I got it at Michaels, I think it's their brand. It's small but I love being able to take the pages out and also add as many pages as I want. I tried finding similar ones online and didn't see any! This one is kinda similar: https://www.amazon.com/MINLIN-Binder-Scrapbook-Wedding-Insert/dp/B07L6VXQP5?th=1
There is a pre-made product for making flip up elements. They come in multiple sizes. Simple Stories Photo Flips
Yeah, I have those nice plastic boxes within another plastic box (e.g. https://www.amazon.com/Photo-Case-Storage-Craft-Keeper/dp/B08X4CR3WM) for organizing photos, but I have a LOT of loose sheets to deal with.
Blech, lol.
If you want a particular fox how about getting some plain card, an adding fox die cuts.

On the alphas, I couldn't find the original listing on Ali and didn't want to sift through Pages of search results. Amazon had my back, the "Alphabet Capital Lowercase" option is the same font I used. I assume it comes with 52 letters (26 caps, 26 lower), I don't know though, I didn't purchase this listing. They probably will come wired together so ready your wire snippers if you buy these.
They are a Prime listing so that's nice, you'll not have to wait 4 weeks.
I have these!! Here is an Amazon link to a multi pack of them! Only thing is these ones don’t have sticky backs so you’ll need to use adhesive!
You might want to invest in a mini photo printer. They print wallet sized prints. You can use 1-2 pics next to any other little scrap you can dig up. I also found the world lacking in paper scraps so I just save the literal garbage, like the bags for purchases if they have a logo on it and cut that sort of thing out and paste into my books along with the mini photo. Someone else mentioned hotel brochures which I also use.
There are a few different types of envelopes to store things on a scrapbook page. I’ve had no problem using these in the past. You could also make an envelope out of card stock and it would provide a bit of padding.

I agree 100% I have many shoeboxes. Not only filled with memorabilia. There's one I thought was comically large for my tiny feet. It's an 11" square. I store silly scissors, markers, pens and paint. I just want to show off my birthday present here. In the middle I added drawer inserts. Where I store scraps of different color paper. The top is cabinets where I hid stacks of fabric, and other messy looking things. This is my desk. It has a gigantic cutting board on top. I love my setup. For Christmas, I want a cricut. I know in your previous post you said you have one. I heard that the Cricut Air can't cut color paper. Is that true?
This is EVERYTHING you need to know. With colorful guidelines and layouts. I love these books and I've been scrapbooking for almost 20 years. If you look at my post herstory you can see one of my scrapbook pages. Happy scrapping.
It's not the answer to your question, but Google Font has a big selection of free use fonts, I don't know if there are a lot of elaborate, themey fonts, but there are definitely some good stylized fonts in the mix. You'll probably find the most interesting ones by filtering by handwritten and display fonts.
Etsy is a good source for replacement themed fonts.
You can look for pocket pages which is going to be page protectors segmented so something like this
You can also buy a box of photosafe 8.5x11 page protectors and mix those in for 5x7s or 8x10s or other larger sizes. I got a box of 250 8.5x11 page protectors from Sam's Club for like $10, which is kind of crazy because the office store was selling like 25 or 50 for the same price.
You can look for 12x12 if you prefer, they'll fit more pictures per sleeve, but they tebd to be more expensive.
I either print the "ticket" out onto white paper and decorate the background, print it onto pale patterned paper, or make a little ticket shaped thing with the details on - the closest example I can find to show what I'm on about is this sort of thing, but made physically rather than on a computer:

Would it help to use online tools like palette generators or color wheels?
You'd pick one color and color science kicks back nice, coordinating colors.
I'm assuming you run Windows, which I haven't for years, so I don't have any first-hand experience with any recent applications, but the freebie Bricelam's ImageResizer gets a few mentions. Here's a guide on how to use it. You can install it by itself or as part of a pack of utilities called PowerToys.
I use this. Works great for me.
You could try photo pockets. I like the four to a page ones that fit in 8.5x11 binders. They hold the 3.5x5 prints or cropped 4x6. Then you can scrapbook little 3.5x5 “pages” to fit in some of the pockets for journaling. You can also journal on journaling cards and stick them in the photo slots. I usually use snap fish or Winkflash, and they have an option that if your picture is a funny aspect ratio, rather than making you resize it, it will just print a white band on the extra edges. Then I crop that off. That way I don’t have to worry if they’re cropping it wrong, and I don’t have to do it. The cheapest prints are 4x6 and need cropping anyway.

