Is it actually harsh stubble or just darker peach fuzz? 1 id actually probably go to a doctor about to make sure your hormones are okay. Where as if its just darker peach fuzz I feel ya, and I use this
It works well. Painless and has lasted me like 2ish years so far no battery changes even lol. They also make a brow one with a little light and I find it pretty helpful for them too. Been trying to get my bushy natural brows back but not have them look terrible in the long haul.
Why what?
Why is it horribly written? How about this sentence: "If you have a low budget and want urgent perfect razor regardless that it’s made from plastic, then Wilkinson sword classic is a good choice." If English is your first language, you should be ashamed of yourself.
Why is it wrong? Let's try "Lord L6 is the cheapest metal razor you will find in the market." Um, no. And the RiMei shaves a helluvalot better than the Lord.
I could go on (and on, and on) about how bad your blog post is. Obviously, though, you're just trying to draw clicks so that people can follow them to your sponsored links. I sincerely hope that doesn't happen. Because bullshit like this should not be encouraged.

If you're looking for something specifically on amazon, then I would recommend taylor of old bond street either sandalwood or avocado. Both lather very well. Additionally, my wife makes shave soaps that lather very well, her products is called mason boutique shave soaps. My favorites are Octane, Bobcat, Maya, and TLM.
Alum block. Hands down. So cheap and it lasts for years. Here is the one I use.
I would look into using a cheaper vintage single edge razors that would help with this trouble.
I use a vintage Schick Injector razor - speccifically the L1 version. This razor is the one I use to keep the 'ol plum and grapes clean. I use it because it is rather forgiving in that area and is easy to get the angle correct to not cut yourself.
I also use these blades with it.
I think with blades (you don't need as many as in that link) and the Injector - you should be around $20-30 USD which I think would get ya off to a good start. If it doesn't work for you - sell it on the Bazaar and collect some of the funds back.
I think this is the kind of razor that you wanted to order. Sounds like you ordered blades for a DE safety razor.
Thanks for the thorough reply. What do you think about that badger? That's what I've been using, might be worth changing also
My brother, I had been fighting that same problem for YEARS. It was a nightmare. I switched to a double edge safety razor and that helped. But what finally solved the problem for me is exfoliation.
I bought one of these and use it religiously every day. It took a little while but I can honestly say I haven't had the problem in a few years.
I also use a scrub brush on my beard in the shower.
For this purpose I (and my wife) use a Philips Norelco Bodygroom Series 1100, Showerproof Body Hair Trimmer and Groomer. 20$, single battery, cuts short, but not too short. Amazon Smile link.
Ha! Excellent comment u/monolith177 ! That's a great way to put it! :)
There is actually a difference in the can labeling from the old style to the new style. There is a person who actually posted pictures in his review on Amazon. You can find that here:

