Hi there. I ordered and used this exact card reader for my iPad Air with USB-C port and my Sony a6000. Depending on which iPad model you have, I'd imagine you could find a reader by this brand with a lightning end, or get a lightning-to-USB-C adapter.

EDIT: This is only needed for WiFi transfer. If using a cable, the phone just shows up as an external storage drive on my phone, same a it would in Windows.

The alternative of course, is to just take the memory card out and stick it in your computer to get the files, then use something like Capture One Express to do the editing

Unfortunately no. It’s all manual. It’s not that bad I have other pictures of this moment but it was focused on the ball and backboard. I’m not going to lie though, I have missed some moving shots, but I linked it below very cheap adapter.

Theres a pretty cheap course on udemy.com called "The Unofficial Guide to Sony's a600, a6300 and a 6500". Even though those other models are mentioned the course is exclusively on the a6000. It walks you through the menus and functions of the camera. Helped me out alot when I first got mine.
