Dude. Stabilo pens.
I recently bought this specific pack because it was fairly cheap with a lot of colors. I was very skeptical about all of the "they don't bleed through the pages!" reviews they had - I was SO wrong. I mean, if you really lay down some ink, obviously you'll see a little. But no joke, they do not bleed through! I will never buy any other planner pens again. (I promise I don't work for them, just very dedicated to my love of pens)

I ordered it off amazon- it seemed more functional than an organizer that keeps the rolls on a spindle!
Edit: This is the one I got: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IA7QLPW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This would be good for a bigger washi collection, imo: https://www.amazon.com/InterDesign-Stackable-Organizer-Eyeglasses-Sunglasses/dp/B00L43I180/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1488126310&sr=8-2&keywords=eyeglasses+organizer
Honestly, I'd just try and make your own. The basic version of the Silhouette software is free to download, and there are tutorials on Youtube for how to make your own checkboxes.
Buy some sticker paper from Amazon and then you can print them yourself. You can shop around and read some reviews, but here is a pack of 100 glossy sheets for $10.
It'll be somewhat of an investment up front, but that works out to only 10 cents per sheet. Even if you go to FedEx like I do and pay 65 cents per page for printing, that's still only 75 cents for a full 8.5 by 11 sheet. Most Etsy sheets I've seen are like half that size and 5 times as expensive.
Glad you liked it!

It's an eyeglasses organizer from Amazon. :)