Haven't used any of the gillettes since.
Here's a corded beard trimmer, it'll get the job done.
Knock down the hair with that super quick and then use a safety razor to get down to the skin. Or wax the whole thing.
I'm not sure if silicone grease is safe, clipper oil is specifically for this, but sometimes it's just marketing for a generic product.
This one is the closest I've ever found. It manages as close a shave as pretty much any disposable razor, although not quite as close as a safety razor.
Andis Profoil Lithium Plus Titanium Foil Shaver 17200, Black/Gray, 1 Count https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NJ61YYW/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_TTK9V19KB1W01GPD4SRX
To get such an insanely close shave with an electric razor, it has very thin foils. They're easy to tear up if you mistreat them. You also can't get it wet, so there's a bit more irritation involved than your average electric. I use it when I need a closer shave than my Phillips can give me, since I've got a few unfortunately placed moles and hitting them with a razor results in a lot of pain, not to mention a preposterous amount of blood.
When I first started I found my first DE handle not comfortable. My second has been outstanding for 10 years at this point. Great weight and thickness for a good grip. I use this for face and head ..silly smooth.
Bonus is it is adjustable, though I always use the same setting.
Best of luck on your journey!!
I'll make a recommendation that is a bit advanced, but hear me out!
I've had a lot of success with a single-blade razor. I would get razor burn and sometimes ingrown hairs when I used the fancy multiple-blade drugstore razors. Single-blade razors take a bit of practice but they tend to be much more gentle to your skin. I shave after a hot shower. I splash hot water on my face, apply a good shaving cream to my wet face, keep my razor warmed up under hot water, do a pass, then re-lather and do a second and sometimes third pass. I learned from watching YouTube videos.
I use my grandfather's safety razor from the 1960s, but you can get something like this from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/King-C-Gillette-Platinum-Refills/dp/B08FF44M1H/ref=sr_1_1_sspa
Also, the double edge razor blades that these use are SUPER inexpensive. You can get 100 for $15. Each is good for a few shaves. If you shave everyday, that's $15 for the year pretty much.
I love my safety razor, gives a great clean shave with little to no razor burn. A problem I have even with the most expensive cartridge razors. I have a Parker butterfly safety razor handle and really like the Parker blades. I also have another cheap handle I use with the Dorco Prime blades. The Parker is excellent for shaving my head, the cheap handle does a great job of trimming my neck for my beard. I’m all in at around $45 and have a great shaving setup that has lasted me around 3 years and I still have probably a hundred blades left before I need to purchase more. For reference here is the Parker handle and blades I use: Parker 96R - Long Handle Butterfly Open Safety Razor & 5 Parker Premium Platinum Double Edge Razor blades https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002IFFSOS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_G2FDZTTNE0A0QVM2G55V?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1. I liked the blades so much I got a large box and have been using them ever since.
Oh I bet it's this one.
nope, bought a pack of single side https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DIW3VHG/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_T7JCRGYTG49RJFF54XSH?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
ill keep that in mind. i was able to do my face with no issue, but failed with my arm so i should assume that
Ahh puberty, I had to start shaving at 10/11 and then properly shaving every other day at 13, that was embarrassing for a while at school until I realised I was just hitting puberty earlier than most other people.
Hair growth is normal but can darker haired people tend to see it more and if your father or even uncles on your mothers side are particularly hairy then yes very normal.
As to the acne, you might have to let your skin heal a bit, keep the hair trimmed with clippers to a stubble but don't go to hard with them and make sure you keep your face clean with a face wash for your skin type, some of the medicated acne washes will dry your skin out.
When your face is better I would start learning to use a Dual Edge Safety Razor (I wish I learned this when I was your age) with good sharp blades I highly recommend Feather blades.
Shower first so the beard is softened, then use a pre-shave oil (water soluble) I use this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B017EUKJU4
Use a good shaving soap or cream prepped in a shaving bowl and lather up the beard with a bush.
Shave with very light pressure, barely pressing it to your skin, with the direction of the hair growth. Lather up again and shave perpendicular to the hair growth for a closer shave but might be too early for your skin. Against the growth for a third pass will give you a really close shave but I wouldn't do that yet.
When you are done use an alum block on your face (might sting but will help prevent breakouts and contract the pores)
Then use a good aftershave balm for your skin type, I really like the Nivea Sensitive.
There are some great guides on youtube on how to prep and shave well and making sure your razor angle is right etc.
Shaving is ritual, don't rush it
My last tip would be to shower and shave a couple of hours before bed.
Phillips do a body groomer https://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-Showerproof-Groomer-Attachment-Comfort/dp/B07B36BQGH
I have thick body hair and while it can take a while it does a good job.
Go with the safety razor. Go with something like the Merkur 34C (https://www.amazon.com/Merkur-Mk34c-Double-Razor-Handle/dp/B002A8JO1Q/ref=sr_1_2?crid=3HGZWUDABGIG2&keywords=mk-34c&qid=1647590419&s=beauty&sprefix=mk-34c%2Cbeauty%2C122&sr=1-2. I have been using it for about a year. I have tried more advanced/severe DE safety razors, but none of them are any better than that one. Get that and a blade sample pack (https://www.amazon.com/s?k=de+razor+blade+sample+pack&i=beauty&crid=2S6C89JXQ7AI8&sprefix=DE+razor%2Cbeauty%2C97&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_4_8). That way you can find the right blade for you. I personally use Feather blades in mine. I am one of those fellows that has a 5 o'clock shadow at 1... and this is amazing for me. I will never go back to electric or cartridge. When you start getting more facial hair invest in a decent electric for shaping and thinning... but DE all the way for the actual shave.
Yes, that's a good sampler pack. Plus I've purchased razors and blades from that seller and his prices are good, plus he ships very quickly. I like the Shark stainless plus the Derby Extra in my Gillette Tech and Weshi TTO.
I own this razor bought it 3 weeks ago, it’s a great starter razor . I also would recommend to buy a set, it helps to find the perfect blades for You. Like those https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07Q78JKQS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_W06X98E62B06RKXMVQMX?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Get him into wet shaving. Dramatically improved my skin. 10 yrs so far. And most wet shavers actually enjoy shaving. Edwin Jagger and Merkur make good razors. Then just buy a box of 100 blades for like $10 to last 2 yrs. And a decent badger brush. I e had this razor for 10 yrs. https://www.amazon.com/Edwin-Jagger-Double-Safety-Regular/dp/B003LW4L2W/ref=mp_s_a_1_13_mod_primary_new?crid=4SYLJY7N9SYA&keywords=edwin+jagger+safety+razor+set&qid=1642782236&sbo=RZvfv%2F%2FHxDF%2BO5021pAnSA%3D%3D&sprefix=edwin+ja...

