Well, it doesnt add to the smog problems, it's just nasty fumes (although I'm sure they ventilate it). Most chinese casters seem to use epoxy resin which has horrible smell and bad solvents like Dimethylmethan. It is dirt cheap though (in china... not the US).

Other recasters (inclusing myself) use Urethane resin.
Surprisingly enough, I havent seen a chinese maker of it. (Not that I'm sure I'd want it.... I ordered 2 gallons of super cheap chinese RTV but it cured way too fast..... or not at all)

Hmmm I'm guessing you are getting a timeout error rather than a 404 correct? If so, this might be due to an issue with your ISP routing your traffic improperly. If your not already using a VPN, then doing so might resolve the issue, as your traffic will be routed through the VPN server potentially bypassing the problem on your ISP's route. You can get a 7 day free trial from Private Internet Access to test this out.

However, if you are already using a VPN, then try changing the VPN server you are connecting to.
