I didn’t like the lettering on it so I scratched it off. It came off in about 5 seconds so I suppose that’s a great thing if you don’t like the lettering but probably shitty if you actually like the label. Because it won’t last if you like to handle it much.
Absolutely have no experience in cleaning turtle shells, but I can think of two alternative options.
You can buy an attachable head for your outdoor hose that includes a more powerful stream option. Something like this might help you clean that turtle shell.
You can use your bathtub’s faucet, as the water pressure is more powerful than you’d get from your sink or shower.
Did a little snooping to see where you are located. You’ve a post that looks like you’re located in the US, and it is important to be aware that hummingbirds, including their feathers and parts, are illegal to own under the MBTA. Fines can get hefty, so it’s worth knowing about this stuff. Cool collection, beyond that. For the other, non-protected feathers, I used to buy clear magnetic photo frames and various crystal jars to display my feathers in. The jars I prefer to use, have tops or forks, so that the feathers aren’t subjected to dust or other contaminants that may cause damage.
I love these lights so much. They’re small enough that it’s not too overpowering and turn on/off by pressing them
I have clips like these and clip them on the hide. I either hang it on a nail or add string to the metal side and attach the strings somewhere.
I don’t personally have this book but I saw it a few months back and thought it would be really cute for a kid! The Skull Alphabet Book
That link isn’t working on my end, but here’s what I use:
If you buy the 95% you can use it straight out of the bottle for fixation, and then use water to dilute a portion down to 70% for display.
Okay, how about this? link