These are both good, I have one of each and have had them for years, replacing them occasionally every couple of years. They work good in a pinch, but realize that they aren't going to get as close as something like an ARC 5 that has higher powered motors. Also to note, you can find used ARC 5's on ebay and such as well for cheaper than paying $150.
Good luck
Double edge safety razor of your choice, a variety pack of blades to figure out what you like, a soap & brush to create lather, optionally a bowl to do that it (some people lather on the skin).
Muhle has this. Very reputable brand and that particular one is marketed as a body razor, but I have no experience with it, it just came to mind.
Usually beginners start with a cheaper mild razor and then graduate to something more aggressive, possibly of a more buy-it-for-life build quality. Also depends how often you shave and how coarse the hair is, with thicker, longer hair benefiting from a more aggressive razor for better efficiency and requiring fewer passes.
Why safety razors over cartridge? Mainly less irritation, and to save money. The blades only cost a few cents a piece and should last multiple shaves before getting dull.
Why soap over canned shaving cream? Much higher density lather, for a better buffer to protect the skin, and also the lubricating action is the water suspended in the soap, rather than chemicals found in canned cream which can irritate skin.
I highly reccomend the parker brand for beginners. It can use just about any DE blade half ( I use astra platinums in the shop) or even the pricier feather straight blades. I do suggest against the sliding style as the often don't hold blades very consistently. Feather shavettes are amazing but they're often close to 10x the price.
No, I actually found it! Checked my order history from 2016 on Amazon lol.
This is a great razor.
how many shaves do you get out of bic metal? I'm guessing you are referring to this part
For that price I'd be looking at a proper set of clippers. More power, and no blades to replace or batteries to wear out. I have these and they work great for head, beard, and body. You can buy more combs or use them with no guard.

