Egg drop soup hits the spot like you wouldnt believe. Stupid easy to whip up too, especially when you have no energy for life. Boil some water and toss in a bouillon, whip up an egg and take some scissors to some green onions.
MY FAVOURITE RECIPE WITH GIFS: WIKIHOW EGG DROP SOUP
If you have a Trader Joe's around, they have a Sprouted MultiGrain that is only 7g Carbs per slice, and its tasty.

Isopure vanilla the 7.5 pound jug on amazon is $83. In my opinion this is the best for overall taste and quality at $11 a pound I’m comfortable with the price.
Not sure how accurate it is or if these are the same ones, but this website lists one serving (of 15 chips) as being 19g total carbs and only 2g of fiber.
I bought a cold brew pitcher which i love. Cold brew is easier on the stomach, plus I sometimes put a cinnamon stick in with the grounds. Tastes awesome and usually I just drink black, but occasionally add a bit of unflavored almond milk 👍🏻
I made some chocolates the other day and used these silicone "Break-Apart" molds for the first time:

Worked great. Next time, I'll try putting some nuts into each "break-apart" piece.
I’m really sorry that I don’t have an answer for you as I am just starting to learn about the low carb life however, I wanted to say that you are not alone! Like, I feel like I just read something that I typed! My facial hair is getting embarrassingly bad (one reason I am loving masks right now honestly!) however, I keep being told I don’t have PCOS. I’m 35 and I’ve always been a fairly big girl. So now I’m wondering if that could have anything to do with it!
Also, a little advice from one furry chin lady to another, I have a couple of these Flawless Hair Removers. I keep one in my car for when I forget to use it at home! I highly recommend this over shaving!
I like MicroIngredients Organic Pea Protein powder. Sure, it can be a little chalky, but it's better than any other I've tried.
I actually prefer Light Cream (30 calories per TBS) to Heavy Cream (50 calories per TBS) in my regular hot coffee (HC in my cold brew from Starbucks though...that hits the spot, haha).
If you're looking for flavors, use Light Cream with the Sweetleaf Drops. I'm not really fond of many of the sugar free sweeteners as they don't usually have super great ingredients and I don't like the texture of the dairy free creamers.
have you tried a chew toy? they make adult chew necklaces, I bought these ones, some people have stress balls on their desks. I have a chew toy. It sometimes helps me, maybe it will help you.
I use this one: MicroIngredients Organic Pea Protein Powder. I also mix it with a tsp of Anthony's Organic Carob Powder and stevia (the carob will add some carbs, but I can't do chocolate nor dairy).
The pea protein powder alone is pretty bad, it's about learning how to combine it with other things to make it okay. I do feel really great when I get it in the mornings with as a shake, and it keeps my appetite down for hours after that.
Not the OP, but Bolner's taco seasoning is the bomb -- and no additional sugars or garbage. Just spices and salt:
It’s not 0 carb but I have been using Right Rice and it’s pretty good. I do a dish with stuffed bell peppers in the smoker where I sauté the pepper caps, mushrooms, onions, and then add right rice as the stuffing with a little hard cheese. It’s really good if you add leftover smoked chicken or bacon or whatever you have. The more good stuff you add, the less rice you need but it definitely adds that texture you are looking for.
Add some MCT oil in the morning. I use these with extra B12 when I'm feeling fatigued in the afternoon.
I saw this on Amazon and it looks fairly low carb though I have never tried it, so I don’t know if it tastes good. BariWise Protein Oatmeal, Maple & Brown Sugar - 6g Net Carbs, 100 Calories, 1g Fat (7ct) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NTBCVGI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_MC34KAZ22FETNJAX4Z3X
Do what you have to in the minute to get things working like Miralax, but also start taking magnesium regularly. It will be your new best friend. The one I take I also sweat like a horse and work out daily, so I find it helps keep my electrolytes in better balance.
You'll notice improvement in so many things when you supplement magnesium.
70 is very low, which is great. If you are unhealthy, overweight, have a high chance of cardiovascular disease, you will likely have VERY high triglyceride counts. Some info here
If you lost a lot of weight recently, you're going to have high LDLs. It's your body's natural response when losing weight. It's best to take a blood test when your weight is normalized and stable. I did the same thing when I lost weight from Keto, and my LDLs doubled, which alarmed my doctor and I both (since I lost 50lbs since doing a blood test). He said not to worry about it, as it's likely a false detection on the test. I did some research and found this to be normal.
Konjac jelly drink. You can order this from amazon or see if a local Korean/Chinese market carries it.
you should read this book the calorie myth by Bailor, Jonathan https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DB3A27E/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
some of the research on food intake is interesting
I'm in Canada but I use Splenda Stevia drops. Never noticed an aftertaste.
But I only ever use it to sweeten drinks. Maybe the powder form is different? Or just a personal experience thing.
We have a Lakanto sweetener (monkfruit/erythritol) here. The largely unused bag is still sitting in my cupboard, not a fan of it.
Melted down some Lily’s chocolate and did a thin coating on a silicone mold. Froze it till it was set then filled with this Protein Hot Chocolate, Keto Hot Chocolate Mix, Low Carb Hot Cocoa, 15g Protein, 2g Net Carbs, Low in Sugar, Instant Hot Coco, 7 Individual Macro-Controlled Packages (Classic, 1 Pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZY9C9YN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_67YJ2JQVE9W81RDPY9AC?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 and cut up part of one of these into small pieces Marshmallows Sugar/Gluten Free Sugar Free Marshmellow 2.7 OZ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00297Z00W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_199GWXR6QQDZCKCTGEB9?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 then sealed the top with more Lily’s and froze until set. The dropped it into some fairlife milk
[Shrimp and Lobster sauce](https://www.fatsecret.com/calories-nutrition/generic/shrimp-with-lobster-sauce-(mixture%29) -- 7 net carbs per 1-cup serving.
But, remember, any Chinese restaurant could easily add sweeteners.
I have a cookie from a manufacturer named Quest that says it has 21g of "total carbohydrates" but 11g of dietary sugar and 5g of erythritol. On the front of the package it says it's "5g net carbs" - is that effectively how many carbs I should be counting?
I ordered it on Amazon,
but if you have an asian market in your local area you could try there first, might be cheaper if you bought it locally :)
I really don’t like Swerve - there an icky aftertaste (but I, for decades used Sweet n Low, talk about aftertaste! 😝). Now I useNuLeaf
I had the same issue and can recommend the NordVPN software. Here is the recipe:
READY IN: 45 mins SERVES: 8
INGREDIENTS 1 lb bacon 1 large onion, chopped 2 tablespoons butter, divided 1 teaspoon olive oil 10 ounces frozen spinach, thawed 6 ounces swiss cheese, shredded 6 eggs 1⁄2 cup heavy whipping cream salt pepper
On a foil lined pan, cook bacon in 350 degree F. oven until crisp. While bacon cooks, chop onion and shred cheese. Heat 1 tablespoon butter and 1 teaspoon oil in skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion, and stir to coat. When onion turns glossy, add thawed spinach, and stir to mix. Heat about 5 minutes, then remove from heat to cool. Remove bacon from oven, and place on a paper-towel lined plate to drain. Stir together eggs, salt, pepper & heavy whipping cream in a medium bowl. Add in cheese, onion/spinach mixture, and bacon. Stir thoroughly to mix. Butter a glass pie plate or quiche dish, pour mix in, and pat evenly with a fork. Bake in 350 degrees F. oven 25-30 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let rest 5 minutes before cutting & serving.
A more low carb friendly version of granola is to make it with seeds/nuts. I have a recipe here that I came up with and like. For lazier times where I don't want to do it myself, I have recently discovered this granola mix which is similar to the stuff I make, this one has chocolate in it also :). I too like to put it on top of yogurt!
Prepping done for the week. At least I hope...LOL.

