Thanks for doing this, I'm grateful. The proper channel for bug reports is Trello for anything that is NOT related to the rules text on the website: https://trello.com/c/LXzW1vev/102-open-legend-example-google-docs-characters-out-of-sync
And then Github for the rules text itself: https://github.com/openlegend/core-rules
Again, much appreciated!
yeah, that 3d8 score is definitely wrong. i too wrote a script to simulate rolls and it always comes out at a mean of ~26.5 (just under, really), as expected.
it's pretty messy, especially at the end, due to my comments: https://repl.it/@typhirz/Open-Legend-Core-Dice-Roll-Simulator
but it results in the correct outputs as determined by anydice.com.
Here is a condensed version I made over the past couple hours, Posting it as a comment here instead of making a new "reference sheet" topic.
edit: This reference takes a couple liberties, such that the characters are already made, and they know their attribute limit is 5 (by the time they hit lv 5 they'll be knowledgeable enough to know their max attributes anyway.) And that they'll rarely if every make multiple-attacks without the feat (it's disadv. 3/attack)
This 2 page reference is what I feel covers the majority of what is likely to come up at the table regularly at a table of new players.