Nivea post shave balm (sensitive) has been my go to for years now. Nice light aroma, easily affordable and findable, and just works great. Definitely worth a shot.
> do all braun series 3 chargers work with this
Yup, looks like you want Braun part# 7091051 / 7030145, which will work just fine for your series 3, and runs about $27 bucks at wally world (type 5779 is even listed on that page).
> Is it possible that the battery has died in the last 10 years that it hasnt been used
I've seen a ton of anecdotal and 'FAQ' information on this, and many say NiMH can be stored for years at a time and be fine, upwards even to 10-15 years. When coming out of storage, make sure to run the battery through 2-3 charge/discharge cycles, after which the final capacity should be conditioned. At that point, the cell should be within 95% of it's capacity will stick, with the optimum capacity stabilizing after 40 cycles, and degrading thereafter with each charge.
If it refuses to charge at all coming out of storage, a different charger can be tried, but will be tricky since these are customized NiMH AAs. You might have to de-solder them to remove, rig some hack to charge via the alternate charger; something like a couple neodymium magnets soldered to wires, completing a circuit between the batteries and the charger's electrodes (~1.4-1.5v is the target voltage, but the charger should detect that for you).
However, if the batteries prove to be good after a couple charges, you might not need to muck with it at all. I have had a 340 for about 7 years now, still runs like a champ with zero maintenance, aside from changing out the heads periodically.
This is a tall order. You would typically want a trimmer for your body but a razor or shaver for the face. This is designed for both: Philips Norelco OneBlade I have used it on my face and beard and it works very well.
Buy a drain strainer. Or two.
They're about $3-4 per piece on Amazon & perhaps less at your local Megamall or hardware store.
i use arc5 for face
but few weeks ago started using this for head, every other day, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001CS8BJ6/
I do use it with creamo, but in just 3 mins I have smooth head.
first time shaving the head, loving it
I got a variety pack of blades from Amazon - samples of something like 15 different configurations. There's definitely a difference, but I don't remember what they were since I shave 1-2 times a week and am fully bearded, so 1 blade lasts a long time. I wish I could offer more advice, maybe get a set like this: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XLMZ0LI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and get a feel for what works for you.
If you're interested in traditional wet shaving you can pick something up pretty cheap off Amazon to try it out. In the UK for example they have their own exclusive Edwin Jager (a well known and regarded wet shave razor maker - popular choice for me starters) for £15, even comes with 5 Derby Extra blades to get you started (link below). I personally own this and get good results with it.
https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00K6Z24SK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_RQ0668V4DX8EVSRT2AKT
In the interests of full disclosure though there is a learning curve to wet shaving, but frankly it's worth it for the results.
Oh, I see. You'll never get a better body shave than a wet shave. I've personally done it. I used this... The key is to find a non aggressive head for the shave and use lathered soap, not foam.
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0713ZT5TM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It's a women's razor, but that's the point.
Ah, then maybe something like this will work. I don't know how close the shave would be with one of these, but it's at least something to look into. I doubt anything other than the traditional flat-blade trimmers with clips will leave everything at a #2.
Philips Norelco Shaver 5300 , Black, 1 Count https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0842YL126/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_FQ9FP2ZEP1FQXFDWX9G5
Probably so you'll have to buy another product.
If you want to keep stubble, nothing beats the Conair I-stubble. I love mine.
I personally use a 3 blade disposal razor to shave down there.
If you want an electric shaver, I heard this product is one of the best

