I have the Halinfer Bubble Backpack with the extendable front from Amazon!
A pro tip that I would suggest with any backpack that you get for your Maine Coon, is to also put an icepack in there with them and possibly even get a fan to keep airflow- it's easy for my Maine coon boys to overheat in their backpack so I have this fan.
I use The Sherpa On Wheels for transport
And Sportspet for Vet:
I use 66 quart sterilite tubs from Amazon as litter boxes. If you have Amazon prime - they also ship a great clumping litter for $13 and free shipping (40 lb bags). I have 2 and go thru about 40 lbs a week.
Get at least 1 of these scratching posts - even my full grown MCs love this and can't knock it over. My breeder has a couple of these too.
Here is the cat backpack I use. I liked this design because maine coons can be pretty tall and this backpack let's you open the top flap to let them look out. If your cat has a harness you can also strap them in. If you want your maine coon to have a nice view in an enclosed carrier then I would probably go with the bubble backpack that was mentioned by someone else. Sometimes cats want to hide so that's why I got the one I got.
If you want something in the 200 range, perhaps have a skim on Amazon for trees for large cats. I’d suggest avoiding ones that are heavily carpeted. This one is probably too small for a large male MCO, but most girls would find it comfortable https://www.amazon.com/Vesper-Tree-Scratching-Post-Condo/dp/B00SOTG05S/ref=mp_s_a_1_37?dchild=1&keywords=Cat+Tree+for+Big+Cats&qid=1625820714&sr=8-37
Something like this could be good if you’re able to make some holes in your wall for support https://www.amazon.com/PetFusion-Ultimate-Climbing-scratching-furniture/dp/B07H7WGZ6D/ref=mp_s_a_1_65?dchild=1&keywords=Cat+Tree+for+Big+Cats&qid=1625820934&sr=8-65
FWIW the benefit of a company like CTK is that you can buy replacement parts instead of buying a new tree. Though tbh, not all MC are heavy scratchers, so you may be fine either way. Sisal doesn’t survive with my lot, but they’ve not been able to do any damage to the cotton rope post and tree. Sadly, they don’t seem to sell cotton rope bound cat furniture over in the states, though.
I got this one from Amazon for my big boy. Yours might not fit in the little cubbies but the top platform would fit him nice.

This is the one I just purchased.

Oh I also recommend the Gooby brand. My Maine coon boys are slender (16 lbs) and the Medium fits them well with plenty of room for adjustment both ways. I like the V-neck style in the front, it seems gentle on their throat.
I’ve been doing it since the 90’s and it’s become even easier. They sell a thing on Amazon that makes it pretty easy… especially if you have a guest toilet. I used it with my most recent cat. https://www.amazon.com/CitiKitty-Cat-Toilet-Training-Pack/dp/B000F1OS20/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=3V9FSHD2ZKWD4&keywords=cat%2Btoilet%2Btraining%2Bkit&qid=1670699212&sprefix=Cat%2Btoilet%2Caps%2C128&sr=8-1-spons&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXV...
Could be worth it to try “cat attract” litter, I’ve had good luck with it with previous cats who would sometimes but not always go in places other than the box. They make “kitten attract” litter too, I don’t know what the difference is
We have had two of these scratchers for our three cats including our giant MC boy. The first one lasted six years before we needed to buy a new one. It was able to withstand almost 20 lbs of MC and two feisty non-MC girls. I highly recommend it.
We had ours wearing the harness inside until she was totally comfortable and then took her out in a backpack at first just the same. She jumped down and walked herself the very first time. The harness this girl has on is the same one that we use. I don’t think there is anything better. They have them on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000OBIW28/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
We cut a hole in the side of a 50 gallon storage bin that was wide enough to fit a 17”x22” ‘jumbo’ litter pan inside. The pan sits about 4” from the opening to catch stray litter and there’s room behind the pan for the fresh litter container, shovel and baggies. It’s worked just fine for 5 years and cost around $20 for the box and the pan.
Equipment links:
The housing. and a similar pan
Only thing I will add: Don’t bother with plastic shovels. Get a sturdy metal one because a 20 lb cats poo + litter will tear up the plastic shovels in no time.

