After your users had signed up for a Plex account using google/facebook, have them login to plex.tv and set an account username & password.
They will be able to use them to login to your Organizr, Ombi & Tautulli (if you use them and sync the users).
I liked the code so much that I used it myself, but I did touch it up a bit to space the services more evenly. I didn't got it perfect but they look nice.
https://hastebin.com/cajoheduhe.css I hope it helps you :)
For anyone else interested this is what I am using to achieve exactly what I wanted
// Login box Custom JS if(activeInfo.user.loggedin === false){ console.log('user not logged in'); $('body').arrive('.login-box', {onceOnly: false}, function() { var customHTML = '<div class="col-xs-12" style="padding-top:4px;"><a href="#Account-Management" onclick="setTimeout(location.reload.bind(location), 1)" style="color:#fff;" class="btn btn-info btn-lg btn-block text-uppercase waves-effect waves-light">Register</a></div>'; $(customHTML).appendTo($('.login-box .white-box .form-group.text-center.m-t-20.m-b-0')); }); }
had to use onclick="setTimeout(location.reload.bind(location), 1)"
to get the anchor to actually take people to the page (the self service tool can be accessed outside or organizr too but if you can keep it all in the same page, why not? That's one of the main reasons we're using organizr right?) otherwise it wouldn't load
It looks (almost) exactly how I wanted https://snipboard.io/iqUxcy.jpg
Just forgot to change the button text to be lowercase which I'll fix up later (I don't know why but I very much dislike all uppercase, purely a personal preference thing)
Thanks again to /u/causefx
It is true, but they may leave Organizr open all the time. As great as Monitorr was, something more real like Healthchecks.io or UptimeKuma tends to be better as it runs all the time and can notify you in a variety of ways.
Well if PMS is the one instating the connection, it wouldn't go through the reverse proxy, but that only happens while talking to plex.tv and it should just use https for that regardless of settings(that would be mainly used for auth and letting plex know your server exists). However if you access your server from plex.tv, that does go through the reverse proxy (and you can see it in nginx logs if enabled).
One side note: if your reverse proxy is unavailable plex might revert to their own proxy (don't remember what it's called) and I have no idea whether that's encrypted or not. It definitely has limited bandwidth though.
Ah, completely missed it in the title, my bad.
I see the issue now; it isn't with the Organizr config, its the howto site. That button for LetsEncrypt is linked to an article ID -- the article itself likely moved at some point. I'll ping /u/causefx so he can know to have a look at the LetsEncrypt button there, as that article ID shouldn't link to the Plex Invite page.
LetsEncrypt themselves have a how to page with both console and non-console routes. I'd wait until Causefx looks at the howto page though, as his document is almost definitely more to the point, and tailored for Organizr itself.
Like I said, nothing you're doing, the button itself is just either linked wrong, or the document has since moved.
Yeah, I've tried that. Didn't change anything. Even went as far as making a rewrite rule and changing the redirect to try and spoof it into working - still nothing. I hope someone on here does have a solution. Its the only tab that I have yet to get to work properly. Not sure if it matters, but I am not using the original calibre web server, I'm using https://github.com/janeczku/calibre-web . I was able to get the basic calibre web server to function, but that also is because setting a root url was an open option. Frusterating..
I've just been going through Colormind.io finding nice colours. http://colormind.io/
Colormind is a deep learning AI that knows color theory. It can generate color palettes from scratch, or it can take your input and intelligently fill in the blanks
Hell, here's an entire function for you to use. I added a check for this to my existing Healthchecks.io script:
https://github.com/tronyx/HealthChecks-Linux/commit/31ecb73db364b3a072c49b3900a18d7a9c6fe47f
This worked for me:
<img id="healthCheckSVG" src="https://healthchecks.io/badge/138eb523-5089-452e-9915-8a9e1f/V9zdKoCH/WSL2Docker.svg">
<script> function refresh(node) { var times = 3000; // gap in Milli Seconds;
(function startRefresh() { var address; if(node.src.indexOf('?')>-1) address = node.src.split('?')[0]; else address = node.src;
node.src = address+"?time="+new Date().getTime(); setTimeout(startRefresh,times); })(); }
window.onload = function() { var node = document.getElementById('healthCheckSVG'); refresh(node); // you can refresh as many images you want just repeat above steps }
</script>
I wanted to share "workaround" of sorts for those of you who use caddy which inherently breaks connections for apps like nzb360.
I use a OpenVPN for Anrdoid (NOT the official openvpn connect app) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.blinkt.openvpn&hl=en
This app allows you to schedule, whitelist, and blacklist particular apps with your OpenVPN connection.
I use this for all of the web applications on my lan that I want to access remotely but don't want to expose to the internet.
So the behavior I have setup is:
OpenVPN set to always running (ideally but not guaranteed) OpenVPN connection settings are by default "do not use VPN" with a list of exceptions to use the VPN.
Apps on the list route over the VPN to my LAN, bypassing authentication
Apps not on the list bypass the VPN route and go out as normal
You can use their tasker plugin to get even more granular if you want... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ffrog8.openVpnTaskerPlugin&hl=en
With the Tasker plugin you can invoke OpenVPN to start and establish a specific VPN connection when a particular app is opened, and disconnect when that app is closed. This way, you are essentially establishing the VPN connection when you need it, rather than having it always running.
