If you do a quick skim of the article, the name of the book in question isn't obvious. For those interested, the book is called Freak Kingdom: Hunter S. Thompson's Manic Ten-Year Crusade Against American Fascism, and here's a link to it on Amazon.
My only regret is it’s one sided so the other side is sort of a see through pale mirror image of the printed side. You can probably find a two-sided flag if you look hard enough.
Thanks so much for all the interest everyone! I've decided to run a free ebook promotion on Amazon.com. So my book will be free starting June 17th for the next five days! Please remember to give it a review and rating once you finish!
Thanks so much everyone!

Good luck finding a copy of Scanlan's with Kentucky Derby. I've seen it on ebay a few times but always miss it. It's not printed alone anywhere, unfortunately. It's right up there on my ultimate collection wish list along with a Steadman/Thompson signed Curse of Lono.
If you like it you should checkout the audio version: https://www.amazon.com/Thompsons-Kentucky-Decadent-Depraved-Explicit/dp/B00786YAXM. It's done with music and Ralph actually plays himself which is cool.
Speaking of audio versions, the Fear and Loathing adaptation Margaritaville Records put out in the 90's is really good. You can listen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhdP1180GJY or you can find copies pretty cheap on ebay.
Sigmund Freud is all over ebay for under $40.
Publishing is all about money. I don't think anyone is begging for new editions of more well known Gonzo books let alone his obscure works only Steadman fans would know. I didn't know a lick about Steadman until I watched his documentary with Johnny Depp and read The Joke's Over. That's what really turned me on to him as an artist beyond Fear and Loathing.
By the way abebooks.com has a few Still Life with Raspberry in acceptable condition for under $150.
The Criterion Collection version of Fear and Loathing has his commentary. I highly recommend it.
Have all of you goddamn heathens read The Kitchen Readings?
If not, do. Killer anecdotes from his friends and neighbors.