I’d recommend something like the typical greyhound comb https://greyhoundcomb.com/product/beauty-20cms-7-875-medium-coarse-fine-candy/?v=7516fd43adaa
If he has a cottony undercoat, try an undercoat rake like this https://www.amazon.com/Pet-Grooming-Tool-Undercoat-Dematting/dp/B01EZ7UOCM just don’t overdo it, or you might accidentally pull out healthy undercoat :)
If he tangles a lot while you’re brushing, try a conditioning spray, like the one by groomer’s goop. Just use it as much as you need to stop static building up.
I use a collapsable pet crate. Works great for big floofy and for my older gal who hates being put into traditional cat crates. And it folds up completely flat for better storage. They come in a variety of sizes. The linked one is a medium size.
Literally just bought this a week ago, and he not only fits, but he LOVES it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09L12H1LW?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
I had a big, awkward hard shell that basically turned him into a ping pong ball as I carried him anywhere. He hates it so much but he has monthly vet visits (thyroid checks--he's a healthy boy!) so I needed to find something better/less traumatizing that I could also seatbelt in easily. I opened this up, put it on the floor, threw some treats in it, and he took to it right away. Sleeps in it. Didn't lose his mind on the car ride to the vet. Didn't hide for half a day after we got home. And it has POCKETS for so many things!
I think my boy (Oberon) honestly prefers the tv stand underneath? Lol, i sometimes have to remind him he has a more comfortable seat. He seems to likes hard smooth textures, always paws at them. The kitty pictured is 10 pounds, doesn’t stress it at all. The suction cups work pretty well, I don’t even have the cups attached straight above the corners, they’re slightly angled out to accommodate my window. I only got him Friday so we’ll see how it goes because he’s going to be huge, but the product claims it supports up to 30 lbs:
This is the one I use. My girl has really sensitive skin so I can’t use combs because the points are too sharp. This one is great because the ends that touch her skin are rounded and so they sort of rub instead of scratching like a comb does.
It’s trial and error, different cats like different options but I’d say if your boy hates the comb it’s definitely worth trying something else.
I have three cats and all three of them prefer different kinds of brush. My girl likes this rake, my boy prefers a wide tooth comb, and my short haired girl needs a rubber brush. 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
Certain brushes will pull a lot more than others which most cats find very unpleasant and upsetting.
I started my long hair girl with the Equigroomer which is especially gentle while still being quute effective. There are also less expensive versions avaliable. My cat's favorite is a set of grooming gloves but they don't get as much hair off as the equigroomer.
Now, in order to tackle the not liking pets situation, I'd encourage you to give him small portions of very tasty treats and pet him while he enjoys them.
I’ve had these in the pastNecoichi extra wide ceramic elevated bowl
My cat likes to push his food up the sides of bowls and make a mess so, I eventually switched to just a basic plastic plate I got at Target and sits on top of a low box I got from Michaels.
this is not "touch". touch is meant to guide your cat torward the target. Judging by your response, you don't know what a target is. The ball at the end of the stick is the target. The rest is the clicker. It is meant to give your pet a feedback that doesn't purely consists of food.
yes, with cats, there are quite a lot of treats involved, but the goal is to have them motivated because it's fun and they'll have to figure out stuff.
Also, I trained them so I can easily correct some behavior I don't want. If I don't want my cat to sit in front of my screen, I now tap on the place I want her to be and just say the command. And she just goes there, no probs. I didn't even use treats to teach her.
https://www.amazon.com/PetSafe-Deterrent-Activated-Repellent-Environmentally/dp/B0721735K9/ - Put it by their favorite jumping spot to keep them away.
You could also get some shelves around the room so they can jump onto them from the tower instead.
Yeah my 6 yo fits perfectly in my backpack carrier (here). There isn't much space left but it makes do for vet visits. Hope it helps :)
In that case I'd just look for a regular dog carrier (like here) and put a blanket on the bottom. He'll be fine :)

We have two of these for our boys, leave them out and open at home when not transporting them, they sometimes use it as beds!
I like that they work with seatbelts and also collapse for storage
If shopping for a wider bowl I'd also like to recommend a fountain like this one:
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07SBXDMZQ
Moving water is a big attraction; as is having water away from food.
I put out this and a wide bowl at same time to see what mine would prefer and kitty went 100% fountain (bowl never dropped water level). I do not use the optional flower attachment and have had mine since 11/2020 still working great.
I got the harness from amazon about 3 years ago, they don't sell the exact one anymore but there's still very similar looking ones on there;
Very true! That's a very cool looking toothbrush. I'd try it next time.
I used to just use my finger. It's the easiest way because I can feel his teeth. But after one bite I bought this toothbrush. I like my fingers. Ive tried so many other ones and this is the smallest and has a long handle so my hand is no where near his chompers!
I have the PetsFit one I got from Amazon that's made for up to 22 pounds. I've tried several others over the years, and this one I find most comfortable. I leave the top open and she likes to stand up in it and put her paws on my shoulders to see where we are going. I'll try to link it.Backpack