read the reviews and bewildered !
I was so happy with it that I bought 2 ! now I have an extra that I seldom use
If you're going single blade I'd go with a gentle aggressiveness head. I've bought this cheap ass chinese thing twice(I dropped my first one on stairs and it snapped) I bought it again and it is still as amazing as the first one. I can shave recklessly because it hasn't the aggressiveness of my other DE heads.
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07L3VX86N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o08_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Oh, and I use Astra blades, if that matters at all.
I'm not hail corporating here, but this chineseium head works so freaking well.
I use Astra blade myself, they're like 17 bucks for 100 blades, next to free. I also got this cheap DE Chinese head and handle that shaves so gently is basically like a Mach 3. I literally can't seem to cut myself.
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07L3VX86N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o08_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I recommend you try it, for 13 bucks canadian its nearly free. Won't be a big mistake if you don't like it.
I'm from Croatia. Like I said, I'm willing to give a safety razor a try, but I was only able to find King C Gillette safety razor in my shops here, so for now that seems to be an easy choice https://www.amazon.com/King-C-Gillette-Platinum-Refills/dp/B08FF44M1H?ref_=d6k_applink_bb_marketplace Have you heard of it, do you think it can be a solid place to start? Or do you have something else in mind? Just take note I'm from Croatia.
I'll also take a look into shaving shops. Thus far I usually shaved by making my skin moist, putting on a shaving cream on my syntethic brush and making a lather. I thought this was sufficient?
Again though I highly recommend getting a proper razor at some point, you can't beat it. Something like this would be a safe start: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00K6Z24SK/ and buy a sampler pack of blades--the right blade will make all the difference in the world.
I think I will, along with a Trafagular T3 unless you know of any better brushes in the £30/40 price range? don't have to be synthetic but I don't want something really small.
I have also seen a lot of reviews about Schick blades working better than those ones that come with the razor, are these the correct ones for the Supply 2.0?
I had to buy a new razor recently and just went with the VdH at Target. The blades that come with it are... ok. Definitely not something I’d try for ATG passes. I recommend looking into Astra Superior Platinum blades.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001QY8QXM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_ZMPNTZSXN5ZDXG8K5K4F
I’ve been wet shaving for just over a decade now and those blades are so good, I’ve had zero motivation to buy anything else. Furthermore that case of 100 literally lasts me years. I’m just about out of blades and will be buying it again for a third time.
Got this the other day because I was having the same problem as you. I've only used it once but it seems to do the job very well with minimal irritation. The nice part about it is that it has a shaver that works in part with a foil shaver to get the longer hairs then shorter hairs. It also comes with a few guards, I think #3,5,7, if you want to take it to a certain length.
I'm here in the sub looking for a replacement of my Braun series 9.
The original blades were grat, but after getting dull I bought a replacement foil. It's horrible. It gets dull after a few months and it doesn't do it's job, and it's really expensive.
Before you buy, please go to Amazon or whereever you usualy get your reviews and look up Braun series 9 replacemend head / foil. Here's one: link.
So yeah, I'm looking for a replacement for my Series 9 in other producers. Braun is awesome but their replacement stuff is horribly overpriced and with bad, bad quality.
This is probably your best option. It's a pivoting head razor that uses half DE blades and can be loaded with 1, 2, or 3 blades. It's not a cheap razor, but there's minimal waste and the shave from it should be familiar (disclaimer, I haven't used the Leaf).
My brother-in-law shaves with a OneBlade Core (pivoting head single edge razor) which uses Feather FHS-10 blades, but those blades are a little pricey.
OP, if you end up going with something that uses bare blades, make sure to pick up a blade bank like this and dispose of the blades properly like any other sharps.
So this one has been awesome. Probably had it at least 4 or 5 years. But honestly, they're cheap and amazon has a bunch of different ones.

If you want ceramic, I like my Brio clippers.
One tip with the body groom though.... Go. Slow.... Trust me. Only times (probably like 4) i've nicked myself I was trying to do the job on my privates way too fast....
WEISHI Nostalgic Long Handle Butterfly Open Double Edge Safety Razor. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PKHIDRA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_7XHAGTZDW310GK1BG7AK
I use this and I use the blades that come with it, I use hot water and soap
Just really kind of depends on what kind of hair we are talking about. Thick stubble or peach fuzz. The first one is basically a straight blade but it's feathered, used it in cosmo school for bald fades and the neck/cheek area. Practice on some leg hair its like a normal razor for the most part, and it seems unlikely to cut the skin even if you go back and forth on it really fast, as long as the angle is correct and they dont have sensitive skin. Second one is for fine hair like your eye brows but works well on every small area with peach fuzz. As for the hair on the mole, tweezers. So the tweezers hurt less do it in the bathroom right after a hot shower when your pores are more open, bonus points if you exfoliate your face in the shower too.
Thanks man! I ended up buying this:
Professional Barber Straight Edge... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086HVN3TR?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I couldn’t pass on the price. I also like that I don’t need a plastic insert. Only thing I miss is being able to get my neck on 4 swipes.
I just bought this one -->Facón Professional Classic Straight Edge Barber Razor
Good shavette. Lets you get the feel of shaving with a straight blade without the cost. If you can't get the hang of the technique, you didn't waste much money.
I use an electric trimmer with a 5mm comb attachment. It's pretty easy to trim everything down to the 5mm length. Might have to approach from a few angles to get the curly woorlys that try to avoid your cut but the comb keeps things comfortably far from the blade.
The longer hairs are less likely to cause itching. But it is a good idea to shower right after a trim and scrub the fresh cut hairs good with a cloth or natural sponge to help soften the fresh cut ends a bit.
idk if you have tried this already but I kept on hearing people tell me to exfoliate over and over and well yes I did that but it made ZERO difference.
What actually got rid of my ingrown hairs was using a topical antiseptic cream. This will kill the bacteria that can cause red bumps.
I use this antiseptic cream. This got rid of my problem pretty quick. I'd say within 1 week of applying it once a day after a shower my red bumps were almost gone. Be patient as it will still take at least 4 days to see a difference. I have sensitive skin and have never had a burning reaction from this because it contains no alcohol.

