There's actually a website (almo st certain it's called 23andme) where they send you a DIY DNA kit and you send it back to see where your lineage lies. My brother-in-law's dad did it and it came back that he's like 2% neanderthal or something. I think the highest anyone has ever gotten/can get was/is 5%. It's why some people have a very distinct protruding brow line.
Edit: Yeah it is: https://www.23andme.com
If you like reading try reading this. Overcoming Unwanted Intrusive Thoughts: A CBT-Based Guide to Getting Over Frightening, Obsessive, or Disturbing Thoughts https://www.amazon.com/dp/1626254346/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_R3W18AN34M5BH0RC7ZSB
It’s also available on audible if you would rather listen. And I know it seems like a lot of work to read or consume media about your thoughts but if they are impacting your life in anyway, it’s best to understand them as early as you can. If you can learn not to stop them but simply allow them while knowing they aren’t who you are, then you are in a good spot. Learning This now and putting in the work while you are young will save you so much in the future. Please consider and reach out if you need help. I have overwhelming ocd, that something bad will occur if I don’t act on my compilations, I understand what it’s like to have horrible thoughts that feel outside of your control and of your personality. Keep going!
Your subconscious mind is the part of you that's beneath what you're aware of. It's the bit that sees the snake at your peripheral vision before you're aware of it and makes you jump. It's the bit that makes you dream at night. It's the bit from where random thoughts pop into your awareness and you don't know why. Why am I thinking of that memory of grandmother from 20 years ago baking pies? I'm in the middle of traffic, why is it relevant? I'll bet you there is, but it's layered like an onion underneath so much meaning. Your subconscious might be forcing you to think about you being transgender in order to solve a different problem that's eating away at you. Something else related to transformation. Could be a friend going through a tough time. Could be yourself going through adolescence. If you're an adult, it could still want to patch up some remains that were left without closure from back when your body was transforming and you had issues with it. It's a sort of a secondary inner problem solver. It wants to make sense of thing your narrow field of vision and awareness doesn't have the computing power to put together.
These are all the ramblings of an idiot off the internet so take it all with a grain of salt. I might be full of shit and I don't even know it. If you're interested in learning about this stuff, Jung's a nice read
Ti get a better understanding of OCD and ehat you are going through. I strongly recommend the book Tormenting Thoughts and Secret Rituals by Ian Osborne, M.D.
How about a book? I finished one the other day about intrusive thoughts (and other stuff). It was good. Have a look at it here maybe?
Hello, I'm a bot! The movie you linked is called Starship Troopers, here are some Trailers
I understand what you're going through. I had similar thoughts with family members, and I understand how torturous it feels. Although I cannot diagnose anything to you, as a doctor needs to do such, I can provide some methods that tend to help.
Talk to your doctor. They will know more and be able to hopefully prescribe you with something (Although, I believe it depends.)
Look at Amazon for books. There are good ones out there- here's the one I have: https://www.amazon.com/Overcoming-Unwanted-Intrusive-Thoughts-Frightening/dp/1626254346/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=intrusive+thoughts&qid=1639846194&sr=8-1 It's EXTREMELY helpful for me.
Another word of advice I can give is this: Do not give your thoughts, well- thought. When you have an intrusive thought, do not start diving into it and thinking more about it. Let it be there, and let it go. If you give the thought attention, your brain will keep sending those thoughts. Let me know if this works. Again, I'm not a doctor, it just helps me personally.
I had this same intrusive obsession really bad for a while, especially when I was on a medication that accidentally ramped my anxiety up to 11. I started using a weird coping mechanism that kind of helped so I'll share it: I started pretending my hands were made of those ball-joint magnet toys?? (Kind of like these, can't remember the name brand) So whenever I had an intrusive thought about hurting my hands, I could replace that image with all the magnetic pieces falling apart and then just harmlessly popping back together. Like damn whoops I cut my fingers off again teehee. Golly gosh darn it's so hard having magnet hands :T
Kind of stupid, but replacing the gory intrusive image with an absurd one actually really helped.
Read the book Rich Dad Poor Dad. Nothing gets better without action and you can't act without the proper tools or education. I strongly recommend starting here https://www.amazon.com/Rich-Dad-Poor-Teach-Middle/dp/1612680194
Have you read this book yet?

If not it might help you understand what's happening to you.
All the best.
Hello,
I highly recommend this book. When my intrusive thoughts tend to be more present, I read this book to remind me of CBT based tactics to resolving intrusive thoughts and it really helps.