Edit: Looks like they still carry it! https://www.amazon.com/mDesign-Rectangular-Stackable-Sunglasses-Eyeglasses/dp/B077Z7DC8G?crid=358463N0TLZ3U&keywords=eyeglasses+organizer+box&qid=1540162380&sprefix=eyeglasses+orga%2Caps%2C163&sr=8-20&ref=sr_1_20
I searched with some keywords and here you go with the results. Not sure which style you like the most so maybe you can check them out and see if anyone of them attracts you! Cute planners
And I especially recommend this as I found this one has a similar layout like the one in the pic you have posted https://www.amazon.com/Haiker-Planner-Journal-Notebook-Scheduler/dp/B07H2MW5TS/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=weekly+planner+cute&qid=1620129978&sr=8-3
Hope these will help you
https://www.amazon.com/Avery-Bookmark-Dividers-Assorted-24980/dp/B01H9SH2LU would something like this work? I don't have a golden coil, partly because it uses that weird wire binding.
Hey, I recently made my own Bullet Journal from scratch with 100gsm printer paper and then printed a dot grip onto it and it worked well enough. 140gsm makes sense for a sketchbook but is a bit thick for a bullet journal because (in my personal experience) because you will have a very thick journal in the end with not a lot of pages. Here is a link for the paper I bought (Amazon.de) I bought 500 pages of 100gsm but this is the link for 250 pages of 120gsm! https://www.amazon.de/Papyrus-88085901-Drucker-Kopierpapier-Premium/dp/B001ER06IE?th=1&psc=1
If you have any more questions about binding dot grid paper (you have to be very careful and there are a couple problems I encountered that I don't worry about with plain paper) or bookbinding in general then feel free to ask me!
do you want boxes like that, or hour blocks? because this one from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B1MRVK8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 is vertical with plenty of space for notes and scheduling, and it's like very cheap, I use it for grad school and I love it. plus it's super simple so you can decorate how you please!
I had a stroke 5 years ago that left me with mild memory and executive functioning difficulties, and I'm on medications that certainly don't help the issue. I like planners in general but don't want to waste money on a dated one if I'm going to forget to use it for a long time. I've switched to an undated discbound planner that can be rearranged as needed. I prefer a smaller size because I don't work and only need to track medical appointments and to-do lists for around the house. I use these that I found on Amazon. I have the weekly planner, task pad, and dated yearly planner. It's enough for me with a few dividers thrown in to organize things. I have a backpack purse because I use a cane for outings, so I take it in there to medical appointments and if I need to keep any paperwork I just fold it and stick it between the pages.
I'm really impressed with the Boxclever Press Everday planner - week page on one side with space for notes on the other. Similar to some of the other suggestions here, but a bit brighter and cheaper.
I received this planner (free of charge) to review for Jubtic. The thoughts and opinions are my own. At this time in my life (recovering from a pretty serious bout of being ill), the planner is not very effective for its intended purpose. However, I do see how it could be very helpful for someone who closely wants to track their intake and their exercise.
The planner features blank monthly calendars at the front, some nutrition guides, and many daily pages where you can keep track of your food, sleep, water, fruit/veggie intake, and exercise. I think this would be very helpful for someone who is following a specific diet, especially something like Keto. The exercise tracker would also be helpful in a similar way. I am using it as a food diary and a place to write reflections while I recover. The planner is A5 sized and also has two ribbon book-markers and stickers! The only thing I would suggest is to include a handful of blank pages in the back for reflections, notes, lists, etc...
I am very, very impressed with the paper quality in this planner. The paper is bright white, which I love, and it handles my fountain pens (big surprise here b/c fountain pens aren't for every paper), highlighters, and other writing utensils beautifully. Overall, it's a very nice planner. Thank you Jubtic for sending me one to review.
Some places sell quarterly (90 day planners) if you don't want to commit a full year to a planner system you're not familiar with. It'll let you experience different ways of planning, and you can figure out what you like/dislike from each system in 3-month chunks.
Etsy should have some quarterly planner printables that you can buy and print at home since you already have those a5 rings.
Or another way is to try those planner stencils and experiment with the different setups that you are interested in and adjust as you figure out your preferences.
example, https://www.amazon.com/Stencils-Ultimate-Productivity-Templates-Scrapbook/dp/B08Z7TPRZM
This one on Amazon might be a good fit! It’s blank (6 months) so you can fill in what ever dates you need. The biggest downside to me is the months, weeks and days are all separate so it’s a lot of flipping but it’s not too inconvenient since I mostly look at daily and monthly spreads
Amazon has one for $20 without dates so you can use it whenever you need it for (max 6 months)
Pros- has monthly, weekly and daily spread for 6 months Has goal setting and reflection spaces Lots of space for planning, lists and notes
Cons- Months, weeks and days are split up (all the months at the beginning, then all the weeks together, then all the days. Lots of flipping around) You have to write in the dates which makes it flexible but also is time consuming
You can try looking into Nolty Listy 2. Nolty is one of the older Japanese planner brands (more info here). Listy 2 is horizontal much like Hobonichi Weeks format, but like a slim A5 size. I’m currently using the Listy 1 (vertical weekly) for this year. It’s like a more minimalistic version of Jibun Techo. The price is similar to the Weeks too. I think you can find it on Etsy or Amazon. Mine was bought directly from Amazon JP through a group buy.
A minor caveat though: it doesn’t have as much writing space in the back like Weeks Mega.
I use the clever fox premium weekly. It doesn’t exactly fit the description but it has a weekly task & habit page (on Amazon Canada)
They also have a Pro Premium version which looks like it might be more of what you’re looking for (again, on Amazon)
Thanks for asking, I got all my supplies including the Binder from Amazon. Hope this link works.
Maybe this
Not sure what month you want it to start, though. This one starts in July.
So basically notion is a software where you can use or make any kind of planners/template. All you have to do is go on notion make a free account and you can make your planners or duplicate the one I made and edit it as wish
So basically notion is a software where you can use or make any kind of planners/template. All you have to do is go on notion make a free account and you can make your planners or duplicate the one I made and edit it as wish
My favorite is the polaroid hi-print. Vibrant photos, adhesive backing, and most importantly, thin. I like the look of classic polaroids but they do bulk planners up quickly. I love the hi-prints because you can edit them within the app as well and you can trim them easily. It's about $100 but it's on sale for $75 right now on Amazon.
The Cambridge Limited Business Notebook is similar. The format is not identical but can be used the same way. It is for sale here.
A lot of planners have an academic year version (starting in summer), so that might be an option. Or an undated one of course.
Are you 100% against wirebound? If figuring out a whole system from scratch in a notebook doesn't appeal, then something like these would be a really cheap way to start:
https://www.amazon.com/Undated-Planner-Notebook-Planner-Binding/dp/B091F4B9M6/
https://www.amazon.com/Planner-Schedules-Appointment-Flexible-Twin-Wire/dp/B08L3B9F7C/
Another option for cheap binder: second hand. Loads of people buy planners then regret them. You could search ebay etc. for the binder you want, and hopefully get it quite a bit cheaper.

