I’ve see lots a great suggestions. Here’s the things that I won’t go without
-bring a collapsible hamper. It will fit in the closet under the hanging clothes. This one works wonderfully and folds up super flat. Mainstays Mesh Pop Up Laundry Hamper, White https://www.walmart.com/ip/136878840
-command hooks are your friend! Especially with kids and regardless of a balcony. I find wet suits don’t dry out there because of the humidity. I typically use 6 per room in various sizes/ strengthens. We hang towels, suits, coverups, lanyards, etc.
-Pack cruise approve extension cords. (I usually bring 2 per room) There is only one outlet near the beds which makes two people charging phones a challenge. I always fish the cord under the bed and we plug in between the beds. (Note: We always separate the beds because they are a very narrow king and we sleep better that way).
-Turkish Towels….hear me out, seasoned cruisers. Yes, The ship will provide to towels as you exit for a day in port. They are not giant but they still take up A TON of space. I always struggle to carry the towels for 4 people plus all the other things we need for the day off the ship. Next cruise, I am bringing 4 Turkish towels that will only be used for port days and will take up the same amount of space as 1.5 towels. When I get back to the room, I’ll hang them on one of my command hooks and they’ll dry fast because that’s what Turkish towels do. Here’s the ones I own (the instructions say don’t dry them in the dryer but that’s bogus. Been dryer-ing them since day one with no troubles.) Have a great time!!!
Search the forum - you'll find this travel router. I just bought one but haven't used it yet. Does require a bit of techie knowledge. Get the better one (TL-WR902AC) that does 5G also.

This is what the wife and I bought Worked great when walking over rocks and such. So glad we got them, much easier to walk around than with normal flip flips.
we cruised with our 21 month old and almost 4 year old a few weeks ago.
I believe for under 2 they automatically note for a pack and play. You can also ask your stateroom attendant for it. They are a bit random as far as sizing, there are mini ones and regular sized ones. there was a mini one in our room first and we asked and he brought us a regular size one. I definitely recommend bringing your own soft travel mattress that goes inside if your kid isn't used to sleeping on the hard bottom that is typical. (something like this, and stretchy sheets for it - https://smile.amazon.com/Mattress-Portable-Foldable-Tri-fold-Standard/dp/B08L7NVJVL/)
there's not a bag limit for the ship.
it may vary, but on boarding night at 7 there was a line to book your first 10 hours. then the next day you could book additional. sea days and evenings after 7 seemed to fill up first.
I ordered a cute on on Amazon, and you can have them punch a hole in it at guest services—- also if you are looking into things to add to your Amazon wish list I suggest getting these bags. I just got some in for my cruise in December and I’m excited to have a smaller water pouch to carry all my things in around port/ excursions Syncwire Waterproof Pouch Bag... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082V4LLK1?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Lanyard with a clip, and get them to punch a hole in the card at Guest Services. Get a lanyard where the clip is easily detachable — faster when you have to hand card over. I got one for three bucks in St. Maarten, but like this:
This is not exactly true anymore. You can not have anything with a surge protector. This one is ok:Cruise power strip
You are not allowed extension cords.
This one is also good to go for Royal Caribbean.
We just got off a cruise and had no issues with bringing this onboard. I was with a group and we all had one in our rooms. In fact, this particular one was on many lists that I read about ‘must haves’ for cruises so I had no idea they were prohibited?
Power Strip with USB - 2 Outlets... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081ZQKXN4?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
It was super helpful because there were only 2 outlets in the room by the vanity and we had at least 4 things to charge at a time (our phones/iPad/watches/AirPods).
We bring something like this so we only need one plug for our phones and tablets and game consoles etc. These are allowed on board.
Luggage tags are on the last page of your eDocs downloaded from your Account page on RCL website.
ProTip: order something like these luggage tags for greater certainty your bags will make it to your room. I bought a set more than a decade ago and still use them!
No, it has to be a legit bottle of wine. If you’ve ever bought a fifth (750mL) of liquor, you already know they look nothing like wine bottles. Everyone going on the cruise would get 2 of the darkest red wine bottles possible, have a little party where we all drank the wine (be careful not to let the wine drip down onto the label!), refill with favorite booze that’s tinted with blue/red food coloring, recork and seal with these https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B08R62XN53/ref=sspa_mw_detail_0?ie=UTF8&psc=1&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9kZXRhaWwp13NParams The tool used to recork was one of these https://www.amazon.com/Quick-Seal-Wine-Bottle-Re-Corker/dp/B005JN9P68 and omg there’s no way I could have done it myself. My fiancé was able to but he’s pretty damn strong just FYI.
There are other, more simple ways if you’re interested just DM me :)
The one way that is fool proof to bring liquor on board is using wine bottles. Pick darker bottles, drink or pour out wine. Fill with favorite beverage. Use a kit like in the link to cork and heat shrink, then just carry on. No one will question anything.
Technically yes, everyone has given you fantastic feedback on how it would work poorly but you can use a TP Link AC750 to accomplish what you're asking. It's a single piece of hardware that signs into your 1 cruise internet account, and broadcasts a unique network for your other devices to connect to.
This is true for iPhones. Perhaps you can Hotspot on an Android, don't know.
Since we're all iPhones, we uses the following device from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073TSK26W/
It took a little fiddling around to get the settings right, as well as using an external USB battery for power, but once it was set up all of my kids were able to share a single Internet connection. Of course, they need to be in the same general vicinity but the range is pretty good.
Bring a couple of strong magnet hangers like https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B015X9YH2O/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 We stick them to the ceiling and use them to hang our bathrobes (at the end of the bed) and to also hang up damp clothing to let it air dry - swimsuit covers, damp (but not dripping) swimsuits, etc. We also bought a Hanging Toiletry Bag that we could just hang on the inside of the bathroom door and have all our stuff organized and easy to grab.
Print and attach. You can "laminate" them using packing tape. Or, people buy plastic sleeves to stick them in...like this. https://www.amazon.com/Cruise-Luggage-holders-Steel-Locking/dp/B07D3Z3544/ref=mp_s_a_1_6?adgrpid=55465063905&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIhffEs5T29wIVtuzjBx3yuwTWEAAYASAAEgL63vD_BwE&hvadid=557205223110&hvdev=m&hvlocphy=9007447&hvnetw=g&am...
The rc ones fit in these wide ones, and so do tags from other lines. I don't like Amazon, but it's a good place to get obscure items.
You don't have to print in color, if that's a problem.
I bought these:
DIYMAG Magnetic Hooks, Strong... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077PZLX6M?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Or if you want to type it the title of the Amazon listing, it’s:
DIYMAG Magnetic Hooks, 22Lbs Strong Magnet Hooks for Kitchen, Home, Cruise, Workplace, Office and Garage, Pack of 20
I still haven't received a solid answer from Royal. So I decided to to purchase a battery bank instead that does power my CPAP.

