TL;DR

1. Trash scanlations has picked up a large number of series.

   • People are mad since older series are often forgotten. Some people see this as them holding chapters hostage for more donations.
     
   • Trash picks up series when they're not busy, but find themselves understaffed when staff are at school.
     

2. Trash pushes their patreon page and constantly ask for donations.

   • Translators who only translate for fun usually only need $$ for raws. People see that Trash has 1k/month patreon, and see them as a for profit group. "No-group" translated a couple of chapters ahead of trash in a short time to try to prove how they don't need 1k+/month.
   • This I'm not 100% sure, but Trash staff probably have a fair amount of people who are working/students. They give up some of their free time in exchange for $$$. People are just paying for faster releases.

3. Trash pressures rival groups to drop their series when there is questionable ownership.

   • Trash says to read their "official" scanlations which they technically don't have any rights to at the moment. Trash sees themselves as official as they're in the process of trying to acquire a license. Also, OP posts website of what seems to be an official website for some series they're working on which seems to contradicts trash's "official" status.
   • Trash has claimed to be supportive of the authors, but OP's pictures seem to have watermarks on their scanlations from a pirate site. Trash has multiple TL/teams working on different series, so it might just be a case of miscommunication.