My current planner is made a dated, weekly, Kate Spade brand I got off Amazon. The stickers are useless to me, but otherwise it's pretty much exactly what I wanted in a planner with the exception of the weekend area to make entries. I removed the months that were gone and moved around all the lined pages, even the ones from the months I removed, and put where I wanted. I added in colored tabs, like, orange for neurology appointments, grey for primary appointments, etc. It's not a bullet journal but you could definitely use all the extra lined pages to make one. There's plenty of KS additional stuff available to purchase you can add as well. Overall its been one of the more well thought out, spiral, lay flat planners I've owned.
If you want a paperback, there's an "obscene" planner on Amazon I just love from Good Karma Journals. I got my daughter and best friend one. They have all kinds of journals, planners, and calendars. They're all paperback though and I'm not really a fan of that. The planners layout and stickers are great though. I'll link their Amazon in a reply

If you're wanting to make your own, I would HIGHLY recommend this journal, I've used it every year for 3 years now to help me organize everything in my hectic life.
Same pouches at a fraction of the price here
Kokuyo makes a B6 slim cover. There’s other brands on Amazon Japan as well.
Thank you all for your suggestions! Some of them where really good but unfortunately I can't buy something over $20.
Fortunately, I found something! This one (while more for middle school) fit my needs perfectly! It sucks that I'm going to have to waste half of the planner (since I only need the 2022 part of it) but it's a start.
I'm seriously considering going back to my Elementary School and buying the planner they use to hand out since those where laid out just like what I was looking for. Though it's been ~20 years since I was there so they might not even sell them anymore.
Again, thank you all! I really appreciate every comment!
Update. I found it best to look for the 18-month planner to get a better high quality planner than the dollar store. Here’s an example I found on Amazon. Thank everyone for the help and I hope this can help someone out!
2022 Monthly Planner - 18-Month Planner with Tabs & Pocket, Contacts and Passwords, 8.5" x 11", Thick Paper, Jul. 2021. - Dec. 2022, Twin-Wire Binding - White by Artfan https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08V18HHZ9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_C30YD9G4RT5GJQYRNAPD
My favorite is moon planner. I have recently bought it. One of the community member is helping me with the planning stuff since I am new planners.

You might want to try once. https://www.amazon.com/Moon-Planner-Weekly-Monthly-Undated/dp/B08R8CXQQG
I used this 65lb paper in my normal printer. I definitely feel like I could go slightly thinner, but wasn’t sure my first go around. I haven’t needed to go to the printer for anything!
This is the one I got for my dad last year and am going to get for this year, he's picky and specifically wanted a staple bound, slim, 8.5x11, monthly and that's the only one with a neutral cover I could find
House of Doolittle 2022 Economy Calendar Planner, Monthly, Black Cover, 8.5 x 11 Inches, December - January (HOD26002-22) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08VHM14SL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_JMDHD05YVDQ32RJJG1PP?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Maybe a weekly notepad would work. If you can find one that's letter size or A5 you can get a binder and hole punch the pages to store the used ones in.
Something like this with a habit tracker on it.
Weekly Planner Pad - to Do List Notepad 52 Sheets Size (A5 10.2 x 7.8") Weekly Schedule & Calendar, Habit Tracker https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07PXLZX4Y/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_Y3888YZ807RA04CG23PW?psc=1
Hobonichi English A6 for personal planning. I used and loved the Leuchtturm1917 this year but went through TWO of them because there weren't enough pages! If the Hobo A6 day-free had twice the pages, that would have been perfect but hopefully the dated pages on the techo won't throw me off.
I'm using this one for work. I used the Leucchtturm1917 B5 monthly planner for work this year, and it was a great fit, but I'm starting a new job soon and have slightly different needs. I used to use an earlier version of this planner for work and loved it for it's simplicity, room for appointments and lists, and minimization of the weekends (I try not to work weekends). The older version stuffed the monthly spread onto one page and had some nonsense "goal setting" stuff on the facing page, but this version fixes that! Plus tabs!
I don't have a Happy Planner, I actually just have a generic horizontal one from Walmart.
My personal method of planning is very much still evolving. At the moment, I put in any important things I need to do, like Next Monday I need to pay my credit card bill, so I'll put that in on Monday, and list appointments/meetings. Each day when I get home from work (or wake up on weekends), I've been making small to do lists for what I need to do (I'm currently starting to pack for moving back into school, so today's list was 'Do 2 loads of laundry, Pack books / notebooks, Pack one suitcase of clothes, Buy cleaning supplies'). Once school starts back up, I'll be listing any homework, events, and meetings that day. If it's a weekend and I have a lot to do, I'll probably make a to-do list for homework/projects that I want to work on. Occasionally I'll mark something fun I did afterwards for fun, like a date night or movie I watched, but I don't do too much of the memory/scrapbooking stuff otherwise.

