As mentioned in another reply, I can access Sofi when using ProtonVPN.
But it's really about getting more for my money. At the time APY was significantly above Ally making the move a no-brainer, plus $300 bonus, plus 3% with credit card.
Ally is matching APY now and i've just about maxed the credit card bonus, so likely moving money back to Ally as I kept bill pay there.
Here is the RH support article on it: https://robinhood.com/us/en/support/articles/transfer-stocks-out-of-your-robinhood-account/ Also, when transferring be aware that only full shares will transfer. Any fractional shares will be sold and left as cash balance in your RH account. Additionally, as most crypto threads will tell you, RH and SoFi are not the best places for holding crypto as you don’t actually control the keys. If you already have it it’s obviously fine to keep, but look into other services where you actually have control over the crypto.
And if you think that is bad, Simple which has a $250 bonus offer each for up to 2 accounts for depositing $10,000 in each account ( https://www.simple.com/offer-v1) is worse as I used the same exact information which even works for SoFi and got rejected as follows and calling them, they do not even know why I was declined (i.e. credit/banking history and identity information).

this may sound silly, but have you tried using the mobile site from the desktop browser?
you can use the browser developer tools to do it.
press F12 to open developer tools, then use the shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+M or click the little icon on the top of the developer pane.
press F12 again to close developer tools and go back to normal.
here are instructions for chrome:
https://www.browserstack.com/guide/view-mobile-version-of-website-on-chrome
not sure if that works, i don't have the credit card to test it. but the app is really hosting a version of the mobile website from what i can tell.
you can also do it from edge, firefox... basically every desktop browser has this feature.
