In an effort to save brick and mortar comic shops/stores, Marvel has been letting them get trade paperbacks ahead of their general release date. Been a thing for awhile. It will release everywhere on the 22nd., the November 5th date was changed many, many weeks ago.
The Exar Kun arc can be found in the Tales of the Jedi comic series. Specifically, the Dark Lords of the Sith and The Sith War collections. Amazon Links Here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1569710953/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_US-uwb2YNXFZB

Whenever I see one of these post, I mention Saga canno recommend enough.

This is an oversized hardcover collecting the Han Solo miniseries and Smuggler's Moon arc of the 2015 Star Wars series. Here (never updated their placeholder cover)
Darth Vader (2017) is a great starting point for canon! It begins here: Star Wars: Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith Vol. 1: Imperial Machine (Star Wars: Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith (2017), 1) https://www.amazon.com/dp/1302907441/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_156BR9QX3CG063DB02GW

Age of Rebellion has a confirmed special via the Amazon listing. It's included in the Villains TPB.
They’ve already been snapped up. None now available.

Amazon is showing me at least one copy here, under the "Show All Buying Options" tab.
May not help depending on your location.
Life day stuff is the closet we get to Christmas- there’s more then that comic though- there’s the LIFE DAY TREASURY which is a bunch of short stories from around the galaxy and around the timeline of life day. Beautiful art and great small story’s :) https://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Life-Day-Treasury/dp/1368070884
It's unlikely they'll be reprinted anytime soon. As for Lando and Chewbacca, you can get the Star Wars: Heroes for a New Hope omnibus that collected both of those minis, along with the Princess Leia mini-series, for about $20 new.
respectable amount of timothy zahn books but no thrawn trilogy? my friend, you need the thrawn trilogy. https://www.amazon.com/Thrawn-Trilogy-Boxed-Set-Legends/dp/0593499581/ref=sr_1_8?crid=2WSV852L3WP1M&keywords=thrawn+trilogy&qid=1650629982&sprefix=thrawn+trilogy%2Caps%2C318&sr=8-8
The Obi Wan Kenobi issue of the recent (canon) Age of Republic series is a short story where he is learning his role as master and relationship with Anakin. The stories for that series are generally simple because each one is standalone but I enjoy it enough to recommend it because the author definitely understands them thoroughly.

The Anakin issue is probably better but is set during the Clone Wars so barely has Obi-Wan in it, let alone any training. That one scene with the two of them is a nice conversation and if you were asking for canon prequel stories I'd probably recommend the whole series but Legends OT is kinda the opposite.
Full details:
Splendid fan-made Star Wars comic that details how Jyn Erso ended up incarcerated in that Imperial prison she was broken out of in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
IDW did collect all the Star Wars comics strips into three hardcovers, but they're now out of print. It'd make sense for Marvel to publish them in a single omnibus, but will they?
There's also a huge sale going on at TFAW that I already took advantage of.
Seems like a good as place as any to advertise this, lol.
edit: I nearly had a heart attack before I realized these are digital comics.
42 is the first appearance of Boba Fett. This is also newsstand edition (has the barcode). This has the possibility of being worth something but it has scribblings in pen. Luckily most of it is in the white area and can be cleaned up. However I see some deep markings also made by a pen, a press could fix that.
If you know nothing about comics, cleaning them,or the grading system; It might be best to find a friend that's into them, either pay them to clean it up or just sell it to them. However since it's your dads, I recommend keeping it, maybe getting a case for it to display/protect from UV rays.
They're certainly entertaining, but if you're going to get 'em, I'd recommend getting the hardcovers -- one collects the prequel trilogy and the other the original trilogy -- instead of the individual adaptations. Sadly, there's been no hardcover collecting the sequel trilogy.
Its probably not then. I don't know enough of the EU.
It is! https://castbox.fm/channel/Comics-With-Kenobi-id1087676?country=us
Most podcast apps have access to it. It's also on Spotify, if that's more your style. (Apologies for my late reply to you!)
IDW also released adaptations of the Prequel Trilogies as separate softcover graphic novels and ahardcover collection, too. As to why they didn't include it in the boxed set that's due out Nov. 10 is known only to IDW.
So they are presumably one offs with no future issues? I was thinking about getting the War of The Bounty Hunters Companion but was unsure if I should wait in case future issues were released. If they are just a one and done I might pick it up.
Cant add a pic to a reply but here is what I meant and have.....https://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Skywalker-Adaptation-Adaptations/dp/1684056861/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=Rise+of+Skywalker+Comic+Adaptation&qid=1624639156&sr=8-1

