminder to everyone that this exists: https://www.pushbullet.com/channel?tag=kickfurther - install the android app, or desktop extension, and you'll get a push notification when there's a new offer. I've never missed a new offer :).
We do want to make an app but it is not our priority right now. One of the big benefits of an app is the push notifications. One of our users created a PushBullet channel if you're interested in getting push notifications to your phone for new offers: https://www.pushbullet.com/channel?tag=kickfurther
As for different payment methods, our top priorities right now are allowing you to link your bank for deposits and withdraws, as well as PayPal support. I'm excited to say we're very close to being able to release these new payment options.
I do like the idea of 24 hours notice TBH.
We don't have official SMS alerts (I'd have to look into how to implement that), but one of our users created a PushBullet notification channel which you can subscribe to. Just download the PushBullet app on your phone and/or computer and subscribe to our channel: https://www.pushbullet.com/channel?tag=kickfurther
It works by scanning our offers page every minute, so you should get notified within 60 seconds max of an offer going live.
I have a cronjob that checks for new offers every minute by loading the new offers page, and parsing the html. If a new offer is found, an api call is made to pushbullet to send a notification.
I've built similar systems before, and pushbullet seems to work fairly well to send out notifications since users can install the extension, and have notifications sent to their browser, phone, etc. A native app with notifications would be pretty nice too, but I'm sure that would take a bit more development time :).
edit: Here's what it's currently publishing to. I'd be happy to send you the api key so you can publish to the channel if that would be easier. I'm building a docker based cron service, so this is working fairly well as a test case right now, but faster notifications would be great.
