The gameboy emulator built into Lemuroid has worked really well for me! It's using libretro gambatte, which should be more up-to-date/compatible than most of what you'll find on the play store. No issues that I've noticed on LSDJ v9.2.6 (I'm very new to this and haven't dug into the more advanced functionality, but I can at least guarantee that envelopes work as expected).
I just kept trying other apps and found this, which is working well so far. I might update the info if ever needed.
So, if anyone else stumbles upon this post with similar needs, I hope it helps.
On the Gameboy? Phew, not many actual trackers as far as I know.
The C64 has a bunch. MSSIAH (with full MIDI support cartridge), Prophet64 (like the synth), SID DUZZ'IT and many more. Most of them are abandonware today, I think? Not MSSIAH and Prophet64 tho.
On the PC (as emulation) there’s: Famitracker for NES/Famicom music. It’s neat, but nothing too fancy. (http://famitracker.com/)
Deflemask for NES, Sega Master system, Genesis/Megadrive, C64 and some more I believe. (http://www.deflemask.com/)
You're in luck! I use the same cartridges and there are a couple applications that make getting data on and off of those carts really easy. On PC you have the ems-qart application which can be found here and if you have an Android phone with a USB OTG cable you can use GB Cart Tool found here. I haven't used the PC application myself yet so I can't attest to how well it works but it looks pretty easy to work with.