Have you thought of getting a set of cheap number stamps. There are several on Amazon.. you can get flat ones too that you acne use with plastic cd case covers
I use a lot of pictures per page too, and this is my go to. So far it’s kept my pictures down for 3+ years, but they are in plastic sleeves
I use some rougher paper too, and it doesn’t seem to be an issue.

This is great!!! Sometimes layouts really show their age, but this is pretty timeless still! This scissor set on Amazon has a Stamp edge scissor if your feeling Fiskars-y
I have used something similar to you before, photo corners. They allow you to just slip in and out in different photos as you wish. They also come in heaps of different colours and designs. amazon photo corners
Like others have said, photo corners are the perfect option.
Here’s a couple of examples from Amazon. You can get clear like these or multicolored like these.
I like the clear so they aren’t obvious, but as you can see they get pretty ornate and colorful, too.
You can also get customizeable stamps in a variety of styles. Like a regular stamp but they come with a bunch of letters you can swap in and out to create your own message.
We R Memory Keepers Ring 12 x 12 Photo Sleeve Protectors Variety 20 Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BM29DZM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Eoo3DbY51XY75 I have some of these and you can put papers in sleeves and maybe some cards.
I would invest in the paper cutter. They really are not very expensive--i have what I imagine is probably the smallest size and it works for my everyday crafting needs.
You can also try folding, licking the edge, and tearing paper. I do that and actually really like the soft edge you get. Just practice a bit and as long as you fold straight, you'll get straight pieces from it.
P.S. Here's a 12 inch cutter from Amazon, I have the same size but different brand. This one is under $11: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075NYWF5P/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_tFiYDbC67CWHZ
I print cards onto 4x6 cardstock using my PM-400. I like this paper: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AR9277C/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I was thinking photo corners as well, but also these https://www.amazon.com/Deluxe-Currency-Holder-Semi-Rigid-Collecting/dp/B000SKXKAY
If I were you, I'd Google scrapbook layouts. Look for styles that catch your eye. Notice what makes a beautiful scrapbook page or not. Keep in mind though that Google will be showing the better pages out there though. I'm in a scrapbook layout group on Facebook that has nothing but people's pages they submit. Look there and notice what you like and dislike. There's even places that sell kits of paper and a diagram of how to cut everything so it's foolproof. Like Scrapbook Generation. Good luck, feel free to ask more questions if needed.
When I make something and want the stuff in the scrapbook to be unharmed and removable I either use something like this or this. I really like the glue dots, but be careful because there are permanent ones. As for saving money, my best advice is when you go to Joann or Michael's never go without a coupon. They ALWAYS have coupons, usually 50% off a single item. They also frequently have scrapbook paper sales. Try buying expensive stuff one at a time so you can get 50% off everything. Also Joann usually lets you stack coupons.
Ooh. Apparently there's now a solution for the pen/marker issue.

This is probably not what you're looking for but you got me thinking about it with the journaling/scrapbooking combination idea. Have you heard of SmashBook? I haven't used it personally, I just remember seeing it awhile ago and kind of liking the idea. But it looks like it'd get big once it started to accumulate stuff, so I'm not sure if it'd be right for you. I kind of want one.
Oh that may work. i'm using a 7.25" x 8" book, so it isn't going to be that big, but i'm debating between using that machine or just getting this with an inkjet:
Well here's the thing, I'm getting a book that's going to be like custom made for the cover and basically i need to stick things into the pages. I was thinking of buying this to apply adhesive to my printed papers and sticking it into the book. http://www.amazon.com/Xyron-XRN500-Create---Sticker-Machine/dp/B000WWGANC/ref=sr_1_1?s=arts-crafts&ie=UTF8&qid=1439782783&sr=1-1&keywords=sticker+printer
