Thank you for your e-mail. OfferUp asks that IP related takedown/infringement requests be submitted through our IP form, found here: https://offerup.com/ip/. You can submit one ticket with multiple item links in the form.
We can more appropriately track and review your takedown requests through this process. Please be sure to include information as to how the items at issue are infringing and or inauthentic.
Thank you for your cooperation.
I've already submitted a ticket yesterday with no response yet in that time frame two more victims were almost defrauded had they not reached out to us. I suppose if they don't respond properly i'll be forced to bring offer up into the mix to defend our selves for additional damages.
There's nothing in their FAQ about it. They accept state issued IDs, and passports are federally issued. I would contact them and ask. https://offerup.com/support/contact-us?article_id=360032336151
Sorry, I might be dumb or smth, but I can't figure out how to attach more than one screenshot per image post, sorry about that!
Please get him off this app! We have enough people like this on this app, and we def don't need more!
I just signed up and found out very quickly how totally, completely, scammy, bonkers, shit eating, the fucking offerup.com is. seriously. Every single offer is a GD scam. E-Bay is not bad, but Jesus, the fees are out of sight. Offerup.com is Buh Bye.
well that's what I thought at first but I quickly realized it was the same person because the item was identical and the same price same description same everything only thing that was different was the background also now the person is trying to sell it for 40 both are the same price
as you can tell the person did add a few new pics of it but one pic in particular gave it away that it was the same item and same person (edit):the person changed the description on one of them
No idea how to help with that but you can contact them directly. They answer pretty quick. or
Also this is another way https://offerup.com/support/contact-us/?article_id=360032337051
Choose account, then account verification (or what you think is close to your issue) and then they will send you to a form to fill out , then submit.
Hope that helps. :)
You can reach out to OU support at the below link.
IF the pool is a used one, OU's automated system might have flagged at it as a possible hazardous item (if not properly sanitized prior to selling it).
You will get a faster reply from OU's Twitter acct. If you want to contact OU support directly:
If this was an "in-person" transaction...deal it done and OU will not help. If this was a shipped transaction OUTSIDE of the app, OU will not help either. If you used OfferUp's payment system, you can also use the above link that I provided to open a Buyer Protection Claim.
Offerup uses Stripe and not Paypal as the payment processor. This is a fact. Ordinarily, the shipping label is only sent after the funds are cleared and held in escrow by Stripe. Personally, I would contact Offerup (link below) or make contact via OU's Twitter account (faster reply).
The source of the hack was your own ACTION(s). You are most likely a victim of phishing scam. If someone had hacked their servers, there would be tens of millions of victims.
You can contact OU support by this link as well: https://offerup.com/support/contact-us/
This is an issues with OfferUp, as once your funds are taken from your account, they are held by OfferUp in an escrow account. The seller will not get paid for several business days AFTER you receive the item.
Make contact with OfferUp via Twitter (you will get a faster reply) or use the link at the bottom of this paragraph. It can take up up to 48hrs for for any voided transactions/refunds to show on your account balance. You can opt to call your the cc company or bank to get the details on the transactions or file a chargeback for the other 2 additional transactions.
It does work for the passport, but it will have to be reviewed by human eyes. What you should do is either contact OU through their Twitter acct or use this link the below link.
BTW, you will receive a faster reply via Twitter.
The seller's story sounds legit, as UPS has been added as carrier for anything over 8oz, OfferUp did not officially alert shippers in regards to the shipping policy changes. They just changed all the shipping rates without disclosing it to sellers. It is a total sh$tshow.
The customer support button is within the original link I provided.
If you want to include your phone number within the mesaging system use "xxx&xxx%xxxx" type of format and do not copy/paste generic messages, as you will get flagged again.

For those who are thinking $10 is nothing and why would someone scam someone else for $10, you have to know they do it for hundreds of people thats add up to couple thousand dollars, and most scammers are from other countries and $10 for them its like $300 for us, so its worth it for them to make even just $10, thats why i advises using the flea-bay.com app, its only available in the usa play store not available for other countries try it here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.flea_bay
