It's mostly word of mouth and networking if you're doing it as a side gig, like former chefs looking for some extra help if they're working on a restaurant concept, line cooks that have moved up the ladder and want to try something new on their menus, etc. I'm guessing you'd need to find an R&D company to work for if it's something you want to make a career out of, so you can build up a reputation and eventually start working for yourself.

You could put all by EACH into reusable bags when shopping. WEIGHED (or per lb), just Store plastic bags. Registers tare (green plastic bags are .02/LB) out those bags automatically but not yours.
