I also do this with almost any receptacles now that I'm into plants. We bought these bits on amazon and my hubs drills drain holes for me.

They also come in a magenta pink and can be bought in all shapes and sizes, even as panels you can install in shelving units.

These paint pens. Once you've used them to draw/paint, you let it cure for 24 hours, then pop it in an oven for a while to set it fully. :)
