Here's an app for your phone, it suggests an adapter right away:

Ofc if you're on iPhone, now you know what to put in the Appstore.
Install the cable by routing it through from the back of the glovebox compartment and hold in place with some stick on cable tidies.
Alternatively, does your Fabia have the little drawer to the side of the steering wheel? You could do the same there to be more handy to access your phone when you get out of the car.

There are quite a few chargers that would fit in the tray, the only problem I see is that you need another cable to connect it to the USBC port.
In my case, I don't find wireless recharging useful, as I need to have my phone plugged in in order to have all the apps on the console anyway. I'm on Android.

I wanted to follow this up to say I also had an issue with the port receding into the housing. Seems like they don't clip it in property at the factory. On closer inspection I required a USB-C to Mini USB cable to power Nextbase 622GW.
I went with a 90 degree USB-C to USB adapter and a 30cm USB to Mini USB Cable. This allows the dashcam to sit on the passenger side of the windscreen, completely out of driving view behind the rearview mirror.
This is the one I used:
Duttek USB C to Micro USB Cable,Micro USB To USB C Cable, 90 Degree Type USB C to Micro USB Cable,Short Micro USB C Cable for Macbook Pro & Android Devices (25cm/10 Inch) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B078163B16/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_K315DZYG9BJWRXPJ00XQ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I guess any usb c power cable should work but my dash cam came with a different size of cable and I found it hard to come by a short one that would power the camera. I’ll also warn you that I managed to dislodge the port and cause it to recede into the housing just by pushing the cable in so be gentle with it. They did fix it for me but implied that I was at fault.
Integal and a few other no name companies do low profile micro SD card to USB readers. You could put your choice of capacity of SD card in one.

Sandisk also do their 'Fit' range of low profile USB drives.
Yeah seriously nobody uses it and it’s so slow, you’ll be waiting 5 minutes just for it to turn on etc. So I’d completely avoid it. I’m sure it was great 10 years ago, but no longer.
Anyway, I actually just use a phone mounted on the bottom right corner of the windscreen as to not block my vision and have an Alexa Auto in the car: Echo Auto | Add Alexa to your car https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B078YP59TT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_3KJAD3C4QX3AS2DNEBZ3
That plugs into the 3.5 aux and connects to your phone via Bluetooth. So you can listen to your music, have your satnav directions come out over the speakers and any Waze traffic/police alerts etc come through clearly.
Use moisture traps in the car overnight until the problem stops https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kontrol-Streamline-Moisture-Absorber-Traps/dp/B00H37RF3I/ref=asc_df_B00H37RF3I/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=344357221916&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=5663680227674872385&hvpone=&hvptwo=&...
There are dongles for Apple: For example
They seem to be absurdly expensive imo, and they don't exactly come from name brands so I don't know how much I'd trust them. You'll have to do some research, I'd imagine.
Looks very clean! Great to see another black one (I to have a black VRS estate 2017 facelift 2.0 Petrol DSG) Highly recommend changing the interior lights to LEDs. Makes the cabin more special, did it on mine last week and thinks it’s the best cosmetic change I’ve made to it. The reading lights are really easy to do - the footwell ones are harder.
As it’s a diesel if it has no warranty then a remap (re-programming of the ECU) is highly recommended. My father had an Octavia Scout (has the same engine as yours) and it was getting 210 BHP after it was done. It went like a spaceship and the torque was immense. If it has warranty then leave for now as you don’t want to void it.
Oh I also threw these on with the number plates but being a European one I have no idea what size plates you have (I’m in the UK) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191765474076 LED lights bought from here KATUR 194 LED Light Bulb 6000K... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0728J4FQZ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Thank you for answering, but unfortunately that's not quite what I am looking for.. I forgot to put an example of what I meant, which would have made this request more accurate. So basically "shields" above the windows
Congrats on your purchase! I made the same move (Leon to superb) and it’s a huge jump! (We need some pictures!) I bought one of those vent ones with the rubber grips from amazon, although with CarPlay I stopped using it and now I just leave my phone in the box under the radio.
This is the holder I got (and gave up on...) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01DKEXKCW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_xC16EbRB3QMBS