But i wouldn't recommended it. The finish on them isn't high quality so fork and knife make high pitch sound every time you eat
Try kitten nutritional gel as a supplement. This is super high calorie and full of nutrients and will help get some weight on him. I see this a lot with my foster kittens in big litters. Especially being a large breed you will benefit from adding some additional calories in through the day. Something like the nutritional gel will be help for the little ones cute little scraggly kitten coat.
I happen to like this one

Sure, I purchased it on amazon UK and I bought a size M for her, she is a bit more than 3kg (she is 7 months old )and it fits perfectly, she can also do the toilet with no incidents :D. Definitely A LOT better than the cone, she was super sad with it so after day 2 I decided to make her wear this instead and she is really chill with it!! Absolutely best choice. Here is the link, but if you're not in UK I can suggest you to look for "Cat recovery suit" and you will find plenty!!: Cat Professional Recovery Suit for Abdominal Wounds or Skin Diseases, E-Collar Alternative for Cats and Dogs, After Surgery Wear, Home Clothing 1(M, Blue) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09MKJRCL2/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_SRRSM81NVDRW309HJGPG?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
For ours we went to our local dollar store (or craft store has them) and the anti-slip portion of the rug pads are sold cheaply. I just picked a color that would look good without the fabric on top.
If you want something fancy you could always get the ones that come with fabric on top.
We got this one and LOVE it, you can open the zipper and let them without risking them getting out!

My cat had whisker fatigue really bad, these bowls are miracle workers. She was losing whiskers from hitting them on edges of the bowls
People have mentioned whisker fatigue, and that is a distinct possibility. Eating from floor-level bowls with high rims can also be a bad angle that puts pressure on a cat's chest when they try to get their head to the food. I highly recommend an elevated bowl with a slanted rim, something similar to this . Stick with metal, glass, or ceramic, avoiding plastic for hygiene issues.
She is still a kitten so it’s big enough for now but I’m not sure if it’ll be big enough when she’s fully grown 😅

I had to buy two of these because mine is OBSESSED!
I've had good results with this product: https://www.amazon.com/PetSafe-Deterrent-Activated-Repellent-Environmentally/dp/B0721735K9 (it's just air)
I'm not a fan of the furminator for short/medium furred dogs or any cats. It pulls the fur and can cause skin irritation if used too much.
I have a comb: here, a shedding rake like this as well as a regular slicker brush that you push the button to get the fur out. They're all useful. The comb gets tangles, the shedding rake removes excess fur (don't use it too much) and the regular brush smooths out and gets the extra fur. Also good for a quick brushing if no tangles.
Sometimes my girl isn't in the mood for certain tools. If I switch to a different one I can usually get some grooming in.
Huh, well every cat is an individual! That's a funny mental picture. So the Trixie flip board toy (here the round kong-ish shaped parts need to be picked up with their mouth, they can't be knocked over with a paw. Jasnah won't do that one. She knows the treat is in there but can't or won't do it. The slidey part is super easy and the lever a bit more tricky.
Its the Trixie mad scientist. Just be aware that its fairly easy to tip. I put it on a silicone place mat and that definitely helps reduce that. Sometimes I find it on its side though.
I use combs on my floofs instead of brushes. The one I grab most often is a cheap plastic hair comb from the beauty aisle at my local drugstore. It has wide teeth and just glides through my super-floof’s fur, pulling out the loose bits and preventing tangles.
For my challenging floof, I really like the Gorilla Grip double sided shedding rake. She hates being brushed but tolerates this, and it pulls the loose fur out fast enough that a short session within her tolerance is still useful. I use the cheap drugstore comb on her in between sessions with this one. My super-floof hates the Gorilla comb, though, which is too bad as it works great on him.
During shedding season, I add a basic shedding rake to the routine for my super-floof. This is just the store brand from one of the big chain stores, not the exact one I linked but looks the same. It makes a huge mess but it knocks the loose shedding fur out in no time when he’s shedding enough for five cats.
The main thing I have found is to have an easy tool that the cat likes or at least tolerates, keep it handy, and brush at least a little bit every day. My super-floof loves to be brushed so that’s easy, but for my challenging girl I had to spend a couple of months bribing her with treats every time I brushed her before she’d allow it without trying to take my hand off. Now that she knows she gets treats after, I can even brush her belly as long as I pay attention to her mood and wait until she is calm.
I've had five Maine coons. I don't use a brush at all. A comb is much better. My Charlie likes the wet brush too, the man specific one: Wet Brush Mens Detangler Brush - Brown Leather 1 Pc https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DLZRQ1R/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_FXFB8VAD3118HM6XMHYA?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
And a metal comb. He especially likes the metal comb on his mane.
I have this exact same comb, but my cat hates it as well. I ordered Safari brush for cats after reading online. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000YIWUXI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_YNQX6Q7JZ48M9MF3B9HY
Waiting for it to arrive, but the reviews look good
I don't have any clipper recommendations; I haven't needed them. I'd be curious to hear what others say. For my girl, I used a scissors to do a sanitary trim to prevent things from coming with out of the litter box. She seemed to figure things out better by 1.5 years old and I no longer trim her, but also don't have poo bits left. I didn't trim super close but with mats its a different story. How often are you brushing? At 1 year old, they're still developing their coat and you won't see the full coon coat in til 2-4 years from what I've heard. My girl at 2 years has a much thicker coat than she did a year ago, but it is summer here too. This past winter (she was ~1.5 years old) her fur got longer and thicker, and I noticed a ton of shedding in the spring. I found that when she was growing her coat was coming in way more frequently and I did struggle with matting. I was brushing at least every other day and daily when I could. What kind of brushes are you using, besides the furminator? Do you have a comb? A shedding rake like this: will definitely help get extra fur out (similar to a furminator, but don't use them both at the same time or you'll irritate the skin!) and it also will get out the small mats pretty easily. A comb is also essential, and if you use it too it'll really help reduce matting. There are de-tangler sprays too. My girl really wasn't a fan of it so I don't really use it at all but I felt like it helped when I had tried it out.
Ya I have to keep all my toilet lids closed since I got mine. Also when I turn the shower off she hops in and starts playing in the water lol.
As far as your bowl goes I use this one. It’s heavy enough she can’t flip it. And because of the style she can’t play in it either really.

