This bothers me quite a bit actually. I want to be able to buy a replica jersey that looks exactly like the ones on the ice. If players are wearing Adidas branded jerseys, why the heck would I want a jersey with Fanatics branding? It's a slap in the face. It's as if the NHL is like, "you don't know what you want, but we do. Here's a jersey that's made just for the fans."
Another thing that you guys didn't touch on in the podcast was something mentioned in this article: > Fanatics officials say they plan to improve the appearance of jerseys. Because the jerseys looked too bulky for fans who didn't wear pads under them, the company has created a stretch fabric that fits better.
I mean come on... Stretch fabric? I don't want some 'form-fitting', made for the fans hockey jersey. I want to look like the guys on the ice. And for God's sake. It's a hockey jersey. It's supposed to be loose and bulky. It's actually ridiculous that this is happening.
It’s better than most but I have my own favourite: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01K1HPA60/
I don’t trim down to the bare skin though. I leave 1-2mm of stubble to prevent chafing. In areas where I don’t want any hair at all, not even stubble like near the leg bend, I finish the job with this: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0896TKVF9/