Nice and handy.
I prefer the Keto Chat Cafe android app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.KetoChatCafe.Keto_Sweetener_Converter&hl=en_US
Or online: Http://www.ketochatcafe.com/Tools/SweetenerCalculator/
Besides the variety of salads and jar salads, etc...if you prefer hot food, there is this "personal oven" thing by Hotlogic (no connection, I just got my kid one for xmas). You plug it in when you get to work and can have leftovers in a container or even an uncooked of frozen meal, and by lunchtime it's eating temperature. My kid loves hers and says it makes it so much easier to eat healthy. Here's a link... Hotlogic
No prob! This book was really great when I started out, I remember most of the recipes being simple and tasty (I'm not gluten-free myself, but I guess that's a bonus for those who are). Worth a looksie if you spot it at the library.
You can use a 20$ amazon food processor. That’s what I do. Just be careful not to liquify it. Use the pulse setting. Should be perfect for your needs, I as well don’t like the lumpy cauliflower!
Here you go. I use a $40 bigger one but the result is the same.

Thank you! I've been wanting to figure out a way to make these myself!
Do you suppose these would work as well as the glass jars?

My boyfriend is vegetarian and so far, beyond /r/vegetarianketo, this book has been the most useful to us: https://www.amazon.com/Keto-Diet-Complete-Delectable-Confidence/dp/1628600160/ref=la_B01KH0YFVW_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1513707843&sr=1-1
This is what I use. It's great! They have a standard gelatin option, as well as the linked variety which does not start gelling as it cools. That means you can mix it in just about anything!
