Today is the day I grew cojones and used a fabric shaver on my oldest align leggings.
Before we get started, a couple confessions:
•I wear my aligns for almost everything. Lifting in the gym, going out to run errands, around the house, and (please don’t kill me) even cardio.
•If anyone has seen my fit pics you know ya girl has got some thighs. I can’t help it, even my jeans fall apart on the inner seams after years of wear. Chafing, amirite? 😩
Because I yam who I yam I just chalk the pilling up to normal wear and tear. It doesn’t bother me like it bothers other people. They’re clothes that are meant to be worn, and I wear the ish out of mine.
Anyway, I bought a fabric shaver 4 months ago with the intention of using them to de-pill sweaters and some of my leggings. It has sat in my laundry room since then because I’ve been too scared to use it on my precious Nulu. But alas, today I took the plunge. My thighs had already worn down most of the thread in the area so I figured it couldn’t get much worse. Quite frankly, I can’t even figure out how the damn pieces of fabric are still sewn together.
Image 1 is the fabric shaver I used (link), Image 2 is one leg before, Image 3 is the same leg after, and Image 4 is a side-by-side of legs of the same pant. IT WORKED Y’ALL! I am so pleased with the result! 10/10 will do again with other pairs.
I do feel the responsibility to tell anyone thinking of doing this to err on the side of caution and only do this on pairs you’re willing to part with. I was about to give these away anyway and would likely not touch my other pairs until they are as bad as these were.
It’s a Water Bottle Organizer from Amazon! Figured if it didn’t work for the leggings, worst case scenario, I could use it for what it’s intended for, in my pantry 🤪

Here is the link! It’s the Lavento brand “strappy sports bra” in a size Medium. The color is “mauve taupe”. I usually wear a 6 in my Lulu long line sports bra and this fits similarly. The leggings are 25” aligns in Lunar Rock (6).
It’s definitely not a 100% dupe. The fabric feels softer (more Nulu-feeling, less compressive??) but wow for the price, I am very excited! I have no idea how it holds up exercising/running or in the wash, but I’ll be sure to update. I am pleasantly surprised!!
I know there have been a lot of posts on this particular item, and I just want to add my voice because I just got it in the mail and I’m freaking out. This thing is just like LLL. The padding is a little meh but I feel the same about the align top. It is just as flattering, and comes in 3 colors.

Edit: That’s a size MEDIUM, I’m 5’2” and about 150lbs, 34DD. Just so you understand the push up and shaping ability, I don’t have fake boobs and they’re fairly saggy from losing weight but you can’t tell at all in this bra. I’m a pant 6 and top 8 in lulus.
So while mindlessly browsing amazon as one does, I stumbled upon this align tank dupe. I’ve already ordered a few from AliExpress that of course have yet to arrive, but thought this would be another great (and quick) alternative. The cost is $19.99 and colors are limited of course, but figured it was worth a PSA for those who couldn’t snag an align tank. I myself have bought and returned 2 of them just because I didn’t love it enough at the $60 price tag.

Here's my review:
I love my power pivot tanks. I think they are amazing. I found this alternative on amazon and had to try it out. The seams and random stitching is all very similar to the lulu one. The only problem is that the lulu one seems a little longer and the amazon one is more maroon than brown. The fabrics are fairly similar with the lulu one being a little thicker. If you're wondering how much wear you will get out of a power pivot and want to try a cheaper alternative first here is your option!

guys is this or is this not a perfect dupe for the ebb to street?! i've been looking for a dupe for so long cause im in love with the top but it's sooo expensive and i think i finally found it! i've seen many "dupes" but they were just never quite right in terms of ribbing, design, length, padding/no padding, etc. but i am in love with this one even down to the color! i cant speak to the fabric though because i've only ever tried on the real deal tank so i cant remember. but for less than $20 i think its amazing.

