This is the free way to do it completely online with no local software.
1) Go to pixlr.com > Editor.
2) Open photo 1 from URL.
3) Open photo 2 from URL.
4) Copy and paste photo 2 onto photo 1.
5) Use the Opacity slider on the layer for photo 2 and change Opacity to 50% so you see a ghost type image overlay.
6) Use Edit > Free Transform and hold down Shift to resize photo 2 so that it aligns identically with photo 1. You may need to also rotate photo 2 so the alignment is correct. Just make sure to always use Shift when you are resizing so the photo retains its dimensions.
7) When you are sure you have the two photos lined-up as closely as possible, use the photo 2 Opacity slider and go back and forth from 0 to 100. This is what your GIF will look like.
8) Select the exact part of the image you'd like to turn into a GIF with the square tool and go to Image > Crop to crop the image.
9) With photo 2 opacity set to zero so you only see photo 1, select File > Save As and save as gif1.
10) With photo 2 layer opacity set to 100 so you only see photo 2, select File > Save As and save as gif2.
11) Go here: https://ezgif.com/maker
12) Click Choose Files and hold down Ctrl and select gif1 and then gif2.
13) Click Upload.
14) Put a check on "crossfade frames"
15) Set fader delay to 10 and frames to 20.
16) Bonus* I noticed my GIF didn't pause long enough on the last frame. You can fix this by going into the Frames setting and changing the delay of individual frames.
Some Polywatch will buff it right out. It's perfect for plastic (acrylic) crystals, I've used it a bunch. All the negative reviews are from dumbasses who tried to use it on a non-plastic crystal (e.g., eyeglasses)
Okay hear me out, because I know alot of people like to spend a fuck ton on watch rolls and fancy cases but.....

Foam lined, hard sided so you can toss it in a backpack. I've had mine for awhile now and I'm a huge fan. fits a good range too, my 36mm and 42mms are nice and secure in it

*edit* i just realized that one isnt available. if you do look for one, make sure it doesnt have any logo pins in the inside, and has a raised center to keep the watch from sliding around

I bought a cheapo on Amazon because I wasn’t convinced I would like a nato. Turns out I really dig it. Here’s the link: Benchmark Straps 20mm Slate Gray Ballistic Nylon NATO Watchband + Spring Bar Removal Tool https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0766NKMBL?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
I use several of these cases from Amazon for my watches with bracelets or rubber. Don’t be put off by the low price, a hard shell with padding is a hard shell with padding regardless of if it’s $15 or $150.
I just got a watch tool/repair kit off of Amazon. Inexpensive.

I got it on Amazon for like $10. Knew I wanted to go with a Bond style nato but wasn't sure I'd like how the classic color scheme so I went with the Craig colors.

I do have a suggestion after getting and letting several cheaper boxes go....I did not care for Wolf boxes at all. I did however find an unexpected gem in a catalogue at the AD. It is from a company called Bey Berk who sells all kinds of boxes and humidors, etc. It really is a solid box and and they have a range of cheaper and more expensive of course. This one can be found on Amazon as well. The pics don't do it justice and the woodgrain and lacquer on this really give it a great finish. Solid hinges as well unlike several other. Solid cushions and slots fit tightly together and securely. A ton or variety in the line in both seeing and cost....the catalog online doesn't have prices but you can find pricing elsewhere.

It’s a Q roll from Amazon, I just bought one the other day but returned it and went with Carapaz during their Black Friday sale. The Q roll is too big for my taste and the pillows feel cheap.
Cant beat those reviews. What are you doing, driving over your cases? Ffs. I love the hustle man, I do. But your shit is big, clunky, and aggressively overpriced. My case protects my collection, zips closed, AND clips onto my pants loop. Pretty sick.
You can fuck aaaaaaallllllllllllllllllllll the way off with this one. You’re referencing designer watch rolls (which are also tremendously overpriced). Just buy one of these, they work great.

