If I were you I would find some Sabal minors and a needle palm grown by a local nursery. Plants grown in your area or colder will fare better than ones grown further south.
I would plant a few weeks after your last frost (April?) Palms in-ground will be more cold tolerant than potted outside. The first few years will the hardest. Mulch is your friend.

On cold days, record your temperatures versus what it was reported as for your city. Your house might actually be 5b or 6b.
