Cakebrew gives Homebrew a GUI.
Plus Homebrew is so popular, it literally has everything, many packages are added daily, and almost every CLI user has it installed. Homebrew is also the most popular project on Github. It'd be annoying to have two separate package managers, and I doubt Novus will reach even close to the popularity of Homebew.
Why not just build a better GUI for Homebrew(not the full package manager) and create a Homebrew tap for all Leviation related stuff?(which would make things way easier for both users and you guys too) This would also allow you to target the existing install base for Homebrew.
Can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing? You can also install Cakebrew the visually help check out all your installed packages. You might be able to sort something out that way.
Exactly. And I don't know what I actually downloaded and which Node I need to keep for later use. I guess I may just have to keep install and erase constantly to save space
Do you know anything like https://www.cakebrew.com/?
Like the UI part is something I'm looking for so I'm like ahh yeah I have this, I will delete the others...
>Most mac users have probably never heard of homebrew
Not sure about that, given those who buy a Mac (and can justify the price) most likely are using it for advence usage (i.e. not only for surfing the web and streaming)
