Carbs are out of sync. Runs fine to start, but after it warms up it floods.
I used these: ALPHA MOTO Universal Motorcycle Vacuum Carburetor Synchronizer Synchronization Balancer Carb Sync Balancing Gauge Compatible With Honda Yamaha Kawasaki Suzuki GS KZ XS CB 550 650 750 850 900 BMW https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004MSJ7E6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_8KQ9VCDSWDX0Z4NQYWJQ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
And here is what taught me :
I bought one of these trickle chargers off of Amazon and it came with the wires and fuse to attach a connector to the battery. Then purchased this USB adapter that plugs into the SAE port. As a side benefit...it shows you your battery voltage.
DZG H4 Motorcycle LED
I used this plug-n-play blub. Works great at night. https://www.amazon.com/H4-Motorcycle-Headlight-Lumens-Headlamp/dp/B07QBYFVX6?pd_rd_w=26S1g&content-id=amzn1.sym.e9d1499d-979e-4764-af1a-4b0fc4e747e5&pf_rd_p=e9d1499d-979e-4764-af1a-4b0fc4e747e5&pf_rd_r=NCJ2QB4KXM2E9VQAA903&pd_rd_wg...
Also added this LED brake light bulb. Amazon says it does not fit Vstar 1300 but match the stock bulb type https://www.amazon.com/iBrightstar-Flashing-Projector-replacement-Brilliant/dp/B07LG2DWC3?pd_rd_w=26S1g&content-id=amzn1.sym.e9d1499d-979e-4764-af1a-4b0fc4e747e5&pf_rd_p=e9d1499d-979e-4764-af1a-4b0fc4e747e5&pf_rd_r=NCJ2QB4KXM2E9VQAA903...
Are you talking about the starter? Or the starter clutch? I’m talking about this
https://www.amazon.com/XVS11000AT-Silverado-1999-2003-5EL-81890-00-00-5EL-81890-01-00/dp/B06XWXFYBZ
My starter clutch hasn’t had problems just yet. And hopefully not for a while. But my starter isn’t working. The bike clicks when i try to start it, only starting when I bang on the starter a few times. So that’s what I’m getting replaced!
Can't say I have. This is what I put on mine.
Kuryakyn 6345 Premium ISO Handlebar Grips for Throttle and Clutch: Kawasaki, Suzuki, Victory & Yamaha Motorcycles, Gloss Black, 1 Pair https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005G5SD7Q/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_0GSVAEF8W6Z94A4DHKNK?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Stock sizes on your 950 tourer should be: Front- 130/70-18 and Rear-170/70-16.
The set I would recommend front and back respectively:
Metzeler ME888 Marathon Ultra 130/70B18 Front Tire 2531500 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B011J188PW/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_4B4JZX4R56C9GEJZE45Z
And
Metzeler ME888 Marathon Ultra Rear Tire (170/70B-16) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B011J18BR2/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_J51E4WCRD2GBJEQ89JTG
I find the seat quite comfortable, but I also don't usually spend more than 1-2 hours in the saddle in a stretch. When you get your seat done, grab one of these to stick under the leather.
Something like these:
MASO 2X 60mm Universal Motorcycle Exhaust Silencer Motorbike Muffler Can Insert Baffle Silencer Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QHSLLFD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_TZ3RYAV8V2J79WDHD18W?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Go inside of your exhaust to create back pressure.
Yes this is after market. You'll find 'em on Amazon. They are cheap and nasty. I bought two and neither worked.