Holy sht guys I am SO impressed! I just came across this top on Amazon the other day and I loved the color so much so I decided to order it. I totally was not expecting it to be a nearly perfect dupe for Springtime! It's so soft and comfortable too - feels just like the real thing. I can't believe!! I'm 34c 5'7 ~128lbs normally a size 6 in Lulu tops! The Flow Y is a size 6 and I got a medium in this top. It fits perfectly! will get a good picture of it on when i can put an outfit together :)

The align tank is so expansive and hard to get your hands on. Especially all the pretty colors. So I been looking around and found this tank on Amazon for $20.
Its very soft, not as soft as the align but still pretty nice. It has a built in bra. Also looks very similar on as the align tank except for the thin straps. Comparing it, it is more comfortable than the align for me. Bra band on the align tank digs in for me but this fita better.
The best part is, it has a million colors thats in stock! Lol I'm tired of waiting for the align tank and paying almost $60 for each!

I don’t own this vest, but I’ve washed my Patagonia puffer jacket with this Grangers down wash kit and it turned out fine. The dryer balls helped re-fluff the wet feathers.

Omg when this happens to my aligns I use a “depiller” aka fabric shaver and it basically looks brand new!!
I wanted the align tank to work so badly but as a flat chested mom of two I wasn’t comfortable with the cleavage. On a whim I took a chance on the Arlumi tank on Amazon and I think it’s a great compromise!

i bought this to use whenever they start to pill and wash them inside out. i never put them in the dryer, and always hang to dry. mine are still in perfect condition! hope this helps :)
eta: i wear a size 10 in aligns, and my thighs touch so they constantly rub when i walk. i don’t do any physical activity in them, and use them for lounging and wearing to class/out to run errands
eta2 lol sorry: for recommendations, i love the hotty hot hr shorts and trackers! they’re a bit tricky to get your hands on in bigger sizes (i size up to a 14 in shorts for a roomier fit), but they’re SO worth it! i also love wunder trains, if you love how soft aligns are then you will probably like wunder trains. they’re soft like aligns, but more durable like wunder unders. i have 2 pairs and neither have pilled or stretched yet! and for tops i love the swiftly relaxed fit, i find that regular swiftlys are a bit snug across my chest.

I feel they run true to size. I’m a 6 in Aligns and size up to an 8 in most shorts to make room for the 🍑... I ordered a medium.
That print looks like screen printing which in my personal experience is very hard to remove and if you remove it will leave a mark behind buuuuuut if one already came out I'd just put in inside out, meaning: apply the acetone inside of the fabric where the print is, it'll come out easier, at least that's how we do at work when removing vinyl (we use this btw and it works amazing and it doesn't damage the fabric).

Secondly, it will probably be fine. Is the hole unraveling at all? If so, since it’s on the inside, I’d recommend picking up a little bottle of Fray Check. It’s a washable fabric glue that will keep the threads from unraveling. It should be cheap, and one bottle is all you’ll need in a lifetime. It’s this stuff, but you can probably find it cheaper at a craft store.

Just got these in from Amazon today! I ordered three of the tanks, two in a size large and one in a medium and I'm going to keep all of them. The large is more comfortable but the medium still fits - it's just snug.
I just tried the real Align tank on in the store for the first time last week in my bra size (8 & 10) and my boobs were flying out the front of it in the 8 and the waist was loose in the 10 so I decided to give this tank a try. It definitely offers more coverage in the front, but is still a nice, matte stretchy fabric.

I recently found an OTF Crop 23” (R - Black) dupe on Amazon (L - Dark Chrome) and I like it more than LLL OTF!

@future_ela_teacher had posted a few days ago an amazon align tank dupe and my order finally came in. They seem to still be in stock.
Size: The medium was comparable to an 8 in lululemon and the large a size 10.
Material: The dupe was more in line with the nulux material.
Padding: Lululemon has circular pads and the dupe had bell shaped pads.
Overall it’s a great price point and they still feel great.
So, I just tried some dupes off of Amazon and they are amazing. Good quality - Highly recommend. Compared them to the lulu align tank I ordered to try and they are pretty much identical.

I bought this tank a week ago after seeing someone post about it a while back. Let me tell you, it is amazing! I have tried the Sphynx Cat Ebb to Street dupe tank but didn’t think it was as good as the Lulu ones I had tried on at the store. This tank from Iserkafe is such great quality and the closest dupe to any Lululemon product I have found. The pads are super similar to the Ebb to Street tank and caused no issue. The stitching is great which is usually something that is bad quality with dupes. Sizing is pretty true to size. I am wearing a 4 but it is a little snug and on my next order I will get a 6. I believe there are 10 colors, all for $20! This is a steal and I wanted to share this amazing dupe!