Do yourself a favor and get this brush. Then brush your cat weekly.
You can also use this brush on the tail or after baths if you wash your cat.
I've been trying to find the right brush/comb for my one year old boy. He's part MC with very silky, very fine, long hair. It was pretty tough when he blew his coat this spring because I couldn't keep up on grooming with the tools I had.
I've tried the 22 teeth Untangler comb and the 30 teeth with every other tooth bent down to make the gaps larger (the bent teeth don't touch the fur at all). They both work well, but the teeth aren't wide enough to not pull. I've also tried their V-shape rake and the brush. The rake still drags quite a bit and the brush doesn't do much of anyrhing. His fur hasn't matted, but it does feel tangly when brushing. I can't find tangles with just my hands, so I'm guessing it's the comb creating them?
I got a slicker brush and it seems to work well, but the head is much too massive for his belly and pantaloons. I tried a smaller one but it doesn't seem to really do much fur removal.
Do you have any recommendations for a good slicker that is a small size? Or maybe of a better type of brush/comb/rake?
I got ours from Amazon. Super sturdy.

I saw you post about your floofy boys cattitude on another thread. One thing that has helped a friend of mine with a Domestic Longhair and Domestic Shorthair sibling rivalry is getting a diffuser that adds "family" smelling chat pheromones' to their home. Your boy may benefit from trying one of those out and see if this makes him less on edge?
The product my friend Rachel tried was ThunderEase Multicat.
Feliway also has a line of different products as well. I am linking the one she used since her problem was also aggressive cats who were full on fighting each other. It ended up being a territory thing which was the root issue of the problem. Unfortunately its still ongoing but now her living room (where the diffuser is plugged in) is neutral ground and they behave relatively well in it.
~Cheers and best of luck with your guy. I hope he chills out eventually.
Thanks. I got this after wading through Amazon. Its metal framed and i havent had issue yet. This is the one https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07H926YRG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glc_fabc_JK8Y6JGJQ3SZ4YC38S13?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I use two separate combs that are basically this one - I don't often take grooming responsibility though so I don't know if it's the best type!
Have you tried a bristle brush? This is the one I use with mine. It doesn't pull, so he doesn't mind it. I associated brushing with treats too.
I was considering it but no groomer I’ve emailed has gotten back to me -.-
However, I’ve recently started a routine where I bathe him every 6 ish weeks with kitten shampoo (Espree. I also brush him with a furminator weekly.
He gets tiny mats sometimes under his arms or in his pants which I cut out when he’s sleeping because any other time he’d move and I’d create more of a problem then what we started with.
Ours love to bite into foam balls. (about the size of golf balls) They will fetch with them, and come up to use and demand we toss the balls with a strong trill or meow to get our attention.
My girl loves plastic spring toys like these. I'm trying a wide variety of toys as lately she's been getting bored of her older toys. The Yeowww brand catnip toys are a hit and her absolute favorite is the extra long Da Bird stick and the feather attachments.
You can try these my kittens love them. I would probably try eBay first though as I think I got some cheaper from there.
It looks like they raised the price, but I'd say it's still worth it due to ease of cleaning compared to all other boxes. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FDHBM5N/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_1QwMFbBRSEA1Z?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