It's the smell of Astroglide. SA's use it in the back for customers. You can get it here:
This is the one I bought. No longer available from this seller, but Amazon and Ebay still have similar tools. This is the BEST way to remove and reinstall a Rolex caseback. You can tension the tool against the watch so that it does not slip and cause any damage. It's very secure and has specialized fittings to match Rolex.
I use these for my expensive watches, they’re about as soft as you can get and they bring them up a charm without putting any swirls on them:

go on rolexforums.com and research watchmakers before you send it. places like RGM in Pennsylvania, Nesbitt's in Seattle, Rolliworks in Miami, even Bob's in Orange County. when you decide on one, call them first and have a chat about exactly what you want done. and write all of it on the work order that you send them. every AD and jeweler that sells Rolex will tell you they "have a watchmaker on staff" but you have no idea who they are. The 15XX series movements are pretty standard and any good watchmaker will know how to deal with it, but I don't trust any of them without checking them out. Whatever you do, as others have said, don't send it to Rolex for service. You definitely don't want it polished, and you don't want the dial messed with. If possible, keeping the hands is a big plus, but over time as they get taken off and put back on they wear out and eventually have to be replaced.
if you are in the US and have to ship a watch like this, I prefer USPS "Registered Mail." It's their most secure product and has the best insurance. FedEx and UPS's insurance on valuables like watches is terrible unless you're a commercial shipper (they have additional insurance themselves). USPS registered can be slow as hell but it's really safe. (every time the package moves it's signed for by a USPS person and it's locked up when it's not moving. you have to wrap the thing in the post office and sign it all over the place.) Take many timestamped pictures of the watch before you put it in the box, and pictures of the packing that you use. Small box within a large box, separated by paper and styrofoam nuts. Even use a throwaway travel watch case like this: https://amazon.com/Travel-Storage-Wristwatches-Watches-Cheopz/dp/B07F11FSGM/
congrats on this watch.
What’s your wrist size? I have a 6.75 inch wrist and I can go max to a 42mm x 16mm Memovox.
To test out if 42mm would fit, I bought a cheap 42mm Invicta diver that matched the size - worn it for a week night and day with no issues. You can try the same - search for “Invicta diver 42mm” in Google/Amazon/eBay - heres a cheap that is about the size as you Skydweller:

I use a timegrapher to quickly determine expected accuracy but I use an app to just take measurements over time to get an average. I use this one.

If you would rather something that looks like a service pouch, these are hard to beat for $10.

Got this one off Amazon last year when I got my Sub. Its a daily use watch so i only had it on winder when i was on vacation at Beach or other rare 2+ day occasion where i didnt use it. Worked well since its battery or usb cord, that way it would run in safe. Just recently added a Breitling so now ill alternate between wrist and winder depending on my mood.

Hi, I am collecting this watch tomorrow, I haven't payed yet but am slightly concerned about the "J" in datejust not having a top on it, I cannot see one like this anywhere else and am wondering if it's a fake dial. Any help with identification on this watch would be greatly appreciated :)
I know this is too late, and I'm sorry that happened to you. Tip: I put 3M clear bra on the left side of my MacBook just to save my watch. Macs are aluminum oxide and they would scratch my watches, but the clear bra saves them. It's thin enough that the MacBook closes ok with it on there.

Average price of a pro Diver Invicta is $50-$70
Based on these calculations, you could buy a new Invicta every day of the year. You could make an invicta chain. maybe even a necklace after the first week. We gotta start factoring in these possibilities

If the screw doesn't come off with medium twisting, STOP. You will need heat to soften the thread locker. Hair dryer on high for 3-4 mins should be enough. A heat gun would be better and faster.
This is what I used on my car and it worked really well. They have it going straight onto an applicator and then onto the surface. I might consider diluting it a little bit before putting it onto any watch, let alone a Rolex.

love this app. once a day you tell it what time your watch is reading and it tracks how slow or fast it's running.

Nope, wearing these above the knee shorts.
Ive used this stuff and a toothbrush before and it worked really well.
if you don't have that you can try alcohol and a toothbrush possibly? It has to be scrubbed off.. if you zoom on the pic to the links on the bottom middle of the pic you'll see all the black gunk that has built up over years. It is more about rubbing it off then the correct washing liquid, it just has to be scrubbed off. I was going to say toothpaste but then it would probably be stuck in all the links... so try alcohol and a scrubbing pad, or alcohol and a toothbrush.. just have to get it between the links. Those facial pads could be run thru the outside links and toothbrush for the inside.. The toothbrush worked great on mine I poured out the jewelry cleaner on the bracelet part over a cloth and soaked it then kept dipping the toothbrush and scrubbed away, worked great.
Get a winder. More then wearing out the seal/gears its a LOT easier to bend that stem when is popped out then you might think.
Winders are cheap these days. I got this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EDW9E80/