So I actually bought this dupe from Amazon maybe a month and a half ago, way before I even knew there was a Chambray Align Tank. The big difference between these two is the fabric. The Align is a lot softer and a lot less stiff. I honestly like both equally. The dupe was great to work out and run in (didn’t even have to wear a sports bra). This is my first align tank purchase so I can’t say much about it, but I am in love with it already. I’m shocked on how similar the colors of these two are. The align tank is a little darker, but I think if you weren’t super hardcore into lululemon, you definitely would think it’s Chambray😅. I would say that the stitching is pretty similar, and the dupe has a more angled v-neck.
For sizing reference: 8 in Align Tank Medium in the dupe I’m about 5’9, 140-145lbs, 34C, and a 27.5 waist. I’m typically a 6/8 in tops for Lululemon. 8 in Bras. I purchased the dupe in the color Demin Blue (I’m assuming this is a typo and it meant to say “Denim Blue” on Amazon😂)

I wouldn’t because then you can never repurpose this bag for human purposes. It would always, always smell like poop.
I do have an airtight plastic poop holder for my dog for hiking though, and it’s very helpful. If my dog poops in the woods, I never leave it there - it’s just not very LNT. Plus, sometimes she poops where she shouldn’t. It’s not like she tells me beforehand so that I can dig a proper hole with my trowel before she poops in the whole. I always carry it out. And I really don’t want to hike a few hours constantly smelling poop, so the airtight container prevents that. I don’t want any poop smell to transfer to any of my gear.
Honestly you might really like this Ebb To Street Dupe. I’m not usually one to prefer a dupe over the original but this one fits much better & is much more flattering on me vs the lululemon ebb to street. I have all 6 colors and they have held up great! You can also remove the bra pads in them, they’re only noticeable in the lighter colors. I’m a 34DD and usually a 4-6 in lululemon tops and the medium fits perfectly!

I've been waiting to jump on the Soft Ambitions bandwagon ever since those infamous shorts started popping up a while back. I didn't think sweatpant shorts would do my thighs any favors, and the cropped crew made me think of this post about the Align tank, so when these dropped last week I knew my time had come.
I'm 5'4" and usually wear a size 8 or 10, but heard the shorts ran large so I figured these probably would too and ordered size 6.
The good: Perfect length for me! Love the color, and they're very warm. It's about 4,000 degrees outside so I didn't linger in these for long but in some distant future world where it's cold again I'm sure I would think of their warmness as a positive.
The bad: yeah they're soft but, soft in the way that smooth polyester is soft. I guess when I think of being wrapped in a cloud of softness I think of fleece or those fuzzy socks I get every year in my Christmas stocking. Unfortunately these do not conjure up any images of clouds or bunny tails or the bellies of kittens in my imagination. Also, on my short torso these are super high waisted. Like if I sit down my entire stomach becomes covered in pant.
The verdict: I ordered these anticipating they'll end up on WMTM and I wanted to get my size down before that happened. So these are for sure going back, but I'm not sure if I would pick them up on sale either. It'd have to be a great sale.

Nothing says Sporty Spice like a good visor 😂

Yoga Pants I bought these a couple of months ago. I think these might be more like luxtreme if that’s what you are looking for. They have amazing reviews. The only hiccup with these (for me at least) was that they aren’t as highwasted as I’d like. Hope this helps.

Definitely get something made for running! I just bought the Salomon hydration vest the other user mentioned because the one I bought from Amazon only carries 500ml and in summer where I don't have access to water fountain it's not enough at all. I don't know how long your runs usually are but this is the one I got from Amazon, they don't bounce much when I'm wearing thicker clothing (jacket/thicker long sleeve). May be a more affordable option for you.
I have a bunch of the CRZ ones that are similar to the OG CRBs (thinner trim around the neckline, a little bit longer through the body) and the fabric is definitely nothing like Nulu. It's similar to the old light Luon ones, but a bit thicker and a tiny bit more smooth/slippery. The description says "cottony soft" but they're totally synthetic (86% polyamide, 14% spandex) with a similar composition to luon. Edit: THIS is the one I have.

My favourite piece of clothing that is similar to lulu swift’s and DONT snag is the crz yoga top. it was a recommendation from Hopescope. It’s thicker and therefore doesn’t snag as much but just as breathable and flattering.