The licking thing is totally normal and annoying af for sure when their tongues get sharper lol! I'm still trying to train our 14-month-old to give head boops instead of painful kisses
I've seen many much similar to this on Amazon, this link here also has other coats if you're interested. https://www.amazon.com/MUGBREW-Black-Silver-Ceramic-Coffee/dp/B077ZR137K/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=Maine%2Bcoon%2Bcat%2Bmug&qid=1570199631&sr=8-3&th=1&psc=1
You're welcome :).
So, he has a harness that goes over his front legs (nothing around his neck). It's actually a small dog harness. I'd recommend getting a specific cat harness though, since if he really wants to he can wriggle out of his harness. Something like this. Also suggest a retractable leash so you can control how far he can wander.
We use wet wipes to clean his paws when we get home, and usually give him a brush to clean out the twigs etc that he's caught in his fur.
Would also recommend that you regularly apply anti tick & flea drops.
My boy is a household pet, so time and hassle is my primary concern; he has about 15 minutes of patience before he'll get tired of it and start rattling the floorboards with growls. If you are looking for a show-quality grooming process, I'm the wrong person to ask.
70% undercoat rake, 15% furminator, and 15% electric trimmer for the matt-prone areas. YMMV.
More than anything, get your kitten used to grooming and claw trimming early on. My boy is 25#, so when he decides he's done, he's done. Even just brushing the kitten with the back side of the brush, or extending the claws and pretending to trim, is a great start. The same with an electric clipper - just holding the buzzing clipper by him is enough to acclimate to it.

This is what I currently have. I'm not sure how easy it would be to build a shell around. Plus there's the fact that my one cat loves to smack the water, and the bowl itself, around before drinking. She's knocked it over a few times as well.
I have a Snoozer rolling pet carrier for my girls. They are about 14-16 pounds each and share the carrier for vet trips and moving.
I haven’t flown with it, and I have the Large size, but the Medium might meet under-seat requirements and fit your girl. Snoozer carrier
I’ve had mine for three years and multiple cats, I’ve been very happy with it. My one complaint is the zippers don’t latch, so I use tiny carabiners to hook the double zipper pulls together. If you fly with this, DEFINITELY secure the zippers! I put a towel inside for padding, and flip one over the top for a little privacy/security at the vet office. During the drive I leave it uncovered and the girls love to watch the scenery pass by.
Oh man. We just got our Maine Coon neutered last Monday. He would NOT wear a cone. We now own 5 different types of cones, and he would not wear one of them. I had to take it off, i truly thought he was going to strangle himself. I just gave up. I have no advice, but for what it’s worth we took him to the vet today for his 10 day check up and they said his incision looks perfect. But i know it’s different for males vs. females so i feel unhelpful. I have heard soft cones are much better than the plastic or the inflatables. like this one! Good luck!! They are beautiful, stubborn babies :)
I found mine only allows me to use a particular brush which looks a bit like a small rake. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B005BOHC9W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_BLafFbN4KD5WS Start really slowly somewhere he doesn't mind being petted and I found just after he woke up was best at the beginning. We went from a cat that ran away every time we tried to brush him to one that shouts at us until we brush him. Good luck!
This is his 3rd or 4th harness. It is a vest style off of Amazon. He's still growing into a size medium for a 10/11lb MC kitten:

Like you I found many harnesses didn't have the right neck-to-shoulder-blade length
Yes, from Amazon, highly rated. I think if he keeps growing it will be small, but the low sides on the perches makes for comfy lounging.

