Penny! Such a pretty girl :) My pei has to wear diapers too.. We bought a few from Amazon, they're reusable doggy diapers and they've been a life saver.. Easy to put on and so easy to clean. You can either clean them in the sink or throw them in the washer. If it's something you're interested in, here's the link.. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077HR4NLX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_TGaUBbH8CY1K5
They have helped us tremendously!
Hi, I also have a 7 month old Shar Pei. When he was about 3 months old he also developed the same thing. I assumed it was the heat here in Florida but I also saw some red spots. I tried to take him to the vet as soon as I noticed but they could not squeeze me in that weekend. I decided to try something out in the meantime to make sure he feels better. I bought him this shampoo called veterinary formula clinical care. I got him the purple bottle and he is doing great now! It’s a very cheap shampoo but it saved me a visit to the vet. I bathe him every week since he suffers from dry skin and that worked out for me! I hope this helps you out. veterinary formula clinical care
I use a 5280Dog harness. The name means nothing to me either, but it's what is on the tag. She hasn't managed to pull out of it. I originally bought it at petco, but Amazon seems to have it also.
This is the ear cleaner that I use that my vet recommended:

This is the most recent version. Blueberry
Previously she wore a 5280dog harness, but she's gotten a little pudgy and it was too snug. I couldn't find the same brand again.
Why raw food? Nutritionally a high quality kibble such as this one is considerably more balanced and uniform in regards to an even supply of vitamins, amino-acids and an even constant supply of macro-nutrients.
I understand that you think you are going with raw food "the extra mile" to care and love your dog, but please consider that the hyperactivity could also be a sign of an endocrinal response to the lack of certain trace elements included in a high quality kibble, but largely lacking in raw food (e.g. iodine, certain minerals etc.).
My suggestion: Try kibble for one month - one month will not hurt - and see how she does.
My pei is a horse coat and this brush works amazingly even on her short hair. Pet Grooming Brush Effectively Reduces Shedding By Up To 95% Professional Deshedding Tool For Dogs And Cats (Blue) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M5DS0Z7?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
Which Zymox did you use? I've used this one for years, and most recently I have been trying out this one.
Make sure you hold the tip right in the ear canal as deep as you can and then before putting it in the other ear, massage the ear and area around it to work the medicine deep into the ear. Fold the ear over and rub a little, pull it out some in case any folds inside the ear are preventing the med from getting way in there. Then before letting your pei shake it all out, hold the head and do the next ear. Then massage both ears all around the base for a few seconds. Now let him shake it all out.
I usually take a pet wipe or tissue and wipe the obvious excess that is outside of the ear off after a few minutes, and then I go in and get all the gunks she shook out with a tissue, and keep checking for more gunk throughout the day after she keeps shaking it out. Depending on how they're looking, if she's still shaking a lot, itching her ears, etc I'll repeat the process again the next day.
You should probably get him a different cone, those made out of plastic are a pain in the ass.

You can take the cone off as long as u keep an eye on ur pei, having it on day and night could be a nightmare. Take off when ur pei is just chilling on the couch:bed
