Doubtful. The trigger guards do not look similar. This one will fit though - and Amazon has it cheaper than the one you were looking at too. https://www.amazon.com/LaserLyte-Laser-Taurus-Slim-Pistol/dp/B00GVFEZ18
Depends upon who you're trying to protect it from. I'm personally a big fan of safes that don't require batteries.
Costco has a great return policy, too: http://www.costco.com/.product.100142032.html
There's also a brand that has a mechanical lock where you can push two buttons at the same time, but I can never find it by googling for it. I think it's called "gun vault" but it's not the gun vault brand so it's impossible to find.
There's also this: http://vlineind.com/Products.php?category_id=1

Highly recommend! I have a scar on my left arm from this watches simpler brother haha straight up filet-ed me in a motorcycle wreck. Watch was fine. My arm was not lol
I used a wiregear sight pusher that I bought off amazon. I think it’s a similar tool to the one you suggested and it worked like a charm.
MidTen 9mm Bore Sight Cal Red Dot... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GGWJSJ6?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I bought this one. It's nice. Only complaint I have is that it has no off switch. So if you want it off, you take the batteries out. Other than that, just know that it has little silicone dots to keep it centered in the barrel, so you have to poke it out of some guns when you are done.
I use this one from Amazon , it is even 'tactical'.
Spring Creep generally requires either passing a permanent deformation point (shouldn't be happening in a magazine regardless) or if the temperature is raised.
It can happen, but unless you're keeping a black safe out in the summer sun, it shouldn't be a major concern.
I bought a universal holster from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09KZT9NPZ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details. Or one similar to it if it's not available. It fits my Sar9 and my XD-M .40 pretty well.
get this Cheap ass amazon holster. I carry in it and it works like a $60 holster i bought last year. doesn't scratch my gun and it's smooth asf. if not then Glock 43x will serve you well.
Super easy to take off and put on with a vise when compared with a PMM comp that need red loctite. That shit difficult to deal with. You don’t necessarily need a vise but it makes the installation and removal seamless as well as decrease the chance of you marring up the slide, barrel or comp

I use this one. It's nothing fancy, but the labels work great. If I expect the magazine to see really heavy use, I'll put some packing tape over the label was well, for extra adhesion.
No worries. It’s a speed loader. Works well with a little bit of gun oil.

