I use Ride with GPS for pre-planned routes. The wahoo elemnt companion app automatically sync these to my Elemnt, which has the same feature spec as your Bolt.
If you want more instantaneous route planning, like when you’re already on the road and want to go to a nearby cafe for a pit stop, you can create guided directions using the wahoo elemnt companion app on the spot. It requires a data connection / internet service, though, and you don’t get to customize the route — it just tries to get you from A to B in the most “optimal” manner it computes; if you deviate from the route, I don’t think you get corrections.
These instructions worked for me to recover a file that wouldn't sync to the app for some reason. I had trouble getting adb (or anything else on my laptop) to see the Bolt when it was plugged in at first but was able to get it to show up after switching to a different cable. If you're not comfortable with the command line or don't want to install adb, the Android File Transfer app lets you drag and drop the file that you need from the exports folder to your laptop.
I don’t know if this helps, but I use a dab of electrogel on my HRM rather than just water. I do use a Garmin HRM but I would have problems with it turning on or stop trading during a ride. That problem has pretty much gone away with using this gel.

Yes.
a) This should work. I had a 2nd hand Wahoo Bolt so Wahoo wouldn't replace it since I wasn't the original owner.
b) Here's the Wasita case on Amazon, no issues using it for at least the past year, including in light rain:

Are you using a tool like this - https://www.parktool.com/product/cassette-lockring-tool-fr-5-2 and a chain whip? You wrote cone wrench, but from images I saw, that is not the correct tool. Also, I assume both hubs are Shimano or SRAM, or both are Campagnolo.
I did what you are trying to do several times a week without issue.
To add, Amazon UK has 6 reviews and some customer photos:

I've ordered it too, but haven't received it yet, so can't comment on the quality.
Took a long while, but now there seems to be a case on Amazon from Tusita, made for the V2. I've ordered it but not yet received, so can't comment on the quality. Reviews for the V1 model are good, so I think this one will be okay too:

It's probably some Chinese dropship product, but it looks better quality than the ones on AliExpress I think.
Have a simple and cheap yet weird fix that has worked wonders for me. Here it goes. I had some ingrown toenail correctors - they're essentially super thin plastic shims. I placed 4 or 5 of then around the post and then tightened the quick release and voila no more slippage. I'll upload a few pics soon.

I was debating getting something like this for it REDCAMP Large Warm Blanket with Sherpa Lining, Cold Weather Outdoor Blanket Windproof for Camping Stadium, Machine Washable https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08N4RV9HS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_9ZD9ZVV307Z38H3X2SEE
Hey quackadily,
This is Chad from Ride with GPS. To get your routes from your Ride with GPS account onto the Wahoo Roam, you'll first need to authorize your Ride with GPS account through the Wahoo companion app. Then, sync the device over wifi -- make sure your wifi connection does not require additional login credentials. Check out the help page for more details (it shows the original ELEMNT, but the process is the same for the Roam) - https://ridewithgps.com/help/wahoo-elemnt
Check it out, and if you run into any other issues, hit us up at [email protected] and we'll be happy to help.
Cheers!
It’s a 15v 5A DC output so something like this MIGHT work:
Never tried it. But here is some unsolicited advice:
Just get the $50 power adapter from Wahoo. Third party chargers/adapters can be iffy and frankly I wouldn’t play around with cheap, third party power supply stuff when it comes to something expensive like a Kickr.
Yes. You can use either RideWithGPS or Strava. I do routes from RwGPS and am not paying extra. I have my account linked to my Wahoo account. After creating a route I just sync the Roam and the route will then be available.
I use https://ridewithgps.com/ ( its free ) build a route, then link the account to the Element, then sync the routes ( in the map page on the Element), pick the route, press start and it will give you turn by turn directions ( as long as you are on the route! ).
Mine worked great for about a year. Then it started acting all weird. Turned out it’s the strap that sucks. The way it comes together just doesn’t work right for me. Thankfully this strap from Amazon along with some electrode gel made it work great. If you want to jump ship and get a different brand of HRM rather than put 15-20 bucks in to fixing your Tickr, I understand. But I still recommend the electrode gel no matter what brand you use. It’s very effective and very cheap. 2oz will last years.

I don't really want to break my Reddit to Quasi professional self...
But let me put it this way... Everything you need to Register for their Live Tracking PubSub Server is in 2 JavaScript files that are served to you on every page load. I reverse engineered their auth process (kind of a problem with JS apps) ... So you can sub directly to their outbound updates. Once you get to this point it will give you an entire FIT file from their activity. They basically chop your ride up every 2 minutes and "end" it with the FIT file and send it to you. So if you can read a .FIT file you can do whatever you want... which there are TONS of data in .FIT files from all of the sensors too.

Here was another one that I helped out a lot on.
If you need or want more... DM me and I can get you some source code or give you a bit more details.
Please post a video of you manufacturing the part ala my mechanics style :D
I've been using this generic HRM strap for the last year and a half and it's been pretty flawless - totally worth the ~$20:
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07BS6B4PD/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_dl_4R1SXR93ACX6T8X72JBY
So unfortunately I posted that without realizing they were a lbs only and wouldn't ship to me. Any idea where I can find the exact match? I've had no luck finding it.
I ended up buying this : Altus Shimano Cassette Sprocket CS-HG31 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005DTX1VS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_MCJQVQ1KDWT0PETY4YSY
Do you think that would fit in place of mine?

That should fit as it is 8 speed. Just make sure you bought the 11-34 version of it or else you would have to do some indexing.
I assume you're American, I looked around Amazon and other common shops like REI but couldn't find the exact one. On Amazon they have a 11-30 HG50 8 speed but you would have to ensure your derailleur can support that and if it can, you need to do some indexing. 11-30 would be solid for flatter courses.
I actually bought mine at my local bike store, but what I have is similar to this:
Delta Cycle Bike Bicycle Stem Raiser Riser Pro Extender Head Up Handlebar Raiser https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B007WEQIT4/
Same brand, but I'm not positive on the length I've got.
Can't speak to Tickr reliability, but I've used this generic HRM for about a year and a half without issue, if you're looking for an alternative:

This recently happened to my Bolt v1 and my understanding is Wahoo will replace it if this happens as it's a common issue. Open a support ticket.
Gluing it might not keep it waterproof.
I did find several people online that said they superglued it back in place, with mixed results.
I opened a ticket for my Bolt but unfortunately for me I bought my unit used off eBay and the warranty did not apply.
I found several people that said using this cover solved the issue for them:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0753D7NC4/
I have one coming today so I can't provide any direct feedback on it other than 2nd hand reports.
In the meantime, I taped the button edge and this worked fine to hold it in place over several rides.
I purchased one from Amazon. I believe that this is it.
I bought this one (Wahoo Fitness TICKR armband) a few weeks ago and really like it. It connects to my Apple Watch and works great.
