I assume you are looking for something related to a memory palace, but while I personally have not really have practiced the discipline to utilize them I have found that this workbook was a gamechanger for me understanding/memorizing the note placement on the fret board

If you want to increase knowledge and improvisation, I feel you have to understand how the notes are placed and connected to each other. Good luck!
No problem! You can use my referral code if you want to join LingQ and we both get points. Good luck on your Spanish learning journey! I’m active on some of the other Spanish language subreddits so might run into you again over there.
I use Anki for long-term memorization of facts, concepts, etc. Slightly different method but I often pair Anki with a memory palace or linking method to learn the facts, Anki just helps me keep it fresh with spaced repetition.
The best tool I've found for memorising large numbers / number sequences is the Major System. I learned about it in the book Unlimited Memory (which is well worth a read) by Kevin Horsley.