Best advice I can give, is to go to your local gun range, rent a booth for 1-2 hours and ask them that you are looking for a home defense handgun, they should allow you to rent out a few options. Find which one feels comfortable and is in the range of ($300-600) anything more is not necessary and anything below is starting to get to poorly made guns that malfunction.
I use a Sig Sauer P320 for home defense. It holds 17 rounds and I strap a streamlight flashlight on it. It's very similar to a Glock 19. 9mm or 45cal. Sigs, Glocks, Springfields, CZ are all reliable manufacturers that I would stick too. All have pros and cons. Some have manual safeties and others have no safety switch at all.
Whichever one you go with, make sure you take the time to practice shooting it. Get skilled at grouping your shots. And buy hollow point rounds to keep loaded in the gun when it's at home. Practice shooting normal FMJ rounds. Hollow point rounds have a concaved tip which allows them to break apart easily and not penetrate through multiple walls and into the neighbors house.
Get a Pink Rhino or similarly priced laser cartridge and pair it with the free version of Laser Academy by MantisX using their free-to-print targets that you print on card stock. You’ll get plenty of mileage out of this setup for cheap and you can add in more options and cost down the road.
Sig P320C-9, here's a few more pictures: Link
I think this happened during normal use, I've shot about 300 rounds with it so far. According to Sig's FAQ: "Finish wear on the barrel and frame rails is normal and to be expected".
Easiest fix would be to hit them with one of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JSAE0ZY/ Not permanent, but good.
If it’s a uniform dovetail, you could just flip the sight around so the dots are facing forward.
Best case, if you want something permanent, is to purchase a new rear sight. It’s cheaper than you’d think. Most of the “black out” sights have some serrations to diffuse glare while shooting. Without knowing which gun you have it’s tough to make a recommendation, but the best first place to look for these would be Dawson Precision.
I use the StealthGear Mini Revolution IWB at 4 oclock when I ride offroad or street. I don't carry on the track. I tried appendix and it's super uncomfortable with the tank pressing against it. Especially when jumping and turning hard around rough corners, appendix carry is not friendly to stomach and your little guy down there.
As for secure/not falling off, I can say I've taken some nasty crashes offroading and it's never been a problem. I've landed on it and it hurt like hell, thought it went off on me or even destroyed the gun once because of the pain, but all was ok, except for major bruising on my hip.
I like the Revolution because in the summer, it gets hot as hell in the desert and it's one of the coolest holsters I've used. Whether you're carrying appendix or some other position, if you're offroading, you will encounter chaffing/blisters from all the movement, and your undershirt doesn't always stay tucked. This will be your best friend. It sticks better than sports tape when you're all sweaty. One last note, my Crossbreed lost a lot of friction and if I do like a handstand, it would fall out of the holster. Take a heatgun and press it in a little for firmer retention. That worked. If you want better retention, do that for peace of mind.
I would recommend the below two items:
The light+laser is often overlooked... but assuming your dad is a novice (or out of practice) shooter and that he may not go to the range much, it is very helpful to have something on the gun that lets him:
380 is 380. grain is the weight of the bullet, doesn't change the dimensions.
do yourself a favor and get some snap caps (like this, you can also find them at any gun store)
exact dimensions of a normal cartridge, but inert metal.
use them to figure out how to load a magazine, rack the slide, eject a chambered round and lock the slide back, etc. don't practice that shit with live rounds.
you can pull the trigger (dry fire) with a snap cap in the chamber. you generally don't want to dry fire with a completely empty chamber, it can damage the firing mechanism. some firearms are more resilient to it than others, but a good rule of thumb is to only dry fire if you've got a snap cap chambered.
you should still follow all safe handling procedures (trigger discipline, safe direction, etc) even with snap caps. especially as a new gun owner, for extra safety you should not have any live ammunition within arm's reach while working with snap caps.
https://www.amazon.com/Acorn-Pistol-Holsters-pack-Safe/dp/B004GZ96VO/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=acorn+pistol+holster+-+5+pack+for+gun+safe&qid=1623811780&sr=8-1 I have everything from Ruger Security Six to Sig 226 in these on my safe door.
I use this range bag for a lot of the gear like main and backup ear/eye protection, case catcher, various tools to take down/clean, boxes of rounds if shooting in doors, hat, gloves, mini-first aid kit.
I use this Pelican V-300 with custom foam insert for the handguns and most of the mags. Holds up to 5 guns + 18 mags, or 3 guns, 20 mags, two lights, and a knife. Really like the insert and glad I spent the money on it, I found it to be expensive at $68.98 delivered but it just works well, is good quality, and makes organizing really easy.
Dried oil, reoil. I have a rack in my safe for my hand guns so they only sit on 2 points instead flat on the sides. Something like this.
I did not get one specific for the Sar9. I got a cheap one that’s got a reversible clip on Amazon. Just had to trim some of the threads.
Depring Concealed Carry Holster Carry Inside or Outside The Waistband for Right and Left Hand Draw Fits Subcompact to Large Handguns https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075M2HMV8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_BDVYVD3QR44B11DGHNWY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Racking the slide a million times will only make the gun better as the metal friction points smooth out and the gun breaks in.
Dryfiring is perfectly acceptable and encouraged. Most dedicated shooters dry fire far more than they live fire. You can use snap caps or a cheap laser cartridge to be extra safe (if you're so inclined) or just to make dryfire training a bit more interesting.

I use a fine tip silver sharpie to number all mine on the floorplates. Stays on forever, but comes off in seconds with acetone if you ever need it to. The only reason I use a fine tip is so I can make the numbers small.

