Ripping it now, but I'm not sure if /u/asthmatickitty would appreciate me sharing it on the Internet. Thoughts?

I don't care about Sufjan's sexuality outside of being a gay dude who likes to read into things. It's his business, but even if I'm just projecting, even if it doesn't matter...
I got the impression "John My Beloved" might be partially a song about hooking up with a guy out of grief and falling for them despite not totally being there. Or maybe it's a song about Jesus' pal. There's also a line in "Drawn to the Blood" that goes, "the strength of his arm, my lover caught me off guard..."
Sufjan's always been pretty vague about who he's singing love songs to. I think being less coy about it on such an emotionally honest album is interesting.
So the shows are sold out, as far as I know. But I was able to get second-hand tickets; depends on how much you want to pay. See here: http://www.songkick.com/concerts/22758088-sufjan-stevens-at-fox-theater
I don't know if you saw, but the repress came out not too long ago- http://www.amazon.com/ILLINOISE-Vinyl-Sufjan-Stevens/dp/B0009WFELY/ref=tmm_vnl_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&sr=8-1&qid=1429551864