I buzz my hair regularly (once a week) and the (Remington Virtually Indestructible)[https://www.amazon.com/Remington-Virtually-Indestructible-Haircut-Clippers/dp/B01AWM98IA] has been great for me. You can also get a balder blade that gets even closer. I have my wife do my neck with it.
I think of buying this one, you think it's alright? It apparently is very lightweight and made from plastic based from the reviews.
A product called Tend Skin helps me reduce the frequency of ingrown hairs on my face. I don't shave my legs, but I do notice I get more bumps on my thighs if I get vigorous with scrubbing in the shower. So exfoliating may actually be making it worse. Years ago I started using one of these and I'll never look back. It's scrubby by itself, so as long as you just soap down, don't do any "extra" scrubbing, it does the exfoliation. I have to focus on not going extra on my thighs and it works. I'd get red spots on my thighs all the time, now I barely get any. I think what happens is you have a bump, then you want to get rid of it so you scrub and exfoliate extra well (or you just scrub too much to begin with), but this irritates the tip of the bump prompting your skin to grow over it, making it worse.
Saftey razor and alum block! The alum block was a game changer
Have had this for almost three years! Best purchase ever. Wet it and rub over the face after a shave

I have been shaving a long time and for the past 10 years of so I shave with the Gillette Sensor Plus2 and Marlow 141. I have 5 o'clock shadow at 3PM in the afternoon and at night if I go out I have to shave again so I have tough beard. I have used a lot of razors and shave creams including a brush and nothing beats what I use now, IMO. I do make sure I put warm/hot water on my face before shaving. The disposable razors last me a long time - two weeks.

I would suggest a safety razor. Using one blade vs multiple will reduce tugging. You can get a set for pretty cheap. I'll link a set below. Using a shaving brush and quality shaving cream (not the gel in a can stuff) can help too. I'd also suggest getting a sample pack of different brands of razor blades. Different blades work better for different people. Rinse the blade often as you shave and wash your beard with warm water before shaving (I shave right after a shower). I hope this helps! Oh, there are tutorials on YouTube to get more familiar with shaving tips. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FNCHT39/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_u41NFb0YCAH3Z?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I’ve been on a safety razor for about 5 years now and love it but am curious what makes straight razors so appealing. I’m also hesitant as I have no clue how to use one. Found this shavette on Amazon, comes with 100 blades.
I loved the DSC shave butter, and bought this on amazon https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OX5ZDI2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 it's pretty similar, smells like almonds :)
Exfoliate 12-24 hours before your shave & use a razor with a single blade. Shave with the grain.
Waterless by Venus makes a single blade razor. Spare cartridges are available on Amazon. Search for Gillette Guard cartridges.
Use a good shaving cream, such as Cremo cream.
DO NOT USE the gel in the handle - it's terrible.
>I’ve never even tried one, but if it’s a solid option, I may just pony up and buy one to see how it goes.

TEN SHAVING SECRETS 😎 - Sterilize tools w soap/hot water/rubbing alcohol - Only 1-2 blades - Shaving cream+steam 2min prep - 1-2 slow, short passes per area - Don’t press so hard - Shave WITH the grain - Shave 6 days apart - No lotion/Yes aftershave - No super tight clothes - Exfoliate daily https://www.amazon.com/Exfoliating-Brush-Treat-Prevent-Ingrown/dp/B07NSBV7K6
They are just different handles. DE is the safety razor and DE stands for double edge.
Blades are blades. They are universal generally speaking.