It’s the rabbit goo harness from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Rabbitgoo-Harness-Harnesses-Adjustable-Weather/dp/B07MZRKC7P.
I heard about it from someone else on Reddit. I just put it on him and let him get used to the harness in my house. After about 10 minutes he was playing like normal so I just gave him some treats and took him right outside! He had a blast!
I just put him in it and took him outside in the yard. He was weirded out by it at first and would walk and then lay down, but after a bit he was walking more normally. I'm guessing the key for him is to keep doing it, but he's only 4-5 months old and not too set in his ways yet.
I bought this one off of Amazon: rabbitgoo Cat Harness and Leash for Walking, Escape Proof Soft Adjustable Vest Harnesses for Medium Large Cats, Easy Control Breathable Pet Safety Jacket with Reflective Strips & 1 Metal Leash Ring https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081YLH26V/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ZULFEb6CGZDPD
Coons are big frame. Want the smearing to stop? Just go big now. He'll also thank you for this. Who wants to poop in a tiny box? Let's see you try.
Here what's I recommend for all large frame cats.

The litter I use is carbon treated. Means NO STINK! I learnt this raising aquatic turtles

The emulsifiers in "fragrance litter" makes it less effective. Buy this one time. You won't smell his poop and with the big box, it's microban, meaning less germs, and less smears.
I can't find any subreddit rules about linking to other sites so I'll go ahead and show you this one.
I have that one in small, it's too big for my kittens but I think small or medium should fit a grown cat, depending on how big it is. I've seen some others use this same one as well. Fair warning though, if you buy the lead also in 'small' size, it's very short. :)
Yes I got mine as kittens. As a bonus, the breeder let me visit often, so I got to see them weekly from about 4 weeks on. Great fun playing with their litter (6) and another litter of 6 that was 2 weeks older, plus 3-4 Momcats.
My breeder trained them on a big scratching post I found and I had one just like it, so they rarely feel the need to exercise their claws on anything else but that and some cardboard scratchers.
I use a squirt bottle for discipline. For some reason playing with a dripping water faucet is fun, but getting wet from an unknown source is not. I really have learned not to leave stuff around unless I want to look for it later!
Here's the scratching post. They could climb it as kittens, but can't knock it over as cats. The breeder got one and she was so impressed as her big cats immediately took to it as well, she bought a few more for her pride.
Hello, I'm sure you have excellant suggestions here, but here is another one that I bought off Amazon. You can check it out here. It works great!
She's more of a dog than a cat. She just listened after shooing her off. Praised her when she sat on the stools, shooed her when she went on the counters. Also this: https://www.amazon.com/PetSafe-KIT19001-SSScat/dp/B000RIA95G
Have you tried other brands of canned food, rather than pouches? My MCs tend to prefer pouches to canned food, so I wonder if your girl is the other way around. Also, have you tried the Applaws brand? I saw they have it on Petonly.ca. It's pricey, but my cats like it and I get it every once in a while for them.
Is she getting enough water? If so, then maybe she doesn't need so much wet food. Would she eat more dry food if you put it down for her? Maybe if you got one of those food balls (https://www.amazon.ca/PetSafe-SlimCat-Interactive-Food-Dispenser/dp/B0018CG40O) it might make it more fun for her to eat?
I've read many times that MCs continue to grow until they reach 3 years old, so she may need more food. But ultimately, what does your vet say? If s/he thinks Twix is underweight, then you may really need to find a solution to this. If not, then I wouldn't worry too much. Good luck!

Our cats are just obsessed with it. One of them is very protective of it; this is like the one thing in the house that he's decided is HIS, so he lays on it when he wants to be left alone. Considering you never know if your cats will like something you buy, it's surprising when you get two of them to agree so much.
When he starts play-hunting you or your girlfriend, it's time to take out a cat toy and redirect that playful or aggressive energy. The best ones are those multicolored felt snake looking things.
That will teach him that toys are for play, and once he's tired out he will be a lot more receptive to being pet or held.
Oh yeah I have one of those but it doesn't do enough right now. He's pretty energetic and tends to run out of the litter box. Doesn't exactly help the situation either.
Edit: In case anyone is interested, I just bought this litter matt and it's awesome.
Welcome to the world of NYC maine coon ownership! I can't recommend this big, hefty post enough - both of our big burly cats were too much for normal scratchers (they would pull them over because the scratcher didn't have enough weight). It's also tall enough for them to sit on top of it: Cat Skyscraper
Yeah I was considering that, especially since it's so cheap. But I currently have this: http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000XSC8R2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage so it's hard to replace a nice litter box like that.
