I have this gimbal protector for my original Pocket:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PSFTTQS/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_9WHT644R8KMAGY65CBX6
It works like a charm. I can put the protector on the gimbal then put the Pocket in my pocket and it's protected. I've been doing it this way since I got mine 2 years ago and it works great.
I’ve used this protective case on my original OP:
PGYTECH - DJI Osmo Pocket Gimbal Schutz https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07KW2YJ6M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_60D3Fb1E58MGK?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It protects and locks the gimbal and you can take it off very easily.
But often (for me at least) the case would fall off of the OP and I‘ve had to look for the case in my bag, also I don‘t know if this will fit the Pocket 2 since I‘ve sold it with my first OP.
There‘s also this version, but I haven‘t tried that one yet:
Flycoo Gimbal Lens Cover Cap Lens Cap Nacelle Cover for DJI Osmo Pocket PTZ Camera Portable Protection Accessories https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07MH7GPCN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_L0D3FbECZ4X8G
I‘m using the DJI protective case with my Pocket 2 and yes, I think it‘s a hassle but I like that I can store my essentials in/on it (mini tripod and lightning connector).
The SD card should be U3 actually and be formatted with ExFAT. Sandisk and Samsung work fine here - cheaper Transcend U3 cards also. I have 3 x 128 GB and one 64GB. Even with all being U3 (means it’s rated at 30 MB/s) I had stops when recording was too slow. The Osmo Action seems even more picky.
You may also try the official SD Association formatter - he have a slow "overwrite" option to really clean the card: https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter/
This is shot at 4k 24fps. I just got the pocket 2. Look at the black pole outside or the sidewalk on the pan. It is so jerky. Any hard line seems to be jumping terribly. Is there any suggestions on what to do here. This was all set at auto for now. This is not the same as the footage I am seeing online for the same speed at panning. No ND filter. This was dropped into my machine and then directly uploaded to youtube.

Should do fine for the Osmo Pocket, you don't have that much weight to carry. Be careful in high winds though, you may want to anchor it with a backpack or someting to keep it from tipping over.
Maybe a magnetic mount like this?

some people have used safety pins

I have used both devices in a moving vehicle with great results, you can even attach to the window or windshield with this: https://www.amazon.com/Smatree-Suction-Greater-Compatible-Session/dp/B00PQ4ACQ2/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=suction+cup+mount+gopro+smatree&qid=1608218602&sr=8-4 (the GoPro mount unscrews and it's just a standard cold shoe which the OP2 will mount to.)
I find the new case to be a tad more fiddly than the one that came with the OP1--it's open on the bottom and doesn't have a strap to hold the device in, so it's a snugger fit. I usually slide my finger under the bottom and slide it out from that end. There are aftermarket cases you can get that wouldn't have this issue, though.
You have to activate the device via a phone, but you absolutely do not have to connect it after that unless you need to. (Keep in mind if you've got an older Android phone that uses micro USB you'll need an adapter, both devices only come with USB-C and Lightning connectors)
its really a stabilizer. Been making a lot of hyper lapses and this really helps. But great for just normal filming too.

I've used this, nice and portable too.
shot this mostly with the nd8 filter, 4k24p @ 1/48 shutter.
also, does anyone know if the squeeze factor on the lens is always the same? they're marketed as 1.15x but desqueezing at that looks wrong
I bought this one for my osmo pocket 1, and it works like a charm. The plug is firmly attached, and the noise is very low (maybe the osmo filters it for any mic anyway? I don't know)

I've had mine since just after they were released and I've never had any issues. Just keep it covered when not in use.
I have this and like it:

Search Amazon for accessories. I have this and it works great plus it extends the battery life significantly. It is a bit bulky but I like it.
Joby makes a decent micro tripod perfect for the Pocket 2. I even attach it to the screw hole on the carry case. Unfortunately you have to buy it with their mobile phone holder.

No, but I guess you could split out the audio in your editing application. I use PowerDirector and it has the ability to split the audio and video out into two different tracks and then save the audio in AuidoDirector.
You might be better off getting something like this Voice Recorder
We got this one by Movo and are extremely happy with it. I linked our channel in a different comment - the mic is used for nearly all our voice work.
The ONLY constructive thing I have to say about it is that we wish it was on a swivel that would tighten / loosen so we could flip it around (we're travel vloggers, so sometimes one of us is being filmed and the mic is faced away from the Osmo, but other times it's selfie mode and the mic is facing toward us, if that makes sense?). We bought a separate add on from Amazon that is a swivel and the extra weight is worth it.
thank you for nd filter suggestion, I didn't know about it before ... I think this will solve my problem ... I got this sunshade protective cover before but I am not sure if it does any job ... nd filter lens sounds good
I just bought this case in the hopes it can do the exact thing you are talking about.
It comes in today.
I'll let you know.
This is what I use:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MKJZHVG?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share.
However, I have not been happy with my footage. The holder works great but the Pocket 2 needs a gimble lock function like the original has.
I https://www.amazon.com/Smatree-Suction-Greater-Compatible-Session/dp/B00PQ4ACQ2/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=smatree+car+mount&qid=1619784153&sr=8-3. . I like this one so much I have two of them. The arm articulates in and out, pretty much everything on it is adjustable (it appears in the listing to be for a GoPro-style mount, but the mount is removable and reveals just a standard cold shoe which can be used for just about anything).
I'm not sure what kind of car you have or the angle issue you're having, but I tend to have better luck placing the mount as high as I can and hanging the camera downward from it.
the wireless module. there's only one. it will allow you to connect the device to your phone using bluetooth.

I think this is what you're asking for: https://www.amazon.com/DJI-Osmo-Pocket-Part-Accessory/dp/B07KZKCFL1/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=dji+pocket+accessory+mount&qid=1609809063&sr=8-1
It adds a Go Pro-style screw mount to the back of the device. You could then attach it to a backpack clip, head mount, etc.
I don’t have any real investment into this idea, but I was thinking something like a shelf bracket: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TQS1P7L/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_m4lSFbGCJQN9V
Cut off some of the short end, maybe glue on something grippy to keep it from rotating, enlarge the holes a little so they will fit a 1/4 in bolt.
I just bought this hard shell case... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07DQBC6NH/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_6uQRFbW393TSZ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 .
Fits nicely even with the do-it-all handle and the wireless transmitter attached

I bought myself this and attached a short lanyard:

I’d plug that into the USB-C adapter and it would be my last-resort hand strap

It's surprisingly decent quality for what you pay. The car window mount is definitely the most well made item in all of it, but over all it's a pretty good deal. I haven't tested everything thoroughly, but I would definitely vouch for the car mount at the present time.
Ulanzi has a phone and camera mount which has a light and mic mount on Amazon.this one
Does it have a hotshoe or a place to add a rode mic that doesn't get into the shot ? I've got the PGYTECH holder but the Rode with a dead cat fitted shows up in the video :(

I got a case from Smatree on Amazon that holds four ND filters, the entire original Accessory kit, the Microphone adapter, and slots for two SD cards, I can put my GorillaPod Magnetic in there, my Rode VideoMicro, it holds a lot! A bit on the bulky side, but puts everything in one place.
I have my most frequently used ND filters in the foam slots (for quick access), and the rest in their case in the zippered pouch.

I have the same problem with my lifeproof case on my iphone.

I ended up buying a lightning extension cable, you should be able to find a USB-C one like this one here for less than the price of a case.

For me, it was the best workaround since my case is very effective at protecting and is pretty expensive, so i didn't want to put it to trash.

Hope that helps !