The center white dot is registered by the laser cartridge hitting it. Only lights up if you hit that center dot.
That about covers it!
I have pretty entry-level tools but I take care of them and they’ve held up surprisingly well. I use this bench block — really nice, and it’s magnetized inside which give it an advantage over a sideways roll of duct tape. These punches are dirt cheap but do the job well. Another thing I’d recommend for the toolbox is a good precision screwdriver set, especially one that includes hex and torx bits - that’s probably my most-used tool. I’ve got a big one in the toolbox and a small one in the range bag. OP I’d suggest hitting up Harbor Freight for a precision kit and some small pliers, they’re wildly affordable. You might also want to consider a 3-4” vice, they come in pretty handy as well.
Hmm. Well... Gun cleaning mat? Patches? These aren’t super quality but I keep one in my range bag. Has come in handy several times:
Real Avid The Gun Tool (Silver/Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004N18DFG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_mqEUFb8PCWNM6
It really depends on how much security you are looking for. This Amazon basics safe is perfect for keeping my handguns out of reach of my kids.
Not so good for fire/water/burglary protection though
Couple random thoughts... based on recent experiences and emails with Dawson and Ameriglo (I’ve been tinkering cuz I’m bored during quarantine) ballpark a 0.01” diff in front sight height = 1” POI diff at 10 yards.
You could also look up or measure your factory sights (with something like this) then try to match those specs with whatever you’re replacing them with.
I have this one from Amazon. Works well. I use it with a full size pistol, 4 mags, generally 4-6 boxes of 9mm ammo (but could fit plenty more), hat, eyes, over ear protection, bunch of foam ear plugs (I double up), multi-tool, mag loader, tape, staple gun, bore snake, toothbrush, and a small can of cleaner just in case, etc. I also have a med kit with a couple chest shields, couple of the big steryl bandages, blood clotter, scissors, tourniquet, and a few other things. You don't NEED all that stuff, but if you continue shooting you will end up with everything listed and probably more. And this bag isn't huge or anything. I feel like it's just the right size, but, a lot of them are this same or similar size.
Plus it's nice to have extra room in case you get a second pistol, or just room for a big water bottle, stuffing a sweatshirt into, or whatever.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WSKR1TY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_EoITEbNQH6332
There are no real straps to secure the gun, I just put it in a little zip up pistol case of it's own, and then in the bag. That case acts like a little mat for the bench too which is nice.
Picture of the pistol case...
Sit in quiet room and see if you can hear a very faint ringing noise in your ear. If you can, then you've done some damage to your hearing.
On a side note, instead of telling you how bad you've screwed up (Honestly, not the bad. Just don't do it often), let me give you a suggestion on a set of ear buds that will probably work better for you than big sweaty clamping ear muffs. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004DH65RI
They have a stopper that you can pull for when you need to listen to someone talk. Not meant to be left out when shooting, but it'll still provide some type of protection if you happen to forgot to push the stopper back in.
This is a really nice weapon light and very affordable for what you get, I just got one and love it. There is also a 1200 lumen version.

This is my 2-faced Smith and Wesson 69, I polished half of it and it took WAY longer than i thought to acheive this polish. I thought i'd do it by hand but after spending hours getting nowhere i decided to take a buffer wheel and attach it to a powered screw driver with my Mothers Polish and i used their billet polish too for an even finer shine. It's a pain in the ass to do by hand but do-able i guess

WHAT! I love that smell.
I wouldn't say that out loud to many people you don't trust. They make air fresheners of that smell because people love it so much!!

Another option is the 3M Peltor muffs. Depending on your head shape you may find they fit better than the Howard Leight's (that was the case for me).
I have a lot of ear plugs, these are my favorite for shooting: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001V2SS9G

Never seemed to last for me, and if I overdid it, it seemed to gum up.
Remington Dry/Teflon lube is what I have using lately and I really like it
Aliengear makes a good OWB and IWB holster for the p2022 and its pretty cheap. You can also get a paddle retention holder cheap off of amazon and it works well for occasional carry.
adding the grip just made it easier to hold, it went from being too small to feeling perfect and the grip is only about 2mm thick. it's still very easily concealable. here's a link to it: http://www.amazon.com/Hogue-Rubber-Handall-Small-Sleeve/dp/B000H6GZI8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1436362481&sr=8-2&keywords=ruger+lc9+grip

I have a Barska Biometric Safe and I've been happy with it. Battery lasts and I haven't had any issues.
If you go biometric, make sure it can store at least 30 fingerprints. Program thumb and perhaps first 2 or 3 fingers on each hand, and at different angles to make sure you can always open it if needed.
Unless I am not seeing it correctly, it is just the anti-seize grease that you are seeing.
New Glocks come from the factory with a an anti-seize copper grease. Leave it in place and let it wear off naturally. You could also scrub it all off and start with a clean gun, but personally I'd leave it on like the factory intended.
For reference here is something similar.
