You need to download acestream (i promise it's not a virus!). Once you have done that copy the link, go to acestream, choose Media (top left) -> open network stream -> paste your link. Takes a while to get going but when it does it's smoooooth. If you can't get it smooth pm me, there are settings you can adjust.
Not sure if anyone else is having similar issues but BBC stream buffers constantly. Don't think they can handle the traffic. iTV was much smoother the other day.
Note: In US, so maybe this is issue.
And cheers for letting us know about Zenmate. It's been really great.
so I downloaded Zenmate, and installed it into my chrome browser. After it is installed, you should see a tiny shield in the top corner. Click it. There will be another shield in the middle which you can click, and change the location to London, United Kingdom. After you do that, you should be able to go to the itvplayer at and stream it.

> '11. Enable UPnP in your router settings;
This step is actually optional. Provided you manually opened the port at step 10. UPnP can be a security risk.
Zenmate in Chrome worked for me, although I had to give an email. If you don't want to use your personal email, you can try a disposable email address. There are quite a lot of sites that give you one, you can try Guerrillamail
On Chrome, nor Hola or Mediahint work for me. They simply don't. ITV figures it out.
But Zenmate works absolutely great. Just clear your cookies and when it asks you that they want permission to check your location. Do not allow or deny simply close that and it would ask for Zip Code. And then works great.
Edit : I wish Zenmate has a Firefox add-on.
I use a VPN (Private Internet Access) and connect to the London VPN. Once it connects, I go straight to BBC and can watch the live HD streams from there.
I used it to connect to a Toronto VPN to watch the Olympics also because their coverage wasn't abysmal like the American broadcasts.
Then there's the torrenting, but that's the besides the point right now. $40/yr is well worth it in my opinion.
It must be something in my settings saying I'm not in the UK, because ITV figures it out regardless of what addon I used, even Zenmate. I don't use Firefox often so it's clean of digital footprint I guess.