I'm not prone to ANY sort of motion sickness but experienced it on my last cruise. I bought these on the ship so of course they were like double the price. Worked great. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076MSCX16/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_YS3ZDGF1HS68R2N55TJS?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
u/Substantial-Plant-73 - I get seasick occasionally, but the patch gave me ALL the side effects. I did get a bottle of non-drowsy motion sickness medicine from Amazon before my last trip and it was AWESOME to have it on hand even if i didn't need it. It was less than $8 for 100 pills. I keep the pills in my cruising travel bag now (with our magnet hooks and towel clips)

Here you go!!
Everyone needs to get a cup holder. Complete game changer while on board. Almost any 32oz one will work. The one I have isn't offered atr Amazon anymore but here's one...
If you have enough time, these holders are very useful. The tags can get ripped off the bag if paper, and these hold the tags pretty well. I attach them before getting to the port, then just hand the bags to the porter and off they go.

I use a hand corking machine from when I used to home-brew mead, but my dad does it by soaking the corks and just pressing them in by hand.
At least, he did, until I loaned him my corker. It's 100x easier and was like twenty bucks: https://smile.amazon.com/Bottle-Standard-Belgian-Synthetic-Plastic/dp/B07KJ6QN7
I just needs to not have a surge protector on the power strip.
I have brought this one several times with no issues. It has a 5 ft cord.
Power Strip with USB C, 3 Outlets... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07V32PJ59?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Nothing official that I read about, however I did read that royal Caribbean doesn't like anything with a cord. I got this one and didnt have any issues on the one cruise I have taken.

Luggage tags are, as others have indicated, located in the back pages of your cruise documents.
I recommend buying these. I have a set I bought for my first cruise more than 10 years ago, and I've used them on every trip since.
If you’re going on a ship that has the tap cards instead of the ones with the stripe and barcode (I know the Odyssey is one of them), they won’t punch a hole in the card.
These come in handy in that case.
For the lanyard, I recommend getting one that has a retractable reel as well as a detachable clip.
We asked the cruise ship to punch a hole in our card sea card so that we could easily open our cabin door without having to remove the sea card from the plastic lanyard case. The detachable clip is useful if you have the drink package.
I purchased this one but it is currently sold out:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TT4KTBN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This one says it has overload protection. I know that surge protection is not allowed. Are strips with overload protection okay? I'm guessing it will probably depend on the person inspecting your luggage.
FYI - I brought this one onboard to our trip last week. No issues:

Over the door shoe holder. Easy way to keep organized; I toss in my wallet, sea pass card, sunglasses, etc. so they don't get lost in an otherwise cluttered stateroom. If you have extra slots you could use them for shoes as well, I suppose!
To add to your power strip comment: only three strips per stateroom. They will confiscate the others. My suggestion: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D25RSWX/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_A6SAEHSWJ5ESMZ1RC1WA?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
This is one we've found to be super useful on cruises: Anker Power Strip with USB, 5 ft Extension Cord, PowerPort Cube USB with 3 Outlets and 3 USB Ports, Portable Design, Overload Protection for iPhone XS/XR, Compact for Travel, Cruise Ship, and Office https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D25RSWX/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_A6SAEHSWJ5ESMZ1RC1WA?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
My personal favorite are these extra large zip lock bags that I use to put sandy clothes in at the end of the trip before re-packing my suitcase
We’ve used one of these on the last few trips. You toss your dirty stuff in with some detergent and just agitate by hand, rinse well, hang out to dry and you’re good to go.

It’s White, comes with a case and a couple USB-C cords. I paid about $60 in July 2021.
I don’t know why this Amazon listing looks different now.
The patches are over the counter. My friend got these and gave me her extras... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L3PMRX9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_VSZDXZS6CQC0JX58EZQ6?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Ive never needed anything but Bonine.
If it is RFID and not encrypted then you could use this to clone someone else's cup. (I have not tried it, but I have used one to copy other RFID fobs)
That sounds like a great idea! I just ordered these: https://www.amazon.com/Tropical-Drink-Recipes-Playing-Cards/dp/1880760533/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=card+deck+drink+recipe&qid=1618545538&sr=8-4 and may do the same on my cruise.
No if you buy the hotspot off Amazon.