Not sure if this is what you’re looking for but have a look at Ultimate Focus planner. It’s got the bullet journal layout but with lots of free space for notes and all that.
I'm having this same problem (ordered 10/12). got no shipping confirmation after over a week (and paid with express shipping) and also the planners went on sale for 40% off so i wanted to get a price adjustment. i emailed them everyday through their customer service email portal... radio silence.
finally commented on one of their social media posts on insta and i got a DM from them saying pretty much the same thing they told you (still no email communication). i'm going to try a chargeback on my credit card.
BUT what really pissed me off the most - they still advertise on the front page of their website that they do a "buy one, give one" donation system (one of their selling points). but when you go to the fine print in their customer service section, they say they've paused this because of covid-19. why are they still advertising it on their homepage then?
anyway, i'm done with them... i have ADHD too, so understand the planner need. i just placed an order for a custom planner through plum paper. in the meantime - im using one of these notepads to tide me over (1 day shipping from amazon!) - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B087H8ZCTB/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I got this set of tabs from Amazon and they are really sturdy https://smile.amazon.com/Planner-Monthly-stickers-Basics-Hobonichi/dp/B084ZZN3DY/ref=pd_rhf_ee_s_rp_c_2_8/134-5546075-4329655?pd_rd_w=P4laL&pf_rd_p=ed7432a7-5bfd-4aea-a57f-bcb3545eb697&pf_rd_r=862DF5G769NT6H499A55&pd_rd_r=a5e5aa5a-5c7a-4711-81ff-0c44641bfaa4&pd_rd_wg=51Cyj&pd_rd_i=B084ZZN3DY&psc=1
They do have several other tabs available, you just have to search for them. I hope this helps.
Hobonichi makes an english version you can get. I would suggest that! its also the A6 size, so its easy to travel with.
And I think Eccolo has that layout too, and it’s hard bound.

I use this caddy. Its meant as a diaper bag, but the compartments are the perfect size for sticker books. It also holds all my pens, my journal, washi, accessories, etc. I absolutely love it.
I’m trying to develop a planner based on these things as most available ones have never been quite right. I have a prototype available on KDP already - available now although not the final product yet- it’s still a WIP, and I hope to get it into proper mass production eventually. If you’re interested it’s here.
Hi! Those highlighters are Zebra Mildliners. I got the full pack (25 highlighters + 5 brush pens) at Costco for $30, but you can also buy specific color packs on Amazon. My favorite colors are from the packs "Noble" and "Refined" which are the colors you see in my spreads. Here's the amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/Zebra-Highlighter-Mildliner-Color-WKT7-5C-NC/dp/B0027MA9FA
Good luck and I hope you have a great school year!
Ah thanks for asking! Only on print-on-demand at Amazon at the moment, whilst I research and tweak them (and save up enough money to get them properly printed!)