I enjoy the film adaptations.
The IDW versions are excellent but normally they are printed too small. The two ‘Graphic Novel’ versions of the Original Trilogy and Prequel Trilogy are larger, excellent and actually capture the spirit of the movies really well.
From Marvel, the adaptations of Rogue One and Solo are really great!!! - and the Sequels are OK.
Yes. There's trade paperbacks for Star Wars comics, typically collecting 6ish issues (an arc). There's also hardcovers which collect even more issues, but only for some series. There's also a scant few omnibuses which collect entire runs.
For example, if you mean Pak's run the first trade paperback is out.
The colors aren’t the same but the simple composition reminds me of the 1978 pop up book. Star Wars a Pop-Up Book No 35 in the Pop Up book series https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000JD0MRE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_ytGQFbE63RK3A
I mean, Amazon listings aren't always accurate. This solicitation professes to collect issues that don't even exist.
Yes they do on amazon. This is the first volume btw
It’s the collection of Jason Aaron’s 2015 SW run that includes issues 15-25.

Surely they mean the individual comics? I can’t imagine they are seriously not going to release a Trade Paperback eventually? They are releasing the more Disney style version. I don't know if you managed to snag a copy yet, but if not, the hardcover is back in stock on Amazon UK.
This is the correct response. Grievous' debut is the central focus of The Clone Wars Epic Collection Volume 3 and he features prominently, with a much more intimidating presence and efficacy than the new Canon. You can get it for $27 on Amazon or for $23 on InstockTrades - need to spend $50 at the latter site for free shipping but there's a lot of great Star Wars TPBs on there for cheaper than Amazon.

As discussed, you have 2 different comics here. The one on the left is Darth Vader Dark Lord of the Sith Volume 1 in which volume 2 hasn’t been released yet (if you want digital comics of 13-25 message me!). This takes place immediately after ROTS and is AMAZING!!!! The other comic you have is just the Darth Vader series in which you are missing the following...
This series takes place between ANH and ESB.
The Rebellion Special is included in the Villains TPB.
Marvel has been very good about day-and-date publishing for their comics.
This should be it here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Star-Wars-Rogue-Cassian-Annual-ebook/dp/B0719W6BXV/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1510429591&sr=1-1&keywords=Rogue+One+Cassian
https://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Box-Set-Slipcase/dp/1302903942
This has the adaptations for Episodes I-VII. Shattered Empire and C-3PO Special. The first twelve issues of Star Wars and Darth Vader. And Princess Leia, Lando and Chewbacca minies.
The only hardcover not included is the Kanan Omnibus.
And Darth Vader vol. 2 and Star Wars vol. 2 will come out soon too.
Yeah, it collects the Princess Leia, Lando, and Chewbacca series. It doesn't show up with an Amazon search (at least for me) so here's the link- Star Wars: Heroes For a New Hope https://www.amazon.com/dp/1302902237/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_JdxYybTE7TRP4
After issue 13. Probably at least a year after.
The hardcover will likely be a collection of the first two paperbacks. The second one comes out in July:
Here are the two choices on Amazon:
Star Wars: Obi-Wan & Anakin (Obi-Wan & Anakin (2016)) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HC6H7S2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_8nG4xb2NP236H
Obi-Wan & Anakin (2016) #1 (of 5) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019ZWYLO4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_HoG4xbN4D5DNA
I assume you're talking about the Hardcovers? Marvel's hardcovers (~12 issues) typically combine two trade paperbacks and an Omnibus would usually have 30+ issues.
Details haven't been revealed about Star Wars HC vol 2 yet. Amazon has details about SW HC vol 1 and DV HC vol 2. But those aren't being released until September and next February respectively. Marvel's paperbacks usually run 6ish months after the issues are released, and the hardcovers lag another 6 months behind the paperbacks.
A quick (more specific) search yielded great results...
Thanks again!
That would be Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