Hope that helps.
You get in-sink strainers with a mesh in them. Put one in your sink when you shave. Remove it after shaving & clean the hair, which can be thrown into the pot.
Something like this.
I was thinking something more like this:
A foil shaver. The only problem is that it really won't shave your balls very well but then again neither will that Philips razor.
Honestly, get yourself a Gillette Fusion 3 blade razor. That's really the best for shaving anywhere.
I'd suggest these, they've been the best combo I've found since I started shaving regularly about 6 or 7 years ago:

May need to watch a couple videos on how to use a double egde safety razor but it's super easy.
If a girl I really can't get enough of this little guy for peach fuzz, this
if guy, im a girl but on my legs, I use the mens Philips norelco for sensitive skin, which has the same kind of round razor head that the flawless has but geared toward getting at a thicker mens hair and potentially a lot less irritating for you.
I had razor bumps on my lower neck all my life with cartridge razors. Hated it and it looked terrible. Switched out to double edge blade shaving (safety razor) and my life changed - I never get bumps anymore. My theory is the cartridge (multiple blade edges) traps bacteria between the blades and that gets transferred to your skin. Shave with the grain only - it won't be as close a shave by feel as cartridge and use very light pressure to avoid cuts at first - and use witch hazel with no alcohol added and you will probably notice a drastic improvement. Don't try against the grain at first if you are prone to bumps. A cheapish DE razor on amazon in the $15 range is enough to start. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q2DJ921/ref=vp_d_ac_sub_sp_pd?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B07Q2DJ921&pd_rd_w=zjcww&pf_rd_p=6122deb2-dfc1-405a-86fc-7d64ecbd18fa&pf_rd_r=dddfe93a-75a4-4c10-94e0-7be578bea3ca&pd_rd_r=dddfe93a-75a4-4c10-94e0-7be578bea3ca&pd_rd_wg=ZoXlS Get a blade sampler kit to try different brands of blades. $20 total cost to start. Lots of YT videos on how to shave properly with DE.
Closely read the user reviews on the " Phillips Norelco One" on Amazon. Sounds frightening.
> " ... I've been purchasing scar ointment here on Amazon to try and get my face back to the way it was before I bout this amazing new technology contraption. "

Not sure why disposables upset you. There are so many types & varieties, & price standards. Seems the trouble might be shaving techniques. These too have many variables, styles, etc.
Could you be more clear & specific? Ingrown hairs - because you shave against the grain? Or because the friction of the skin is too much for the razor pressure?
I'm interested in whether multi-bladed systems work better than single bladed. Plastic vs metal. Women vs Men styles. Expensive brands vs Cheap brands. Plain water on oily skin, vs shaving-cream-clean skin.
Also, how quickly do blades wear out. Once or many times usage? Interested in what methods you have tried to stop ingrown hairs.
The engineers & scientists in these industries have lots of competitive insider knowledge & research. It'd be interesting to read this.
Not a razor but I use magic shave powder.
It’s not made for the pubic area but I read on some sub women raving about it. Then I saw some amazon reviews and figured I’d give it a shot.
I’ve been using it over a year. I keep it applied to my penis, balls, everywhere for maybe 5 minutes and then wash off in the shower. And literally every speck of hair comes off. You just mix the powder with water until you get a paste consistency.
Op, I use Andis T-Outliner. Been using it for almost a decade. It is a boss and gets real close.

You’re irritating your skin and not properly cutting the hairs. You needs to get the shaving cream under each hair so that it is raised and can be easily cut off. That is what gives you a clean shave. Please buy something like the below.

Actually I found it available on Amazon for $200 so it’s within my budget. Thanks for the recommendation!
I also found the Braun Series 5 5030s for $80 less. Do you know what the Series 7 does better than the Series 5 that may make the additional $80 worth it?
