UV flashlight to check bills. Every store should have one, but they're pretty cheap JiC yours doesn't. Like 10 bucks.
I used to carry my own box cutter since most of the time the store's cutter is duller than plastic knives on the condiment bar. Something like this is cheap, small, clips to your pocket.
I guess it depends on the store, but I always wore a watch, almost always a GSHOCK with multiple alarms (to keep track of breaks/tasks/shift changes/etc), stopwatch, and hourly chime. Barring wearing a watch, a small portable alarm clock with a clear, easy-to-read face.
I keep an Olfa Touch-Knife on my keychain - it's something I picked up at another job but it was really handy to have. The knives are sharp, so gotta be careful. Also, pretty sure Starbucks frowns on having non-safety box cutters in their stores (like the blue ones with the clear shield that retract when you push down). I also don't pay $6 each - more like $1 Canadian Peso, but don't have a good US source.
Other than that, nametag in my bag, Sharpie + pen in my pocket (would put my name on the Sharpie using a label maker and had a distinct pen - Muji. We were a label store so they only got used a few times per shift.), had my own timer from the store I'd keep in my bag since they'd grow legs and I was normally CS. Sometimes I had some disposable gloves in my bag for drains, bathrooms or ovens, but we did okay for those, generally speaking. And I guess a Starbucks hat - health code didn't require it, but I enjoyed it? And I got away with wearing my watch, removed it on my first day per the sub, but management said it was fine and no one ever said no (and never saw QASA).
As a Honduran barista I can testify it’s an amazing strong coffee. There’s a few more Honduran roasts that you might be able to find on Amazon with a similar taste to Marcala.

You attach them to one of these kids' math boards. When you push a button, it stays up so the support partner can get a quick visual on what needs to be stocked. My store has been using one for years but it was outdated and a lot of the buttons were broken haha

Hi OP! I have seven piercings in my ears (cartilage and lobe) and I got them all while working in food service. When I got mine, I wasn’t wearing a headset and they got badly infected and irritated so I definitely wouldn’t do it while wearing one since those might irritate or bring on infection. If you do choose to get them pierced, I would recommend that you wipe your headset down with the alcohol wipes before putting it on, and buy a good sterile solution to help you keep the piercings themselves clean. I prefer the “Steri-Wash” brand cleaner- I used it on my most recent piercings and they helped super well! I linked it below just in case. If you do get them done, you’ll have to post a picture of your new studs!

I struggled with this super bad as well, it ended up infecting some of the cuts I had on my arm from work (I’m a hot mess), and was super itchy and the dishwashing gloves at work kinda suck so I found these gloves on Amazon that are super long and heat resistant, (I can grab stuff straight out of the Hobart!), and honestly it really saved my skin.

Basically, yes. In the back, you should have an amp with a series of volume knobs on it. Ours has three inputs and a master. Connected to that should be a smaller box, attached with either an aux or RCA cable. Either way, you should have a standard 3.5mm aux connection there somewhere. There's three setups that we've gone through so far.
Setup 1; If you unplug the aux, and put it into your phone, then it acts just like headphones. Keep the amp turned off while you swap stuff around, or you can damage stuff.
Setup 2; Get a bluetooth speaker with a headphone jack, aka aux OUT. Plug aux into that and connect to phone, play music as usual.
Setup 3(Current); Since we have a multi-input amp, you can have it so you don't actually need to change wires at all, just adjust the volume for two inputs. We got a long-range BlueTooth receiver (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HVXBGGX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and hooked it up to the second input with RCA cables. You can either connect using personal phones, or use an old junk phone like we did with a store Spotify account(This bit requires your SM, since they'd have to approve the monthly subscription on the store credit card[P-card]).
Our basic rules are; No explicit or suggestive songs while cafe is open; If a customer complains about the music choice, offer to change it; if using a store device like we are, only shifts should know the passcode to access anything other than Spotify. Basically, if you wouldn't want a child or your grandma to hear it, don't play it.
If you want, I can DM you pictures of our setup when I go in tonight, since this subreddit might have issues with that(It is technically store property and that sort of picture sharing is against Rule 2)
I had plantar facsiitis for years in a previous retail job, FitFlop, Dansko, and Vionic are the shoes that work for me. I stole probably 50 from target while I worked there. It wasn’t intentional, but I would stick them in my pocket and just forget to take it back. They are similar to this, though not exactly the same.
Those are for if I’m actually breaking down boxes. If you just need to cut the tape, or it opening a mocha or bean box I use my name tag. It works great and doesn’t cut through the packaging.

Shoes are the one thing I've learned to spend money on. I've started having a bit of back pain and stuff so I invest in really good pairs of shoes. I have 2 pairs of work boots from Ariat.
These work wonderfully, saved my toes when a part of the ovens fell one day while I was warming and slammed hard on my foot. They're so comfortable and worth it!

I understand how expensive surgeries are here in the US but I found these that can be used with a bra in the meantime. If you're not comfortable wearing a bra in public you could wear them at home and it could help you get used to the feeling of a bra and more weight on your chest.

The installation process is....overly complicated lol. You have to install the Intelligent Hub app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.airwatch.androidagent) which I think (???) is related to the Partner Hub app on the computers and iPads, and then install the Teamworks app from the Starbucks "App Cafe". I finally got the app to actually install, but all I ever see is a continuous spinning circle when I open it.
It was a local buy from a bulk grocery store but I found the same one on amazon here it’s just more expensive online than where I bought it. We added a little higher quality matcha and some torani vanilla syrup and it was bomb