Hi, yes! Its Lisa Frank! I am obsessed with all things unicorns and lisa frank. Those stickers are from a Lisa Frank sticker book from Amazon and the washi is also from Amazon in this washi bundle
I use an Inamio. In addition to the weekly spread, there are also annual pages, full monthly calendars to track whatever else you'd like, and extra square grid pages at the back. Good luck!
Also, if you want to use a lager bodied pen, just stick one of these on a laminated dashboard somewhere near the middle of all your pages, and you’re good to go!

I think the Elephant planner and other Papercode planners may work. If not check out the suggestions on the page. They tend to take you down a fun rabbit hole:

A quick search turned up nothing, but I know I’ve found a 3-hole A5 punch on Amazon before. I bought letter sized inserts and cut them down then punched them.

This planner changed my life. I have never kept up on a planner for longer than a week but this one has me using it every day for the last 4 months
Haha thank you! It’s the A5 Cousin size so it still gives me enough room to get everything written down. The stickers are these from Amazon. I highly recommend!
There’s a Dilbert 2019 Monthly/Weekly Calendar that is similar to what you had and seems to fit the bill. It’s on Amazon.
Not sure whether it has a pocket, but you can easily buy pockets that stick to your planner to cover that.

I use the Kokuyo one and am pretty happy with it.
I just checked out the 100 days Happiness Planner and I’m keeping it in mind for next time. I wanted to come back and share what I ended up getting since our lists were really similar. I got something on Amazon from a store called URSUNSHINE. It was less than $10 and I’m loving it. Mostly undated except it came with some calendar stickers that can be used as tabs. It has a monthly calendar spread followed by four really basic weekly spreads. I’ve been customizing the weekly spreads with some added stickers and creating some weekly checklists in the weekend boxes (bc I rarely use the weekend space anyway). There are some really nice inspirational sayings/photos at the beginning of each month and some goal setting stuff at the beginning but it’s really minimal which is something I like because I don’t feel like I’m missing the point if I don’t fully utilize it. Also a bunch of blank lined pages at the end which I’m using for the meeting notes I would ordinarily keep in-line with my old bucket journal setup. It has two ribbons so I can use one to mark my place in the weeklies and one in the notes section. I am really digging it so far!

This isn’t exactly it but the space next to each day might be big enough for you to work with. Time Factory Leaves 6.25" x 8" January -December 2019 Medium Weekly Monthly Planner (19-9220) https://www.amazon.com/dp/1683756959/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_90GGBb95AN5KW
If you google washi tape dispenser you'll find a lot of storage solutions. I have the one from We R Memory Keepers but it comes with washi incuded (not good if you already have a lot and are trying to downsize!)
Super late but hi! I make my own stickers by finding free printables and printing them at the library for $2. I cut them out and then put them through my Xyron sticker maker. It’s super tedious but it’s relaxing for me! Here’s the link to the machine I use. It’s not expensive as the machine itself is $7 And refills for the machine are $5 :) hope it helps!!

I really like my bloom planner! It's super cute and functional, too, and if you check around you can find them a bit cheaper than they are on Amazon (they retail for about $18, so it isn't bank-breaking to buy there either).
I got them from Amazon!

I found this on amazon for a friend and she really likes it. Although I don't know if it works for all sizes of happy planner.
If you do want the clip art, there was this thread which might be what you're looking for.
Thought a Day is the 5-year journal I have. I really like it. I have another journal for writing more, but I love this one for a quick synopsis.
I put the weather first in each entry. You know how people will say, "This December is so much different . . ." I've found most years are average. I think that part is fun. It's also nice to look back and see what you did last year on this date or what you were thinking. I really enjoy this journal but I think my next one might be the 10 year journal.
> You can just print them on regular paper cut them with scissors and use a glue stick.
I use Tomoe River paper for journal/watercolors/drawing and then I found http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007KNYCE?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_7&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER thanks to an order from Chicsparrow's website. I switched over to using this paper for all of my custom pages that require printing because its fountain pen friendly I can use my beloved fountain pens and some water color, and doesn't require babysitting when using a printer.
